i thought i remember reading somewhere that a move with a bleed/wounding build in it needs at least 20 damage to initiate-> is that correct?

The moves needs to do enough damage for the damage level at least be 'strong'. So I think 20 damage is about correct.. Although that rule doesn't apply in last blood matches, where you can cut with even a light move.
