Greetings One and Everyone!
I apologize for this article in advance. It’s almost 1:30am my time and I’m still typing this up as you are reading this line. It almost seems weird that you are reading this while I am typing and saying this out in my head imagining that you are reading it. Tripped out? Yes? Good.
Just around the corner from TNA No Surrender and I am looking forward to the PPV with much… umm… okay there is no anticipation. I only want to watch the MCMG match and then fall asleep. Much like every other TNA PPV this year.
Anyway, onto business!
Best Match – Jack Swagger vs. MVP
…
Okay, I’m lying.
I can’t think of a best match for this week so I have two worst matches.
This should’ve been a massive promo instead of a match. Maybe the VIP Lounge again? Anyone? Creative?
There wasn’t a need for this to take place. Considering that these two ALREADY went at it this time last year. There is no need to continue the feud. Neither of them got injured or released, both of them just didn’t have anyone else to work with. So Creative shoved them back together.
I’ve got no problem with them being rivals. I have a problem about how stale the rivalry is.
Next time you are listening to them doing promos… listen to how dead the crowd is. A sure indication that the rivalry is going well is to see how many people stand up to get more popcorn.
Worst Match – Sheamus vs. Zack Ryder (WWE Championship)
Wow. I thought I know what Raw was up to… until I saw this match.
Actually, I read the spoilers.
How far has Zack Ryder crashed down the ladder? Seriously. He’s just had a WWE Championship match that lasted one move and was 10 seconds long. Zack has some talent. He was an Edgehead and a Tag Team Champion for crying out loud. Now it looks like he is on the back burner because they don’t know where to use him.
Just on the note of the match, I know what I have wanted to see…
Sheamus vs. A Wild Boar.
Book it!
Best Performer – Mr. Anderson
You can tell that they are grooming him to be the next champ. It’s almost blatantly obvious. Although, would that be a bad thing if he did become champion?
Let us look at the final 4…
Kurt Angle is looking to retire/take time off. I know that his TNA contract expires in 2011 but he might end it a year early because he is needing more surgery and wanting to spend more *cough* quality time *cough* with his new partner. So I’d say that he’d want to go out with a bang at Bound For Glory.
Jeff Hardy won’t become TNA Champion. He’s been with the company twice, been #1 contender countless times and never become champion. Sorry, it isn’t happening anytime soon.
”The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero is improving with leaps and bounds but I’m just not sure that he is ready to step up just yet. He’s already had one go at the gold this year, let’s say that he’s going to lose.
Mr. Anderson is the most logical choice. He is the high profile star that is continually getting a push and I think that he will have the “final encounter” match with Kurt Angle at Bound For Glory.
Surprisingly, it will be only the 2nd time that Sting will not main event Bound For Glory in the companies PPV history.
Worst Performers – LayCool & The Beautiful People
Wow this is a cross company rivalry that I really want to keep my eyes on.
Of course, I am lying through my teeth.
Are they going to split these girls up eventually? It is getting annoying having them EVERYWHERE all over BOTH companies. LayCool is genuinely annoying but for all of the wrong reasons. Yes, I understand that they are heels… HOW?! I would’ve thought that they would’ve split them up after Layla won the championship at Fatal 4 Way. Nope. They just cut the belt in two pieces and make it COMPLETELY REDUNDANT on the show that it is currently on.
Hopefully they are unifying the two titles, making a new belt and reinstating the Cruiserweight/Hardcore Title or bringing in a new one to restore some credibility to Smackdown.
And now with WWE talk over, lets get onto The Beautiful People.
Why are these girls back together? I get it… they are the original. But seriously, why not have one of two things.
Velvet breaks away from Lacey and Madison but the TNA Knockout Tag Team Titles remain with TBP so Velvet joins Angelina and they have a go at claiming them.
OR
Velvet breaks away from The Beautiful People because she is sick of them losing all the time so Velvet FINALLY gets her shot at the Knockouts Title.
Best Moment – London Brawling Promo
Sorry that it might not seem like the best moment of the week. But I have it there for two reasons.
1. How many pairs of sunglasses does Magnus own? I counted 3, but there were probably about 40 in his pockets. He was wearing a pair of sunglasses and then had another pair in between the buttons on his v-neck shirt… just weird but that’s funny.
2. Chelsea with the no-limit credit card. SHE’LL BANKRUPT TNA! STOP HER!
$5,000 later and TNA goes down the toilet. Pity… at least we know who to blame now.
Anyway, is it just me or does Chelsea have the personality and acting skills of a plant? She looks 91% plastic, 7% silicon and 2% make-up and she sounds like she has the IQ of a sock.
Can someone remind me why this is my best moment again?
Worst Moment – Bourne going back to jobber
And if you look to your right you will see the stadium full of current and former stars who were given the push by WWE and then had the carpet pulled out from underneath them so they can go back to being a jobber to the stars… oh we see Evan Bourne trying to escape but he is easily surrounded up by the security guards. The electrocuted fence seems to be doing its job. It seems that everyone is still worshipping the shrine of John Cena they build back in 2004, who has been the only man to escape this stadium in the last 7 years.…
Why would you give Evan Bourne the backwards push?
The one man that you know is big from how the crowd explodes when they hear his theme music. Did you hear it when he was announced as number 2 for the Royal Rumble? I can’t wait for this years rumble. Actually I can wait because it will be someone who has already won the WWE Championship.
Anyway, Evan deserves this push more than Lindsay Lohan deserves more jail time. Hurry up and give it to him.

The Bottle Won't Open Rant
I am starting to get annoyed with the “face” Khali. This is the tallest guy in the WWE (and the guy with the largest jaw in the WWE) and he’s a face. Why not turn him heel? Oh yes, that’s right. *laughs* stupid me… he’s injured.
I understand Khali does have limited in ring potential… but remember back in 2006/07 when he could only be beaten by Batista or Undertaker? Everyone else was just dominated by him… probably because they made him look good, but it was because WWE built him up so much and made him look like the complete unstoppable force.
Honestly, I think the age of the “monster” is dead. The larger athletes are only getting their push if they can get over with the fans and even then, it isn’t really that much.
Let me prove my point.
Top Faces on Raw: John Cena (240 lbs), Randy Orton (245 lbs), Evan Bourne (183 lbs), John Morrison (223 lbs).
Top Heels on Raw: Sheamus (272 lbs), Chris Jericho (226 lbs), Edge (250 lbs), The Miz (231 lbs).
The current top “monster” in the WWE is Kane. He’s on Smackdown and he’s 323 lbs. So where are all of the monsters that have gotten over?
Yes, Khali was champion in 2007… when he was heel. Big Show was Unified Tag Team Champion last year and earlier this year… when he was heel. Mark Henry was ECW Champion… when he was heel. Kane is currently World Champion… and guess what? He’s heel.
(I can’t call Sheamus a monster because he’s about the same size as Triple H and that’s self explanatory)
Anyway, my point is, unless the WWE can actually push someone that gets over with the fans that is above 290 lbs, then I guess we’ll never really see another monster in the WWE that can have the opportunity to main event.
But on a lighter note… It is good that we have One-Shoulder-Orton, Superman Cena, Jobber Bourne and Marty Jennetty Morrison there for Monday Night Raw, otherwise Raw will be run over with Santino, Kozlov and Khali…
…
I just threw up in my mouth a little bit…
