Hello to you all, and welcome to the 2nd edition of Cullen's Corner, with your host, none other than Chris Legend! I hope you all enjoyed the first edition, because this one will be even better! As with the last one, this will feature the same things. A few hot topics, a few awards, and a recap of wrestling all week long. I don't wish to keep you waiting, so, without further adieu, here is the 2nd edition of Cullen's Corner: Now with half the fat of a regular article, and only 1/3 of the calories! Let's move right on into the topics of the week... RIP Lillian! Wait...you mean she's not dead? Well, what the hell? She's just quitting? Well now. That's no fun. Way to go, WWE. Always killing my buzz. Either way, she'll be missed. She's been with WWE for almost 10 years now, and has been around longer than most of today's “top stars” such as Randy Orton, Batista, John Cena, etc. She's been the voice of a generation, and most of today's teenage, to young adult, viewers will remember her as the voice of Raw for a long time to come, myself included. So, even though she's not dead...*grumbles something about his resources*...it will be impossible to forget her. So, from myself, and the rest of TWG, best of luck to Lillian in the future! And, on a side note, she's getting married this week...so, again, good luck! Back to Hell! Let's rewind to Breaking Point, in the main event. CM Punk beat the Undertaker, after he “tapped” out to the Anaconda Vise. But, before that, Punk tapped to the Hell's Gate, but, good 'ole Teddy Long reminded us all that it was made an illegal move by Vickie Guerrero. Okay, back to present. Friday night, just over 2 weeks since that happened, and now Teddy has announced that the Hell's Gate isn't illegal anymore. Thanks, Teddy. You could've told us that 3 weeks ago, and you would have saved yourself the trouble of being hunted down by the Deadman *gets a call from his resources* Oh...right...that wouldn't have been good for ratings. Riiight.. Regardless, this means one thing. We can expect to see a new World Heavyweight Champion at Hell in a Cell. Because, now that the “deadly” move is legal again, we can count on Punk tapping to it. Yay...Taker will be Champ for the umpteenth billion time. Anyone else tired of him yet? No? It's just me? Surely that can't be right. I want to hold a poll. The results will posted in my next edition. Here is the question: Should Taker retire? Yes or No. Simple answer. Anyway, let's move on to the next segment: The Golden Cullen Awards! As with last week, there will be several awards given out. So, let's get right to it. Best Match of the Week: John Cena/MVP/Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton/Chris Jericho/Big Show – Monday Night RAW I'm about 200% sure that I will catch a lot of heat for this pick, but I don't care. This was an excellent match. All of the competitors worked well together, and it added fuel to both feuds, and I can't wait to see them develop a bit more. Of course, I am tired of seeing both, but this made it slightly less painful to watch. “Take a Break” Match of the Week: Cedric the Entertainer vs. Chavo Guerrero Why is this match even happening? Is WWE so desperate for ratings that they are booking untrained celebrities in matches...and having them win? No one wants to see that! Let's get Chavo out of the “Joblight” and into the Spotlight. Please! And, all of that earns this the “Let's get up and take a leak” Match of the Week award. Shocker of the Week: WWE Superstars had FOUR Matches! Wow! That is surprising! They actually added a FOURTH match! What's next? Entertainment? Woah there...let's hope for one miracle at a time. Regardless, I'm still estatic that they added a 4th match to this lack luster show. Sad Panda Moment of the Week: Lillian Garcia leaving RAW. Yes, as I said earlier, this is a sad moment for us all. Lillian was the voice of a generation, and will be missed by us all. To Ms. (soon to be Mrs.) Garcia, I, myself, and all of TWG wish you the best in your future, and hope you will always remember where you got started. Time for a 21 gun salute...*phone rings*...wait...she's STILL not dead? Are you kidding me? How many times am I going to get this wrong? Sheesh. Superstar of the Week: Tie between Christian and (again) AJ Styles. I'm sure you guys have figured out that I'm a huge AJ Styles fan, and this week, seeing him step into the Impact! Zone, wearing that TNA World Title, just made me mark out. He always puts on a good show, and has never disappointed me. My other pick, however, is current ECW Champion, Christian. He has seen all kinds of hell recently, including multiple attacks from William Regal's cronies. He's been involved in 2 great matches in the past 2 weeks, including a successful defense against Zack Ryder. And, he, and AJ, are both very deserving of this award. Let's hold another poll. From now on, YOU ALL will get to choose the Superstar of the Week! Give me your best votes, and I will tally them up, and announce the winner next week! So, don't forget, GIVE ME YOUR VOTE! And finally, let's get to the...*phone rings again*...Sponsers? Shouldn't you guys tell me before signing these things? Ugh. Fine. You win. I'll promote them. Ladies and gentlemen, this week's Cullen's Corner is brought to you by Industrial Strength Clown Kickers, by Nike! These babies are tough enough to kick a crowd of clowns, and still have room for leftovers! Go buy some now! Only 20 payments of $19.99! Not available in stores! Or anywhere for that matter! Anyway, now that that's over, shall we get back to business? Good, I thought so. Recap time! Well start form Monday, and work our way to Friday! WWE Monday Night RAW! - Triple H vs. Cody Rhodes (No contest) - The Miz def. Evan Bourne - Beth Phoenix def. Divas Champion Mickie James - United States Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger (No contest) - Cedric the Entertainer def. Chavo Guerrero - Randy Orton & Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show def. WWE Champion John Cena, MVP & Mark Henry. Show Rating: 6.5/10 Very lackluster RAW. The Cedric vs. Chavo match made me want to punt puppies. Seriously, I hate you right now WWE. WWE Tuesday Night ECW! - Yoshi Tatsu def. Paul Burchill - Ezekiel Jackson & Vladimir Kozlov def. local competitors - ECW Champion Christian def. Zack Ryder (ECW Title Match) Show Rating: 8/10 It's a cold day in hell when ECW is actually a better show than RAW. I loved the ECW Title match, and I'm always impressed by Yoshi Tatsu. If ECW keeps this up, I may not turn them off halfway through the show every week. TNA Thursday Night Impact! - Suicide def. D’Angelo Dinero - Anything Goes No Disqualification Street Fight - Rhino vs. Brother Devon (Double Countout) - TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Sarita & Taylor Wilde def. ODB & Tara (Knockouts Tag Titles) - X Division Champion Samoa Joe def. Daniels & Homicide ( X Division Title) - Matt Morgan & Hernandez def. Kurt Angle & Eric Young - Bobby Lashley def. Jethro Holliday - TNA World Tag Team Champions Scott Steiner & Booker T def. Mick Foley & Abyss (World Tag Team Titles) TNA is always a good show to watch, lately, and I'm surprised they had less than 10 matches. It was a good show, but not as good as it could have been. WWE Thursday Night SuperStars! - Primo def. Chris Masters - Goldust def. William Regal by Disqualification - Women’s Champion Michelle McCool & Layla def. Melina & Maria - Matt Hardy def. Kane by Disqualification Show Rating: 4/10 Yawn. Is Superstars ever good? No? I didn't think so. It's just a failed way for WWE to win over TNA fans. Again, yawn. WWE Friday Night SmackDown! - Intercontinental Champion John Morrison & Finlay def. Dolph Ziggler & Mike Knox - Kane def. Slam Master J - Batista def. Big Show (Disqualification) - David Hart Smith def. JTG - World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk def. Undertaker (Count-out) Show Rating: 6/10 This was another week of the same stuff. Punk and Taker...Hart Dynasty and Cryme Tyme...nothing new, nothing good. Why is ECW the best thing in WWE right now? Well, ladies and germs, this has been yet another edition of Cullen's Corner. I hope you've enjoyed this edition, as I enjoyed writing it. I also hope that you will join me next week, for issue number 3! Until then, remember: Kicking a clown a day keeps the doctors away! Peace! PS: DON'T FORGET TO CAST YOUR SUPERSTAR OF THE WEEK VOTES!!!
Show Rating: 7/10
i bote yes for the poll. but he is a good wrestler so thats the saver.
for star i say AJ. no contest.
For this week i agree with you a hundred precent the 6 man was the match because i have found almost always 6 mans and 8 mans are usually the best worked matches on a show.
can not wait for the next article and see your opinion on 10 years of smackdowns

Isn't it astounding how Christian beats ryder again this week? And taker should retire, and someone else will play the deadman (That or end him when his streak goes 20-0)

*Undertaker 19-1 in WrestleMania matches, retires that night.
Hernandez had a good showing against Angle on TNA this week ...
*Just a guess, a possibility, not actuality!

Good writing, i enjoyed it

I agree with most of your opinions, but you need to work on your writing. It's a bit rambling and poorly worded. I'm guessing you're pretty young, and I hope you stick with it, because this column could be good once you've had a bit of practice.
For your first poll, I agree with the first commenter. Undertaker should retire at Wrestlemania so he can put someone over in a big way. Who that someone should be, I couldn't tell you (but hopefully not a heel--because the fans would never forgive them).
Poll #2 (Superstar of the week): It really hasn't been a very good week for wrestling, but I would say John Morrison. That guy has come a long way in the past few weeks.

John Morrison for Superstar of the Week and Taker to retire when he loses a Wrestlemania match.
Once again, a good article Cullen..but you owe me 1.3 billion mudkipz -_-

"Taker will be Champ for the umpteenth billion time."
That didn't sound quite right so I looked it up. Taker has had 6 World title reigns for a total of 305 days. That equals out to a HUGH grand average of him haveing the title for 16 days per year since he has been in the WWF(since 1990). I'd rather see him have a real title reign that these no talents punks they got runnin around nowdays.

nice article.
I currently beleive, despite what people say about his health, he shouldn't retire if he wants to continue with his career. When he stops wanting to wrestle then he should retire because he is in bad health and still has the rest of his life.
I think John Cena s the best superstar of the week.

Superstar of the week absolute no doubt Christian he has been on fire lately
Posted by Danny Danger on Saturday, October 03, 2009
Yea, Taker should retire AFTER wrestlemania where he pushes some GOOD new talent...Best superstar: Christian, luv that guy, always luved him and luving him right now, he is pure win.
Nice job Legend.

i think taker retires at survivor series because thats where he debuted
Posted by r-v on Saturday, October 03, 2009
I hate taker... he should had retire before he ruined Edge's carear... Taker sucks... he can't even wrestle anymore... he just give punches and finishers,he win every match the same way with nothing new at all... and he never lose! he is the most over-rated wrestler in history (except Hulk Hogan of course)....
Posted by NLB on Saturday, October 03, 2009
give taker another 2-3 years....
Posted by bombjack on Saturday, October 03, 2009
superstar of the week should be Dolph Ziggler
£10 says ziggler is IC champ in hell in a cell
Posted by Ziggler fan on Saturday, October 03, 2009
poll#1 Let him mabye go 20-0 then get beat down so bad that he has to retire

I'll have you know that Superstars has had FIVE matches on it at one point. None of them were very good, but I covered it nonetheless :D
Good stuff anyway, polls-wise I'd agree with Christian this week, I think, and Taker's got another year or so left in him. He'll probably want to retire while his limbs are all still functioning... which means he's not got long left in the ring
Posted by The General on Saturday, October 03, 2009
Taker will be Champ for the umpteenth billion time.
He didn't get so many titles, you know?
