Banker's Banquet: Young Superstars Part I

Hello and welcome to another instalment of... The Banker’s Banquet. Now today I will be talking about many of the young superstars of WWE that we have all grown accustom to. Here are most I will be talking about: Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, Yoshi Tatsu and Evan Bourne. Plus even more! So sit back and enjoy... THE BANKER’S BANQUET!!

The first person I will talk about is........ KOFI KIIINGSTON!

Now, since being drafted to Smackdown, Kofi has been on a huge roll, his feud with Ziggler has elevated to a whole new level.  But the thing I don’t want to see is Kofi turn heel on Ziggler, because if Kofi goes heel, are we going to see a heel Vs heel or a face Vs heel? I like Dolph as he is; a young, arrogant wrestler. He makes the gimmick WORK; he has that feel about him. But if Kofi goes heel, then all of that could change and that would make me a sad panda. But, what I do like about Kofi is his speed, agility, and the way he gets a crowd pumped up. He has a lot to learn from WWE but I hope they use Kofi in the right way and maybe give him a bigger push.

Next up on my list is..... “Dashing” Cody Rhodes!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH! YOU’RE ONLY SMOOOOOOOKING AND MIRRORS

Yes he is now being called “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, after cutting a segment where the Divas voted him as the most handsome wrestler in the WWE today. But, apparently, handsome does not do him justice so now it’s “DASHING” Cody Rhodes. Now looking at Smackdown, his match against Captain Charisma was actually pretty good. It kept me pretty entertained because the pace of the match kept going at a constant speed and that’s what hooks you. He kept his character going throughout the match, (trying not to get his face hit) and he actually took that slap from Christian very well. His entrance to his matches is pretty... Well let us say that it is unique anyway. The way he works his gimmick is also very good because he sticks with it very well even during his matches. I think an Intercontinental title shot may be up his alley or maybe teaming up with Alberto Del Rio? We’ll see in the next few months.

Ok who is the third person on my list?

I AM PEEEEEEEERFECTION..... PERFEEEEEEECTION!

I guess they want me to talk about Ziggler. So, what can I say about Zig Zag or Ziggler or now Mr. Perfection as I like to call him now.  But    Ziggler is awesome! I don’t care what you think he is AWWWWWWWWWWWESOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME. I am ecstatic they gave Dolph the IC title, he deserves the title after being a jobber for a long time. This week on Smackdown he faced Rey in the MAIN EVENT!!! GO DOLPH! But anyway, he faced Rey and lost. But we all know that the lucha libre should win because he makes da moneeeeyzzzz from the fans. This is Smackdown’s John Cena so he’ll obviously win. But Dolph looked very impressive in that match; he had a lot of good spells with Rey in that match, and I really wanted him to win. But the only problem with that is that we’re near the border of Mexico and that means he has to win.

But seriously, Dolph is one of the superstars that I’m looking forward to seeing in the near future, he’s 30 years old (seriously look it up) and he’s still got another 10-20 years ahead of him and maybe nowhere near his full potential. I want WWE to give him an even BIGGER push and maybe put him in the number 1 contender for the WHC. If he does get it I will just be ecstatic.

Ok now moving on to the 4^th person on my list. This is somebody who many people find too arrogant, but you know wrestling is SCRIPTED and in that case FAKE but anyways onto who the wrestler is... THHEEEEEEEEE MIIIIIIIIIIIIZ!

Now, let’s see what my opinion on The Miz is. Oh yeah, first off he’s awesome, he should be WWE champion and that’s it. But let me go into even more depth about my opinion.

The Miz has recently become a big hit on RAW because of his tag run with The Big Show. Even when that ended he kept on flourishing when he became a mentor on a new show called NXT. From there he would just keep on shouting at Daniel Bryan saying he’s an embarrassment and that makes him look like an embarrassment as well. But from there he has captured the US title and is the MiTB winner!

But really the bottom line is, The Miz does an awesome promo; he gets a lot of heat from the fans but that is what makes him such a good actor for WWE. His in-ring skills are pretty good, he has an average build for a wrestler but I would like to see a new finisher; although he has a new one I’d like to see another finisher for him because he needs to show even more dominance within the WWE.

Overall, the Miz is a good wrestler who also needs to have a title shot in the future against John Cena and win! Yeah I said win you Cena lovers!

Ok who is the 5^th person on my list? Ah Yoshi Tatsu!

Now where can I start with this young man? Ah yes he is actually a very good wrestler, he likes to incorporate wrestling with some

!  karate I think... He may just job on superstars but he is still young and needs to learn that patience is KEY in this business, you may not like waiting but his time will come eventually and then he’ll thank himself for waiting out.

He reminds me of an older version of Evan Bourne, he had to wait a long time for his shot to at least climb up on the ladder (he went from jobber to mid-carder). This is what Yoshi is going to have to do. But things do look good for Yoshi, he has a unique way of wrestling which I always like to see. The thing he lacks though is mic skills but he is always a fan favourite. There is two things I could suggest, make him a pro on NXT or let him team up with Goldust.
