Chaos Non-Awards: WWE Over the Limit Predictions!

Greetings one and everyone!

I am The Nemesis along with Angel of Desire, The Bouncer and Phenom The Vampire Lord presenting the PPV Predictions for Over the Limit!

WWE Championship – I Quit Match:

AoD:
Well, this feud kinda bores me now, its gone on a bit too long and also it features Boretista.

Now, current rumours say that Boretista is leaving the WWE very soon, but also interestingly this match was originally a “Loser Leaves WWE” match but was changed to an I Quit Match, so that makes me think there could possibly be a swerve.
Anywho, I don't really want Boretista to add any more title belts to his collection (one belt was too many) so I'll go with The Champ still being here.

Magic 8 Ball question: Will Boretista bore me?
Magic 8 Ball answer: Without a Doubt

Nem: Well. I sort of agree with AoD. This hasn’t gone off to the extreme standards that a rivalry should have. It started off with “I broke your neck two years ago and I told you not to mess with me! Now I’m Mr. McMahon’s security guard so I can do what I want!”
It won’t end this way… look for a “You’re fired” match on Raw the next night!

Phenom: Cena will never ever EVER say I quit because we all know we should never quit. Isn’t that right, kids? Plus Batista has his movie thing going on so…

Bouncer: John Cena Vs. Batista for the WWE Championship? What were the WWE creative on when they thought that this match would be good for the company? Well whatever they have been on for the past few years. If I had to choose, well I think everybody knows who will win.

World Heavyweight Championship

AoD: I haven't watched Smackdown since … well... I can’t recall, but anyway this match sees Big Slow take on “The All American American American” Sylvester The Cat...
Now, it doesn't matter how much of a threat you build Big Slow up to be, he never seems able recently to win the big one. Also as Sylvester seems to be the choice to lead Smackdown at the moment I don't see that changing, so again the belt stays on the same guy that walks in with it.

Magic 8 Ball question: Will Sylvester stomp around and shout “Sufferin' Succotash”?
Magic 8 Ball answer: My sources say no

Nem: The All American American Oklahoman takes on Big Show. I don’t care who wins I’ll be happy either way.
I’d like to see Big Show walk away with the gold, but I don’t think Sthwagger is losing the title this early.

Phenom: You can’t gutwrench powerbomb the big show so, at over the limit Jack will lose, but win the title back at fatal 4 way.

Bouncer: Jack Swagger deserves the world title. Big Show was just drafted to Smackdown and already gets a title shot when Mike Knox NEVER got a shot. Also, Snitsky never got a world title shot on RAW. Who should win? Jack Swagger should win.

Intercontinental Championship

AoD:
Again, without seeing Smackdown in forever, I'm not sure exactly what's going on with these two. Yes I am a Drew McIntyre mark and have been for a while since seeing him in OVW, plus from the same “locale” as me I have to stick my money on the Scottish Sensation... Plus Kofi's push seems to have gone in the past year.

Magic 8 Ball question: Will Drew McIntyre ever come out to Scotland The Brave?
Magic 8 Ball answer: Better not tell you now (… useless piece of … gah!!)

Nem: Now… If everyone read Chaos Awards Vol. 32, you will understand my frustration with this match. I would much rather drink battery acid than see Drew McIntyre as Intercontinental Champion.
But I can’t pick against him in this match. I don’t know why but I can not see Kofi walking out of Over the Limit as IC Champion.

Phenom: Kofi’s turning heel and the best way to do so is by losing to Drew in a questionable way. Plus people backstage don’t want to work with Drew so they’ll just let him keep the title until someone is willing to break his neck in a match with the chosen one.

Bouncer: Why isn't this Dolph Ziggler Vs. Christian? Oh yea, it might be too entertaining for the fans. Drew McIntyre is an OK performer; I will not bash on him. Kofi on the other hand is without a doubt, Smackdown's worst performer. Drew has held the Intercontinental Championship for long enough, so WWE creative will have him lose most likely. But then again, his feud with Matt Hardy could end with Matt winning the belt. Wait never mind, Matt Hardy is just a jobber now.

Tag Team Championship

AoD:
A very hard match for me to predict, on one side you have The Miz (who is AWESOME!!!) and THE best promo guy and wrestler in the WWE today, Chris Jericho and on the other side you have The Hart Dynasty who very much deserve their push regardless of the situation with Bret.
However, with Miz recently losing the US title I could possibly see them putting the Tag belt back on him, but in my mind it would be more interesting if he loses this match to rack up another loss to a member of the Hart family. Either way, I don't see this being the end of the Miz / Harts feud.

Magic 8 Ball question: Will Nattie Neidhart grow a beard in homage to her dad Jim?
Magic 8 Ball answer: Signs look good.

Nem: Apart from The Dudebusters and the Bella Twins, Hart Dynasty is the only tag team that has been together for longer than a year. They are the best tag team in the WWE. So if you make them transitional champions… you have lost your freaking mind!

Phenom: Apparently there’s a rumor going on backstage according to which
Jericho and Miz will win. And I don’t see why not. That’s the Vince way of doing things (especially since Bret Hart’s contract is almost up)

Bouncer: Once again Miz is back in the tag title hunt and so is
Jericho. Hart Dynasty is 2 thirds a good team (Tyson is the weak link). Most likely, Bryan Danielson will find a teammate and go for the tag titles against Miz (which will defeat the purpose of having NXT). In other words, I just said who will win.

Divas Championship

AoD: Don't know, don't care.... next!!!

Magic 8 Ball Question: Will I be going to the loo during this match?
Magic 8 Ball answer: Most likely

Nem: Toilet break. AoD pass me another bottle of Vanilla Coke will ya?

Phenom: RAW? DIVAS? Hair and screaming.

Bouncer: Who cares about diva storylines now that it is PG?

Pledge Vs Hair

AoD: I'm going to be very biased on this, as I LOVE CM Punk, especially heel CM Punk and I completely LOATHE Mysterio with his flippy-floppy acrobatic nonsense.
I still think WWE dropped the ball at Mania having Punk lose, but still, more Punk on my TV = A good thing.
I also thought it would've been an awesome move to have Punk somehow induct Rey's kids into the SES and shave their heads, would've pushed him into Uber-heel territory... but anyway, I see Punk winning, then a major SES beat-down on Rey as he refuses to join, putting him out of action to heal from some injury he probably has.

Magic 8 Ball question: Will Mysterio's entrance botch up again?
Magic 8 Ball answer: Not a chance.

Nem: To be brutally honest… I DON’T CARE!
This rivalry SHOULD have ended at Wrestlemania… not continued on with various repetitive stipulations and the crap that has gone on for the last 2 months.
I honestly don’t care… but I’m beginning to like the Jesus look that Punk has, I hope that he doesn’t lose it.

Phenom: The masked man will attack Rey again and MVP will come out and help Rey and the Mexican Warrior will win.

Bouncer: Can anybody see Rey Mysterio possibly losing this match and joining The Straight-Edge Society? Yea that's what I thought. It is completely obvious who will win this match, no matter the circumstances the winner of this match will find a ridiculous way to win this match.

Randy Orton vs. Edge

AoD: Again, another hard one to choose. Now up until a year or so ago, I despised Orton, I thought HE (the person, not the character) was an ego-driven idiot. That was until listening to a few interviews with him and also the work he's done in the past year. Also I'm kind of glad they haven't turned him face yet, as last time they done that it went down like a lead balloon... Heel Orton works so well and I hope they keep him that way for the time being.
Though Edge has indeed turned face, it works for him for now, although again I preferred heel Edge, and the whole “Spear...spear...spear” thing has me tearing my hair out.
But as this feud has just really started, I see Orton taking the win here, then a rematch at the next PPV.

Magic 8 Ball question: Will we ever see a full E&C reunion?
Magic 8 Ball answer: Most likely

Nem: I admit, I liked Edge as a face. But I LOVE him as a heel. By the way, AoD hasn’t watched WWE Programming in a while so don’t go off at him for saying that he got Orton and Edge mixed up.
Orton’s pattern since HIAC has been Win-Loss-Loss, Win-Loss-Loss, Win-Loss… So by the pattern, he is losing to Edge. I’d say Orton will win… but Edge will get himself Disqualificatied somehow.

Phenom: Randy will lose one way or another. Maybe he’ll win but the new Raw GM, Vickie Guerrero, will restart the match and Edge will win. Maybe Edge will do something sneaky. I don’t know because I’m not the ultimate being around here.

Bouncer: I hate Randy Orton. He is a horrible WWE star. Edge is a good example of how Randy should be. I am glad that Rated RKO did not reform. Edge should definitely win this match.

Ted DiBiase Jr vs. R-Truth

AoD: Did you know: I HATE R-Truth!!! More than I hate Mysterio!... I hated him as K-Kwik, hated him as Ron Killings and still hate him now. The guy is overrated and simply bores me to death.
Then you have Ted DiBiase Jr, yeah the guy could be better in his promo work, his ring skills are pretty decent and I'm glad he doesn't ride on his father's popularity too much unlike some wrestlers have *cough*David Flair*cough*, also the addition of Virgil is an interesting one and could benefit him to some degree.

Magic 8 Ball question: Will R-Truth make my ears bleed with his singing?
Magic 8 Ball answer: All signs point to yes

Nem: To be honest, I have no clue why this is on the PPV. It started from absolutely nothing and resulted in the biggest waste of dump on Raw this year.

Phenom: Ted will win because…well because he has to move up, start challenging for the
United States title. Plus, WWE will NEVER push R-Truth.

Bouncer: This will be the match of the night. They are having 2 underrated people fight. WWE is trying a new thing by having good matches at the PPV's. Like last PPV had Shad Vs. JTG. This should be the main event for Over The Limit. I do not care who wins this match because it will be a good match. However, the WWE creative always manages to make matches that seem good end up being horrible. Hopefully this will end up being a good match. Ah crap now I have to decide who will win.
