To expand on the guide post made above, I would advise against blindly maxing Skill A and placing all remaining points in Skill B and just seeing what moves you have and picking from what's available. In making your build and determining what skills to put points into, always consider what 'final' moves you have yet to unlock. The priority should almost
always be to actively move towards unlocking your 'final' 3-4 moves in each position that you will want to stick with for the rest of your wrestler's career.
That said, I'm not going to go into every position, but if you're attempting a pure sub build, the above post did have it right that Bent/Groggy/Grounded are the key positions. So here's a short list of the dominant submission moves in each of those positions and the required stats to unlock them. If you're unfamiliar with the moves table, it can be found at
http://s3.thewrestlinggame.com/extra/move_table.asp, and the number in front of the stats represents the
combined total levels the skills must possess (e.g. Figure 4 can be obtained with 32Mast/32Power, 40Mast/24Power, etc). For some skills, like Improved Reflex on a couple of the Bent Down moves, it could be worth bypassing the skill entirely and unlocking the move by getting the full 44 Lightness points in the example of the Octopus Hold, since Improved Reflexes is a waste skill as a tech.
