As the last topic turned into a spam-a-thon with people posting just "John Cena V Randy Orton" or things similar that gave no information, it has been deleted and this new topic created.
When replying, dont just give the match participants, explain WHY you think its the best or worst match you've seen.
If you want to list multiple matches, thats fine but please give a reason WHY to each match.... just a list of matches isnt good enough and doesnt add anything to the topic.
Replies with just "I like Orton Vs Cena" or "Worst is Horswoggle and Chavo" dont add anything at all to the topic, will be deleted and repeat offenders will be warned and / or banned from the forums
As per the forum rules, do not post links. Also peoples opinions will be different from yours, so respect their opinion and do not flame them.
Thank you and have fun

The best match i have ever seen is simply hbk vs undertaker at wrestlemania 26, because they went all out. Everybody knew that hbk would retire, but a lot of people was hoping that undertaker would lose the streak, because hbk is and always will be mister wrestlemania. the emotions that where part of the match made this match the best i have ever seen. What do you guy's think?

Taker v HBK The match was soo good becuz of the amt. of finishers performed, kick outs, and reversals not to mention two legends fighting in a classic one on one match

One of the best Matches was Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels Hell in a Cell back in 1997 i guess. That was the match when Kane debued. I was 10 years old and truely shocked when he entered and just tombstoned the Undertaker.
Another great match was Taker vs Mankind Hell in a Cell when Mankind was thrown of the top of the Cage through an Anouncertable.
The worst match i remember was that 8 seconds match Kane vs Chavo guerrero. I mean making a match like this on a stage like Wrestlemania is senseless ~

well i think we must put in a womens match.....Tara Vs. Mickie James Cage Match on impact. They proved that female wrestlers CAN be the main event and this is definatly the best match out of all the womes matches that ive seen all year, they put it all on the line and in a match thats not normally used for women a steel cage, the spots were well done and these ladies deserve the title of match of the year in my opinion. But all time...that's a tough one there have been many great matches. Worst match to my memory is anything regarding hornswoggle....i have nothing against little people but this is just disgraceful to wrestling....they have a bad enough name as it is they dont need this gimmick making it worse.

I would have to say that Undertaker vs HBK at both WM 25 and WM 26 are two of what I think are the best matches.
They both had excellent psychology involved and kept the audience captivated from start to finish. the false finishes in both were the highlight as you never knew who would win. Shawn Michaels' retirement at WM 26 was a shock but I can't see a better way for him to go out than at Wrestlemania in one of the greatest matches of Wrestlemania.

Definitely Taker vs HBK (WM25)
The entrances were the best entrances I've ever seen. HBK's descent from the heavens and Takers rise from Hell. You knew just from that there was gonna be a hell of a match. And what a match it was! Just when you thought it was over...nope, not yet. I was somewhat disappointed with the rematch at 26. Sure, the match itself was exciting, the same kind of drama I expected, but the entrances paled in comparison to the first one.

I loved the Undertaker vs HBK match at Wrestlemania, it was so thrilling and intense, anyone could of won it. It was either Undertaker continuing on his streak at Wrestlemania or HBK ending it on him! I loved that, best match ever.
I dont think there is a worst match for me, I like all of them, its great!

The worst match i've seen came a few years ago (I can't remember when it was, it was just a regular smackdown episode) and the main event was Lesnar vs. Big Show. The match was coming along decent, Lesnar hit a fairly early F-5 so you knew both wrestlers we're tired. Anyway, the ending of the match just made me disgusted. Big Show was on the turnbuckle and Lesnar super plexed him and they came down pretty hard and the ring collapsed, and the ref. fell down. That was the only good part about it, the ref fell down... 5 seconds later the camera turned off and that was the show. Pathetic, I know.
One of my favourite matches (It's not an all time great) was the strectcher match at Judgement day, (2003 or 2004 I think) Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar, sound familiar? So the storyline was Big Show was intentioally injuring people, putting them on stretchers. Such superstars as Chris Benoit and Rey Mysterio. So, Brock got involved and challenged Big show toa stretcher match for Brock's WWE Championship. So the match was excellent, and near the end is what maade it amazing to watch. Lesnar had Big Show laying on the mat so he ran up the ramp and went backstage so big show was left in the ring just chilin not knowing what to do. Then from nowhere, Rey mysterio started attacking Big Show, and he was going to town, then Brock Lesnar came out with a FORKLIFT, and on the crate it had on the front was a stretcher XD Brock got into the ring and F-5 Big Show and rolled his onto the stretcher and raised the forklift as high as it could go and backed ontp the ramp and won the match... Pure excellence XD

Worst match for me was Brock Lesnar facing Bill Goldberg at WM20. I mean a really awesome built up storyline and then such a borin match, where they stand 90% of the time in the ring huging each other :s
Best Match goes to Undertaker vs Mankind at King of the Ring 1998. Hell in a Cell in it´s most brutal form. nothing more to say to it ^^

I havent seen many good matches in PPVs but my favourate match ever was the HBK Vs Y2J Ladder Match at No Mercy 08 because it was a perfect ladder match and it had a great storyline to it.
When it comes to worst match I immediatly think of Santino Marella, the worst one i remember is Batista Vs Santino November 08 it was really quick and you knew about 110% that Batista was going to rip Santino, Santino also kept stating he would beat him, funny but really bad match.

SInce I´m a bit of a submission fan, my favorite matches would have to be every match that Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit worked together. These 2 guys could have probably turned a blindfold arm wrestling contest into a great match. You could always see the intensity they displayed each time the fought. Nowadays when a wrestler slaps on a submission holöd, his opponent looks like he´s getting a massage.
The worst matches I have ever seen are all matches where Lacey von Erich was allowed to bore people to death. Don´t get me wrong I don´t have a problem with womens wrestling, but she always looked like she had no idea what she was doing.

AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe vs The Fallen Angel Chris Daniels (The 1st TNA match) Soory I cant remember the PPV it was on but it was about 2007-8. I was sitting watching the PPV and I called my wife over (Who hates wrestling) and said "Watch this match darling you'll probably enjoy it." She begrudgingly sat down to watch with a "I don't think so" She sat down and watched to whole match and at the end she turned to me a said "Wow that was really good, those guys can really move, even the fat one!" It was still the last time she watched wrestling with me but it was also the only time she has said something that wasn't derogatory about wreslting so that's why it's my favorite match.

Since I'm not the kinda guy that thinks the best match should be at a Pay-Per View I would go with Hardy vs Morrison like a year ago for the world title, that match was one of the greatest I've ever seen on just a regular friday night. As far as the worst match goes I think that would be any match involving, Hornswoggle and Daniel Bryan.
