i know AG is used for a finisher, but i dont fully understand it. can someone explain it to me

Well, Adrenaline Gain is just that. How much adrenaline you gain each move. You gain your adrenaline gain in full amount for each move you execute on the opponent, but half of your adrenaline gain each time you are hit. So if I had 20AG, I would gain 20 adrenaline each time I hit my opponent, but gain only 10 adrenaline each time my opponent hits me. This adrenaline then goes to some sort of adrenaline pool where it piles up over the match. Once enough adrenaline has been gained for you finisher, it can be executed. But just because you have the adrenaline for the finisher, doesn't mean it's a sure fire to hit.

so if i attempt my finisher but they block it does that use my adrenaline ?

As far as I know executing finisher doesnt "use up" adrenalin, adrenalin is something you need to execute your finisher, its like you need to be supporter to get a private gym, but buying a private gym doesnt take away your supporter status. In the same way executing you finisher (whether it hits or not) does not "use up" adrenalin

As far as i am concerned it actually uses up your adrenaline when you use the fin but if the opponent blocks the finisher you wont lose the adrenaline you had gathered until that moment.Also you get a number of adrenaline when you attack and half that number when you are attacked,depending on your rage stat and inner rage at.
