•NON-ENGLISH

Use the English language only as it is the most universally understood language.

•SPAM AND FLOOD

Do not spam or flood the chat. This includes letter, symbol and line spamming.

Excessive flooding will result in an immediate ban.

Flood is four or more lines of text. Flood can also be an excessively large post.

Spam is anything posted repeatedly or pointless posts.

Copy and pasting from matches is ok, however limit the copy to one move and the declaration of the winner no more.

•FLAMING (INSULTS)

There is no flaming of other people.

If you are role-playing keep it PG rated and against the wrestler only. NO PERSONAL ATTACKS.

•CAPS LOCK

Do not use caps for more than two words in a sentence, and no posts containing just caps even if only the previously mentioned two words.

Copy and pasting capitals from a match is ok, however limit the copy to one move and the declaration of the winner no more.

•NON-MOD MODERATING

When Moderators are online please refrain from lecturing people on the rules, if too many people jump in, The person will feel attacked and will lash out making the situation worse.

Let the moderators handle it, it is their job.

If you feel a moderator has missed something please contact them via pm.

•LINKS

Do not post links of any kind, clickable or not, TWG’s chat room is not for advertising.

If you wish to pass a link on to somebody then please use the PM system. Recruitment or porn links is an immediate ban (In porno link case your char will be deleted too) even if not clickable.

The only link allowed in chat is the link to FAQS pages for new players.

•ARGUEING/FLAMEING GAME STAFF

Don't argue with game staff, their job is to ensure fairness and to help everyone.

Flaming game staff and chat will lead to an instant ban.

•CHAT RULE QUESTIONS

If you want to know if something is allowed in chat please don’t post the question. Contact a mod in a private message and they will respond with the answer.

•CONTRACT TALK

No contract talk in chat.

This goes for GM’s and normal players, the discussing of contracts only leads to arguments – so please use the PM system.

This includes conversations related to getting a new contract, revealing any details of any existing contract, comparing contracts, or asking opinions on ending a contract.

•SWEARING

No swearing in chat.

If it is censored it is a swear.

Even if the word is censored it can't be said.

If you have been warned for a word you do not believe to be a swear, please PM the mod with the intended word, and they will review your warning.

•BYPASSING/TESTING THE CENSOR AND MASKING SWEARS

Attempts to bypass the censor with swear is forbidden.

Masking swears in any form is also against the rules.

Purposely triggering the chat censor will be considered instigation.

•INAPPROPRIATE MATERIAL

Please refrain from sexual, religious, political and narcotic talks in chat.

There are other ill-fitted topics that don’t belong in chat and please use common sense for these.

•INSTIGATING CHAT

Do not instigate others in chat, doing so to get a reaction will be constituted as flame and will be dealt with accordingly.

Instigating can refer to any instance where you urge others to break the rules, purposely incite a negative reaction, encourage confrontations between yourself and others, or refusing to drop a topic deemed inappropriate for chat.

•BEGGING FOR SUPPORTER AND TOURNAMENT POINTS

Do not solicit for supporter or TP’s in chat, buy your own or send a PM if you believe somebody may be feeling generous.

If you feel you have been unfairly banned or warned please contact the Mod who gave such and if it’s not worked out contact petervenning or Mr. Indianapolis. If they cannot bring a resolution to you and the moderator involved then he will contact Robert Conrey.

You will be given 2 warnings then a ban from only from the chat room. The ban will last for 12 hours. If a person has received multiple bans their chat privileges will be permanently revoked.
