A good gimmick would be if a wrestler was a puppetmaster.

well in wwe they should use jericho as heel... but another heel type, more joker and less egocentric... he is epic in his heel side, but i would love to see jericho in heel and joker mode again...

one gimmick match i proposed a few years ago in CWA was the New Orleans Gamble (or New Orleans Double Trouble) for title matches:
you start as a tag team match with, in each team, an heel and a face (preferably already feuding). The first part of the match sees one team winning... then, immediatly after, a one on one match begins between the winning tag team partners.
Ex: Cena (face) and Orton (Heel) fight Kane (Heel) and CM Punk (Face). Lets say that Kane chokeslams Orton for the win, he now has to face CM Punk for the title.
The trick in the match is that you need to beat your opponent in the first part of the match without getting too much exhausted, so your previous partner won't beat you too easily in the second part of the match.
