As like much of this forum, the last topic ended up being full of spam and nonsense posts, so has been deleted and this new topic created.
When posting in here, please give a good reason or explanation to what your improvements to WWE would be.
Something like "bring back Jeff Hardy" or "bring back the attitude era" is not only completely ludicrous in that it wont happen anytime soon, it also adds nothing to the topic.
A brilliant example of ideas would be this post:
Quote:
1) They need to keep the storylines going and characters straight. Example: This recent heel turn of Edge's? way too soon. Especially with Jericho also going to RAW. Or the fact that Michael boring Cole is a unbiased face announcer on RAW, but on NXT he is definitely the heel. They did a much better job when they dropped the face/heel concept with announcers.
2) In the opposite vain, they need to know when to let go. By this I mean to drop an angle because it isn't working (something WWE hasn't never been able to do, even in the pre-PG era). Also, when a wrestler needs to be unleashed. My name is Blair, and I am a John Cena fan. Fewww. Now don't hate on me. I mean I'm not as huge a fan of his as I am of Austin, Angle, Rock, Jericho, Eddie or Benoit, but I do like him. That is to say, I liked him a lot more when he rapped his promos and did more than a handful of moves (Remember the Throwback? That was a great move). WWE needs to concede that sometimes they castrate their superstars.
3) The Blood thing. JR said in his blog that he thinks blood in every second match reduces the impact. Fine, I totally agree. Not every match should have a blading followed by a bright red crimson mask. What they are doing at the moment, however, is stupid. Stopping matches because of legitimate, and often tiny, cuts looks ridiculous. If he has a busted lip or a split eyebrow, go with it. It isn't a PG thing. It's a sports thing. Contact Sports sometimes have accidental blood. Boxing, Football, MMA. It's one thing not to have someone intentionally bleed all over the mat, it another to stop the action in ring because of something that is little more than a paper cut.
4) Renaming classic PPVs. Elimination Chamber? TLC? These are silly names for PPV. No Way Out was a perfect name for an Elimination Chamber heavy event. Breaking Point has been one of the few changes that has not only sounded cool, but is a great way to describe the PPV, just like No Way Out is for a PPV that features a match where the only way out is losing, which isn't an option for a competitive person. Survivor Series. What was wrong with that? Not forgetting that some titles can't be used in certain countries. Elimination Chamber is still No Way Out in Germany because, well, chambers have a bad history in Germany, especially with regards to eliminations.
5) This PG mentality. I'm sure there are much more 18 year old + wrestling fans then there are under that age. And while I'm sure a lot of the merch for Cena and Rey is sold to younger people, they aren't the ones buying PPVs and DVDs. All this time that the WWE is wasting pandering to these "parasites" (just kidding) they are driving those that can watch TNA or ROH, to those very companies for a more well-rounded show. Ones that have the normal singles and tag matches, but also maybe a cage match or a ladder match or a table match. Something the WWE seems to only want to save till PPV time. But if none of the adult who purchase these events have been watching the lead in shows, why should they care enough to buy the PPV?
Well thought out ideas with reasons on each part.
Now I dont expect everyone to write a huge thing like that, but something that explains your idea or reasons in a well thought out manner is what Im looking for in this topic.
Also, if you disagree with someone, explain WHY you do in a constructive manner, things like "I disagree, your an idiot" wont be tolerated at all.
Posts that are short or add nothing to the topic will be deleted, repeat offenders will be warned and/or banned from the forums
