Ok. With the new system weapon shots can cause wrestlers to scream in pain. In the past when facing techs you could prevent injuries with escape submission, the question I'm wondering is how do you prevent yourself from being injured from these random weapon shots? Weapons are starting to seem unbalanced, first they where active in normal matches making hardcore irrelevant, now they cause injuries. I guess I'm anti-weapons. Lol. Personally I feel they should just be removed.

I agree, weapons only in hardcore style matches otherwise maybe introduce a random "disqualification" measure in matches they should not be in. For example all one fall amtches ( including title matches ) maybe if someone gets the random chance of a weapon shot come up they also get a 33% chance of getting caught by the referee and disqualified for it ( title SHOULD change hands ). This would also give a small measure of anyone in the game has a random chance of winning a title regardless of their build.

Since the vast majority of promotions use the rule that a title can't change hands as a result of disqualification, I would rather stick with that tradition.

Sure it can, you just have to have those stipulations. :)

It would be a decent move to implement a wrestling strategy where players can choose to use weapons or not. If there's a way to implement a heel or face wrestler that would be decent.

heel face or twener. i think to that implement this thing would be nice. so in your profile you can chose to be good or not. but i think that this thing should impinge only the server with federation to help storyline during the show

A tweener (and how I loathe that term) is simply a heel that gets cheered. Mechanically, there is no difference between heel and tweener. I posted a couple of suggestions for choosing alignment, and received some positive feedback on it. If anyone cares to respark the discussion there, maybe we can get some attention for it.

And as for weapon attacks, only title matches and invitational matches default to a No DQ scenario without player approval. Every other match that has the possibility is marked as such (which encompasses almost every match we have, now that I think about it). It would be nice to balance weapon attacks with a face equivalent (I suggested a comeback) for some matches, though. Everyone reading as a psycho heel with a hardcore gimmick is a bit tiring.

I think weapon usage should be shortened in important matches. It's not pretty fear that you lose big TP because of random weapon atcks.

personally i like weapons they give an underdog a chance to seriously get some damage on the opponent but i do think they deefeat the object of hardcore if they are used in every match

I did notice in one of my last matches I used a barbed wire bat. Kind of surprised I did this in a non-hardcore match. I didn't care too much in terms of character, as I'm running a bit of a heel tech/bleeder type. Would be nice though if you could distinguish your weapon-using percentage though.

To tell you the truth, I like using weapons during matches that are 1 fall. But not when they are using it on me. But the question when I use the weapon and my partner isn't there distracting, wouldn't the ref call a disqualifcation?

That is a good question i was wondering about this before too, having a normal match while using a weapon is very interesting
