Thank you all for tuning in to another fantastic edition of the Chaos Awards. Coming up to my 50th Article soon! I feel proud and blessed to have been brining you my articles for almost a year now.
Let’s hope I continue for a few more years to come!
Onto Business!
Best Match – None
I’ll be brutally honest. I have NO idea what to put as best match for this week.
This week completely sucked. The evidence… a) the crappy Monday Night Raw, b) the crappy Friday Night Smackdown and c) the crappy TNA Impact.
Honestly… wait I know what to give best match this week! About the only match that really made sense!
Best Match – Matt Hardy vs. Drew McIntyre
Because this match actually enhanced a rivalry that shouldn’t be taking place.
Matt Hardy deserves something better and Drew McIntyre can fall off the face of the planet and no one would care.
When said on his twitter for his fans to vote for him to see if he can stay or if he can go elsewhere… I wonder how many people told him to go to ROH? Probably none.
Anyway, Matt is fine where he is because he is in a decent rivalry. If he goes to TNA, he’ll be seen as the ‘former’ WWE talent coming in to try to keep what grasp of star power they have left.
I hope that Matt chooses to stay. He is a solid worker in the WWE. He should hopefully get another title run soon. He does deserve it… then again, Kane deserves another title run and… well… yeah this is a tough one. I’ll just leave this one alone for a while.
Worst Match – Kane vs. Sheamus
Nothing says “jobber to the stars” than to have a 6 minute match on Raw that means absolutely nothing in the entire context of the WWE. What makes this even worse is… the WWE Universe VOTED for Kane to be in this match.
ARE YOU GUYS RETARDS?!?!
The one thing I wanted to see is Bourne getting a push by beating ANOTHER former WWE Champion. So you make him job in the votes to Kane because Kane had a backstage altercation with Sheamus and now you want him to have a match. So you vote for Kane over Bourne.
It’s like dealing with a bunch of 6 year olds… oh wait they ARE a bunch of 6 year olds.
Sorry. I really didn’t like this match at all. Because this match will mean nothing in 3-4 weeks time.
Best Performer – Kane
Although I did just belittle his match above, at least he has been given a damn storyline (as lame as it is).
He’s been sitting on the shelf being a jobber to the up and comers (who aren’t up and comers the moment they stop facing him) and he’s pretty much been waiting for something to do. So finally, Mysterio breaks Undertaker’s nose. YAY! Undertaker is on the shelf so Kane has to fill his spot! But, why the vegetative state?
I know that Kane is going to milk this for all it is worth, so I’m glad that he is doing it, but I have a really really bad feeling that Ziggler or Zack Ryder is going to step forward and say “I did it. I took out your brother.” And if it is one of those two that comes forward to do it… they better be holding the World Title when they do say it.
Zack Ryder with the World Heavyweight Championship? Fat Chance of that happening this millennium.
Worst Performer – WWE Creative
I should just have “How WWE Creative screw up this week” or “How TNA Creative is making my throw up this week” instead of worst performer.
For some reason this week on Raw they decide to put together the tallest wrestler in the WWE with the shortest wrestler in the WWE.
Uh… normally opposites attract… NORMALLY. This time though? No.
This match between Khali and Hornswoggle against The Hart Dynasty is only a fill in mid card match to The Uso’s can do their run in on The Hart Dynasty which we have seen EVERY DAMN WEEK!!
How about The Uso’s have a match on Raw and The Hart Dynasty interferes? Or better yet, give us ANY match with the Uso’s in it so we can see how good they are that they think they can just run into the WWE and start picking on the top dogs of the WWE Tag Team Division?
No. This would mean actually making a mid card on Raw which is a big no-no according to the PG rules. Because it would take time away from a) the celebrities who are hosting the show and b) the main event which will go for 12 minutes after 5 minutes of entrances and its normally a tag match that the celebrity is involved on or has made up that night or the previous week.
All in all… it sucked.
Best Moment – Danielson getting fired from WWE
This is where I feel the complete weight of the Internet Wrestling Community shouting at me.
”WHAT?!”
Now before you start throwing lava lamps at on coming grandmas on scooters… let me explain.
Bryan Danielson is the best technical wrestler for the last FIVE YEARS. He has been the Most Outstanding Wrestler for the past FOUR YEARS. If he was going to come into the WWE, he should’ve come in 3 years ago when Cena was doing his year long run with the title and dethroned Cena making him the new top dog of the WWE.
Danielson had to work his way up from NXT! The show that sucks more than Paris Hilton with a night vision camera!
It was terrible to watch the best wrestler in the world for the last 4 years running have to go through that joke of a show.
Because he’s gone into NXT and he has that 90 day no-compete clause, he just lost any chance of being a 6 Time Best Technical Wrestler and 5 Time Most Outstanding Wrestler.
NXT was a mockery to find the best wrestlers in the world and put them through the lamest types of “games” to get them into the main roster.
Everyone BUT Danielson was signed to FCW.
Worst Moment – Hernandez returning
Don’t get me wrong, I wanted Hernandez to return. I just wanted him to do it when he wasn’t Matt Morgan’s “mystery partner”… HE WAS ALREADY HIS DAMN PARTNER!!
”But Nem! These two are going to go to the PPV and destroy each other!” Yes, I understand this. But all I can see is a failed opportunity at making this a HUGE rivalry smasher.
Matt Morgan takes on the TNA Tag Team Champions, The Band. The “mystery partner” is Eric Young from The Band.
So it’s Matt Morgan and Eric Young vs. Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. Matt Morgan has a three on one and starts to gain the upper hand… THEN Super Mex comes out and annihilates everyone in the ring setting up the match at Slammiversary.
Easier said than done right?
Chaotic Top 20
Evan Bourne tops the list again this week!
AJ Styles making a spirited comeback as he closes down the lead set by Randy Orton.
The Bottle Won't Open Rant.
I got a bit of feedback last week with my top ten matches and wrestlers of the decade.
Let me just point out to those who disputed my decisions… your opinion is different to mine. Therefore, it is wrong.
So earlier on I was proposed another question. Quite similar but yet, harder.
”Who is the greatest wrestler of All Time?”
Oh yes. This is the question I want.
Because for this, I am going to take into account not only the greatest matches that I have ever seen… but also the greatest names of the business of professional wrestling.
Bret Hart
When Bret left the WWE, he was part of a very elite group. A 5-Time WWE Champion.
One of the most talented performers in the ring of his time.
Eddie Guerrero
The man who idolised Latino Heat. Eddie Guerrero was only a WWE Champion once, but he will forever remain a champion in our hearts.
Bruno Sammartino
He held the WWE Championship for 8 straight years (2803 days). This still stands as the longest reign of a professional wrestling world championship in history.
Lou Thesz
From the earliest era of Wrestling, Lou Thesz was a name spoken in awe. He is the only male wrestler to wrestle in seven consecutive decades and had an average World Championship run of almost 3 years PER REIGN.
Ric Flair
The 16 time World Champion. The man who brought professional wrestling into the 80s, Flair was everything that came with wrestling from 1972 onwards. Ric Flair will always be remembered as a man who would always be wheelin’ dealin’, jet flying, WOOOO! Sorry, I’m getting carried away here. He will always be the man who you would have to beat to be the man.
Shawn Michaels
The best in ring performer of all time. Mr. Wrestlemania might have retired, but HBK will forever be remembered as the Icon. He’s a 3 Time WWE Champion and had his last run with a World Championship in 2002. Shawn is also setting a record… 6 straight years he has won PWI “Match of the Year” and he’s won the award overall 10 times. Truly, one of the greatest ever.
Kenta Kobashi & Mitsuharu Misawa
Now, if you don’t watch NJPW or ROH, you won’t know who these two guys are.
These guys have had the most number of 5 star matches in the last 20 years than everyone else has had combined.
Kenta is still competing today and is the only person in my list who is still active while Mitsuharu is no longer with us. He died in the ring as one of the greatest wrestlers to ever walk this earth.
Truly, these men are the greatest of all.

only one slightly wrong..Jesse Neal by DQ...good call on the predictions btw...suprised you chose michaels in your all time list and not taker...not that i'm his biggest fan but he has always seems to be able to reinvent himself every ten years and there is never (usually) a dull PPV when he was involved. Good article though dude.
