This suggestion is something of a double edged sword or something I suppose.

The first half is: Nerf the amount of tp you get from the forums target (or at the very least implement it into something where you don't obtain it by only doing ten posts. or, some sort of thing that discourages spamming this.)

Personally, Even if people are reprimanded from the tps by getting them taken away, this is the only target you can obtain an easy stat reset in a few days Compared to the old game targets that we once had (don't need to bring 'em back, just comparing) it's exponentially easier for someone to obtain 50 tps here than it was to get to level five on the others (seemed like it at least over on them, took almost a week and a half to do both)

I say why not just make it spread out more, instead of the 50 tp in one go (which i think would be encouraging spamming, as again, it's equal to more than a month of voting) why not make it like the other targets and split it up or something, and hand out one tp, then two, etc... Until it possibly gets to fifty (could go on more if needed)

While this may not change it that much, I'd like to think that you'd actually have to work for the tps instead of just posting random stuff, getting the tps, and then getting them taken away due to "yes" or "i agree" answers.

For the second half (if it is decided upon to have the forum target took out or just reduced, or nothing at all really): More TP options

Maybe do some fed based ones, for example:

Appearance Master: X amount of appearances (over any amount of season really, so say ten appearances that could be 10 seasons or 3 seasons, and progresses by ten or something)

Or possibly do some stat skills one, like:

Tech/Speed/Resist/Strength Master: Improved 1 stat skill to 40 (or some number) and give a tp for each 1 you get in each stat (that's 5 tp) or 1+the previous of it (would be 1+2+3+4+5+ 6 for class, or 1+2+3+4+5 for non class, which would be 21 or 15 tps for something that would take a relatively long time in my eyes, which would be a total of 66 tps eventually, which would be a great deal more effort to achieve than the forums one.)

Opinions? I honestly doubt a nerf of forums will be implemented, and the other targets wont be implemented, but to see people's opinion on the matter would be nice.

And no forum mods, etc, I don't feel like I need to help with the spam problem, I'd just prefer not to have to look at a topic I posted in and think someone put input in it and i see a few word answer. yeah it will be deleted, but it's a waste of my time to have to go through each topic to make sure someone else did actually put content in it.

I complained about this to Abdel after not getting anywhere on the forums and he did hint that he too wanted to change the forum target to something more in line with "being signed up for X amount of time" which would pretty much solve the annoying spam problem we have now on the forums and let us have a decent community again.

I think the delay in getting this done for now is of course maxo having a lot more pressing things to do like 3d, new server, fix out standing bugs. Hopefully though we will see this come into effect in the near future.

As for more targets/achievments. Always keen on those and there have been topics on it but not sure where the admins sit on this one if they read them or have any more in mind.

A good start would be expanding some of the existing achievements that are realyl easy to get like sparring partner sessions or level 100 TM's etc., maybe level 200 TM then 300 etc. for more bonuses as us higher lelve players get these "top" achievemnts quite easily whilst there are others that are very far away.

hmmm, the length of time here approach would be decent, but i'd think that you'd have to have something of a post requirement per the amount of time per step (as in a few posts once in a while), as having people sign up and just leave their account would still be a con, although I'd agree the spam problem would almost evaporate.

Well I think personally I would rather reward people for being part of the forums and using them as they actually need to for help and advice etc. or nto at all and have them gain 50 TP after 2 months than it is now and reward 50 TP for posting nonsense.

But yeah I guess some sort of activity requirement like 1 post a week or something makes sense. If you have a 2 month + 10 posts or what not you will still get the spam most likely.
