Considering how the old thread ended up being spam central, it has been deleted so we can start a fresh one.

So, any discussion on any music should be posted in this thread.
Spammy or short replies that dont add anything WILL be deleted, repeat offenders will be warned / banned from the forum.

For example :
"I like eminem" is a spammy message, doesnt add anything and will be deleted

"I like Eminem because I find his songs very insightful and meaningful. Ive enjoyed his music for the past 5 years........" etc etc.... would obviously be allowed as it gives more information and adds something to the topic.

So use this topic to talk about your favourite bands, new bands, favourite songs etc (just a list of bands / songs will again be deleted... say WHY you like them)

I like r&b, hip hop, trance, hardcore and hardstyle!! It's all for divirend reasons, because r&b makes me calm and chill, in hip hop i can put all my emotions, and in trance, hardcore and hardstyle i can put all my energy! So it depends on my mood wich kind of music i will listen on that moment, but music also means life and life you should life to the fullest!!!

I like Tupac because i think he was the realest ever , such a great poet and hip hop isn' the same without him also big l , big pun , Guru , ODB i just miss them

I like a little Rap, Hip Hop or anything to do with the sort. I also like quite a lot of rock and a bit of techno.

Eminem is my favourite Rap/Hip Hop artist. Mostly because he raps about real life (although he does have songs joking around in between them), and shows his own emotions in his songs. Mockingbird, Hailie's Song, Kim. He finds ways to rap, so that it makes complete sense, and about subjects he chooses to rap about and which mean the most to him.

He's nothing like the other rappers who only rap about Money, Girls, Cars and being amazing. He's honest on the mic, and that's why I like him.

Oh the rock categories are endless. I can go with any form of rock except Screamo, and if you consider country music somewhat rock, then I hate that too.

Disturbed, Drowning Pool, Dope, Linkin Park, Nickelback, A7X, Bullet For My Valentine, Three Days Grace. I love 'em all.

But my favourite band has to be Disturbed. Like Eminem, they write songs about life and about things that actually matter to them and that may matter to others who have been in th same situation again. Serpetine, about hatred to an ex-girlfriend. We all have ex-girlfriends that we hate. Plus, they have guitar solos that actually fit with the song and hypes it up even more, unlike other bands that just hit notes randomly and call it a guitar solo.

I'm not much of a techno person, but when I am listening to it I'm usually listening to DJ Splash or, if you consider Basshunter techno, a little of that too.

DJ Splash just has the amazing tune, beats and everything. And Basshunters songs are just good anyways.

I love Shakira. I believe she is everything a singer should be. She is influential to young women, she is very sexy/attractive looking, she has a nice voice, she is a greatest dancer, she is charitable (always spending money to build schools in developing Countries), she is an absolute music legend!

I hate rock music, in particular heavy metal. It's nothing but screaming into mic's and plucking strings 'till your fingers get sore. Not real music imo.

What is real music in your opinion then? Rock music doesn't need the help of the studio to give them perfect sound. Classic Rock is the influence to alot of pop and hip-hop artists, and rock is better than any pop/hip-hop/rap I can think of because instruments is more musical than beats and fake drums and synthesizers, etc. imo. I'm not a fan of hevey metal because it's more sound then music, but it's diconent music, and some people like that.

I think the best band is Kings of Leon. There music is AMAZING! AWESOME! IMMENSE! i love love love Kings of Leon, they are genius and absolutely great. They are the biggest band at the moment and I think it will stay that way!

I mostly like ghotic rock, i like Within Temptation, becuase of Sharon Den Adel xD i think she has the voice of an angel and the lyrics are really good xD But anyway i mostly listen various music quite all types of music , i listen what i like to say it in a other way, but mostly i love Sharon's voice, so beautyfull.

I don't know about classic rock, but bands like avenged sevenfold and linkin park or whatever... all loud sounds, I dont classify it as good music, it's not something I'd like to listen to.

IMO no, it doesn´t. has nothing to do with each other.

I love D´n´B , Pop , and House . There are many groups that i like but the best is Green Day and singer MC Zloba . He is singing about Slovakia in Slovak language ... others : Rihanna , Shakira , Nelly , Bruno Mars , Eminem , Akon and Usher.

ha! There's something we agree on I forgot to mention, there's just a lot of drum bashing, a 5 year old kid could do it.

Hardly any modern rock band is good, Queen were good when Freddie was alive.
The Beatles.... 'some' of their songs are good, the others not so great.
Coldplay are quite good and there was an american one, i forgot its' name.
