As like much of this forum, the last topic ended up being full of spam and nonsense posts, so has been deleted and this new topic created.
When posting in here, please give a good reason or explanation to what your improvements to TNA would be.
Something like "hire John Cena" is not only completely ludicrous in that it wont happen anytime soon, it also adds nothing to the topic.
A brilliant example of ideas would be this post:
Quote:
First they need to continue to limit guys like Kevin Nash from in ring action, and keep them as a side show Mid card or upper midcard story line. The championship needs to be hotly contested. As of late, it seems no one wants anything to do with it. AJ Styles feels like a champ who doesn't care about the Belt. Move Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan back stage as booking permanently. they do NOT need to be in the public eye, though I am happy they haven't had much in ring interaction.
Hire back Christopher Daniels.
Fire Vince Russo.
Fire Jeff HardLy (without the flames this time?)OR
Reduce HardLy and RVD to lower card tag team action, maybe even giving them a tag push, but nothing serious.
*Let me elaborate on HardLy and RVD. They are not really the draws they used to be. HardLy has trouble staying sober enough to be understood and has a pending court date for some SERIOUS charges. RVD just doesn't carry the same weight he did because as talented as he is, he's just above average on the TNA roster, and the things that amazed people when he was over are far more commonplace from other people now.
Push Elijah Burke. The Pope gimmick is NICE. Like a cross between the Rock and the Godfather and it WORKS. He's a smooth ass playa and he sells the gimmick well.
Figure out what to do with Desmond Wolfe. The man is GOLD. You signed him because he was a KING in ROH. Now USE him. Having him come in right at the top and destroy Kurt Angle in his first appearance was probably a bad move; where do you go from here? He needs to have a hot feud, and maybe even get a push in the X division.
Say goodbye to Rob Terry. The man never impressed me, and is an over glorified bodybuilder. He's like Batista, without the explosive snap in his movements.
Make the Legends title a WRESTLING title. Make the matches good back and forth mat wrestling exercises in matches where guys like Douglass Williams can excel, and put on a great match without being sidled with the garbage that comes with being a main event performer (sort of like the old WCW TV Title).
Figure out how long you want to push Team 3-D. They have to be one of the most over-rated teams ever who have managed to impress Japan as well as America. They were good 5-10 years ago. Time to let that go, especially when you have teams like Beer Money and the Guns ready to move into the primetime and make the tag titles an upper midcard affair again.
Last, Let AJ Styles lead the way. He does NOT need Ric Flair to help him on screen (if anything, Flair takes away from Styles). Between Angle and Styles, you have veteran leadership that can push TNA above and beyond incredibly over the next few years. Also acquiring someone like Edge or Randy Orton wouldn't hurt them either. But they need to make their own talent, and pick a main event story line. The top of the show has a LOT going on and it honestly just muddies up the Main even card.
Well thought out ideas with reasons as to WHY each thing should be done.
Now I dont expect everyone to write a huge thing like that, but something that explains your idea or reasons in a well thought out manner is what Im looking for in this topic.
