Considering how the old threads ended up being spam central, they have been deleted so we can start a fresh one.

So, any discussion on any Anime or Manga should be posted in this thread.
Spammy or short replies that dont add anything WILL be deleted, repeat offenders will be warned / banned from the forum.

For example :
"I like Bleach" is a spammy message, doesnt add anything and will be deleted

"I like Bleach because I find the story arc's interesting, the character development is very well done and interesting and makes you care about them. I prefer the Japanese voices as they are far superior to the American voice actors" etc etc.... would obviously be allowed as it gives more information and adds something to the topic.

So use this topic to talk about your favourite and new Anime and Manga (just a list of Anime / Manga will again be deleted... say WHY you like them)

Anybody here who watches One Piece? i'm really sad Ace and Whitebeard died the anime isn't the same without them .. i really hoped they will save Ace , but damn..

Just wanted to know if anybody could recommend any action, martial arts or samurai based anime?

I want to get back into one piece but not sure where to start and wasn't enjoying going back to the beginning

I've watched about 70 bleach episodes but not my cup of tea.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Favorite anime is Death Note, but only till episode 26, I mean the L and Light season, i love this anime cause of the extreme tactics made by both L and Light , although mostly i like Light more xD i'm the kind of man that has the same opinions as Light, wish i had a Death Note.

Other animes that i like/liked are/were Naruto(still watching it after 5 years),Hellsing ( Alucard is a sick character that i love), Tenju Tenge ( i just liked it, no special reason,although more episode wouldn't kill anybody, but there is the manga ) Afro Samurai(the only "american anime" that is worth watching) and many others just a few of those i like

By the way: who doesn't loves Dragon Ball Z ?

I've seen the Tenge stuff I felt it ended abruptly.

Yeah I watched the majority of the dragonball stuff in my teens / early 20's. Loved it.

Yeah , Tenju Tenge, could have a much more better end, it ended very stupid i can say, but it was a nice anime in my opinion and about Death Note hope you enjoy it like i enjoy it one of the only animes that are not based on blood and gore, that i loved Enjoy

I watched only Naruto .. and i like it very much because it had nice fights , a good storry line and it was funny too , every day at school ..talk with my class mates about it

I watched Naruto and Pokemon but now i dont watch anything .... and my friends talking about Blitch .. can anyone says what is Blitch ?

I think they're talking about bleach.

Not really a fan myself I prefer martial arts based ones like naruto and the others I mentioned earlier.

The only anime I really take interest to is Bleach, because of the Bankai's and the Ichigo storyline.

If anyone reads the bleach manga, i think it's taking too long for ichigo to get into some action!

i like(ed) DBZ it had a call story line and was intense just wish they would make new episodes

personally, I really like bleach, and think it is definitely worth the watch/read. To get into the entire story i'd suggest you watch episodes 1-20 of the anime (because that's what got me hooked) I would also suggest that you watch it in japanese with subtitles rather than the english version.

Then you could start reading the manga if you like it, also you wouldnt have to download as many videos and you get to avoid the filler seasons (some of the fillers are good but usually take a while to get going and dont add anything to the major storyline except add a little background to some of the minor characters).



I read the manga, and i agree not much is happening at the moment, but having said that it is beginning to building up pretty quickly now and I think we'll see some more action soon. Also, even though it's slightly frustrating, I do like the tension that is being built especially regarding ichigo's family and all these new characters they've introduced
