Anyone play Borderlands on the PC? IMO it is one of the best co-op games made

no skyrim love from the fellow twg gamers? it has to be the best game in 2011 at least.

I made a long post about Tekken, so why not make an even bigger post about this whole console war?

First off, let me first say that there WILL BE A WINNER. I will not be one of those guys that thinks that he is cool by saying that all are equally good and that you should buy every single next-gen console.

I am not ignorant with this subject. I have been playing since back when the NES existed (I am about the age of the average gamer, so we don't need any of that "too old" stuff).

The three next-gen consoles are Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3. Wii got boring after about five minutes, but that isn't for me. I understand that people like it, and I won't do what I do with everything I hate, and that is destroy it. I will let the Wii be. On the other hand, we get the Xbox 360 and the PS3. I don't care how it looks. Will it be able to play games? For the record, 360 beats PS3 by a long shot. Let's look at what PS3 fans say why they hate the 360:

Argument: You have to pay for live while we get online for free

Response: You get what you pay for. Let's compare the different features. You can use your PS3 as a computer. AND???? I already have my own computer to use, so what will I need to do with this one? At the end of the day, we are arguing which one is a better GAMING console. Using Wikipedia doesn't make it better for play games and all that stuff. Xbox has something PS3 will most likely never get, and that is cross game voice chat. You can talk to somebody else when you are on a different game. 360 can support up to 8 gamers. PS3 can support up to 0. Now, onto the last part of this current response. When did Xbox Live ever get hacked? NEVER!!!! When has PS3 gotten hacked? IN THE SUMMER!!!! Want to know why? BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO GET A GOOD SECURITY SYSTEM!!!! WANT TO KNOW WHY? BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR ONLINE PAY!!!!


Argument: Is saying PSN got hacked the only thing that you can say bad about the PS3?

Response: I wouldn't say that if PSN didn't get hacked, but there are a lot more flaws.


Argument: You got RROD.

Response: You got YLOD, but I do agree that RROD could have been avoided a lot easier. Also, our support line is not filled with a bunch of people who woke up on the wrong side of the bed now, is it?


Argument: We got BLUUUUU RAY!!!! The quality is so much better.

Response: Blu Ray is just laggy, and I do not care about high definition. I still use VHS!!!!


Argument: We have better graphics.

Response: Firstly, the GPU for the 360 is a lot stronger. Secondly, I DON'T CARE!!!! I still play my SNES every now and then.


Argument: We have the best exclusives.

Response: What exclusives might that be? Afrika? Are you telling me that Afrika is a credible exclusive that you would use for an argument? I have sat through a lot of PS3 exclusives such as Afrika, Killzone, God of War, M.A.G, MGS 4, and Uncharted 2. The only one that I like is M.A.G. With that, 360's exclusives just DESTROY your's. That is my opinion, but you cannot state how you feel about 360 exclusives until you actually play them. Halo 3, Halo Wars, Left4Dead, & GoW just to name a few.


Argument: THE PRICE WENT DOWN!!!!

Response: At the cost of backwards compatibility, which was one of their few good aspects. It is STILL more expensive than the 360.


Argument: Live is just laggy.

Response: There is lag at times, but your lag is just TERRIBLE!!!!


Argument: Every three or four games you play, you have to do a twenty second update.

Response: Every GAME that you play, you have to do a twenty minute update.



I just shot down almost every argument. Feel free to respond to this. My personal preference is definitely the 360. PS3 users can still enjoy their console. It is enjoyable to an extent, and I understand why you all like it. The 360 is not perfect either. For example, there is the RROD. I don't know if the new ones have it fixed. Then there is of course the fact that YOUR XBOX MUST REMAIN STILL AT ALL TIMES OR ELSE YOU DISC WILL BE RENDERED COMPLETELY USELESS. It doesn't move often, but there can be a time when you accidentally trip over it, or you have a pet in the room.

Anyone plays disgaea 4? I love that game!

Never a fan of disgaea. Too childish and the game never ends.

I have been playing Saints Row 3rd recently, and it is really impressing me.. I am starting to favour this game over GTA, though I may eat my words when the new GTA comes out..

Saints Row is just a fill Gap for GTA which will be epic as it always is, but must admit i really do like sanits row 3 tho

Saint row 3 was pretty good same gameplay but better graphics

I have borderlands on the pc aswell and it is a great co-op game.

I have the game to, it's pretty good. I red that there's coming a Borderlands 2

Anyone like Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath? I have been putting off Command & Conquer 4, put I'm buying it soon. Kane's Wrath is an expansion, a rather Terrific one. You play as a Nod Commander, and take control of it's troops and upgrades. Plus new features and units. I prefer GDI in the Skirmish Matches... Just get MARV, it's very easy Tiberium. Get the Tiberium you need, and get as many Mammoth Tanks as you can. Then unleash a full assault and break your enemy down!

What do we think of Capcom's latest attempt to grab extra money for content already on the disc in Street Fighter X Tekken? It's a similar deal to the Mass Effect 3 controversy.
