I love RoH. It's always been about the best pound for pound wrestlers putting on the best matches they can. The only issue now is that WWE and TNA are starting to poach thier top stars.
Hopefully that'll mean they will start to bring up the next gen of stars.

CZW is awesome from what I've seen. Though I haven't seen much of it. I would love to see them get a national TV deal. They would probably put it on late at night on Spike TV or something due to it's content but it would be quite a site. I'm a huge fan of the hardcore style and I know I would love what CZW has to offer.

Yeah i like RoH. It's great and some matches there are way more exciting then some in the wwe or tna...

Roh is the actual wrestling, I love it when the wrestler signed with the WWE and TNA, as Samoa Joe, Danielson, Desmond etc ...

imo czw is too violent , they had a hanging scene a while back which was just sick, ROH on the other hand i really like, anyone see the ppv the other night?

I did, The el generico vs. Kevin Steen match was epic, even though it was a bit violent compared to ROH normal matches.

I see that talk about RoH. yes good wrestling, far better than CZW. but don't forget about the other major indy promotion, PWG. they have had many good greats come through there as well. both El Generico and Kevin Steen may i mention came through and wrestle for PWG. albeit, they dont get televison play like RoH does, but dont count them out, they have the King of Trios tourney, good characters, and some funny moments as well. they make wrestling a family program, unlike the company of CZW. i like hardcore matches, but some matches are just too much. too me some matches are glorified backyard wrestling matches.

I have to agree with your ascertation about PWG. Being on the other side of the world I have only ever seen Youtube matches from PWG but they do look very good.

I personally have never been a big fan of "Hardcore" matches even back in the 90's but CZW have had a few good "Wrestling" matches over the years with a little bit of Hardcore stylings in them that actually added to the spectical.

What are some good indie companies? I hear there matches are great and i want to check them out.

You will find a lot of good indy circuit matches with him.

Recently i saw a mexican match on you tube... I don't knpw which division it was but it was really great...lots or rey misterio there

And lot of guys much better than Rey, but look at his age. He should reitre or back to Mexico in 2 years. Maybe in Mexico he can show us something more?

I'm a huge fan of WAW wrestling, the best independent wrestling show that you have never heard of. It is basically a bunch of average normal people (by normal I mean not all jacked up) that put on a good quality show for free and is available for all to download. They may not be the best wrestlers in the world but you can really appreciate the effort put in to it but then again some of the vets can really go. They have different rules with different types of titles that are not normally done. Examples being a pure wrestling division titles...I'm not explain every rule cuz there are quite a few. Women compete with the men and have even recently had an all women team champs.

So if you have some time to kill download a couple of matches and see if you like it. URL removed by HCB

I'm not promoting them because I am in no way associated with WAW. I'm just exposing them because I appreciate a good quality non-professional product.

Nobody's mentioned SHIMMER yet, I see. They're a women's wrestling fed that runs out of Chicago, and they consistently produce shows filled with quality matches. I wasn't much of a fan of women's wrestling before I saw some of their stuff, because the so-called "divas" of the WWE are mostly jumped-up models who wouldn't know a wristlock from a wristwatch, and their matches are almost uniformly terrible.

SHIMMER, however, is booked like a Japanese joshi fed. The women all take their craft VERY seriously, and many of them can and do work their asses off. If you're a fan of good wrestling, I encourage you to check out a SHIMMER show or two.
