I’m back with my last title picture article in WWE. What will I be talking about after I am finished with all of my title picture articles? That is for you all to find out. In this article I am going to talk about who and why ECW wrestlers deserve the ECW Championship. As you all have noticed I start off with the champion and the contender (s) first. One more thing, keep in mind I don’t count WCW titles. Well with that said, let’s get started.

O YEA, Matt Hardy is the champion. I am glad seeing Matt Hardy as the ECW champion, but he currently looks weak. Matt Hardy only defended against Evan Bourne and Mark Henry. Though Mark Henry is the world’s strongest man, many have defeated Mark Henry so you know what I mean. Matt Hardy has held The United States Championship one time, The WWE Tag Team Championship one time (with M.V.P.), The Hardcore Championship one time, The Cruiserweight Championship one time, The European Championship one time, of course The World Tag Team Championship six times (with of course Jeff Hardy), and is of course reining as the ECW Championship holder (this is his first time). Matt Hardy was given the United States Championship too early after his knee injury. Matt Hardy gets injured, then a few weeks after his return he wins The United States Championship. I didn’t like that. Matt Hardy winning the scramble match was a good idea, and his fights with Mark Henry were epic. This is Matt Hardy’s first world title, and I am glad it was won in a major match, but I think he should drop the ECW Championship at Armageddon. Even though Matt Hardy greatly deserves The ECW Championship, he is getting stale as the champion.

Although this man is injured, Evan Bourne is on the list. Why did Evan Bourne already get a shot at a world title? Why was Evan Bourne even one of the contenders? I don’t know, but I will tell you my arguments. Evan Bourne is too young to the business to get a world title shot, yet 69% of the people voted for him to face Matt Hardy. That is sad. When Finlay and Mark Henry are contenders, the fans chose to vote for the new-to-business Evan Bourne. Don’t get me wrong, I am not mad nor do I hate Evan Bourne, I am just surprised that he got more votes than two wrestling legends. Personally, I would not have voted for Evan Bourne.

Six percent of the votes goes to “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry. Although I would not have voted for Mark Henry, I would have expected more votes than that. Mark Henry has held The ECW Championship one time, and The European Championship one time. Mark Henry is very talented. He is among MY top fifteen powerhouses. Mark Henry deserves another shot at a major title, that is all I have to say about Mark Henry.

His name is Finlay, and he loves to fight. Finlay is a one time United States Championship holder. Finlay is an tremendous athlete, performer, and has good storylines. I do not like the Finlay/ Hornswoggle gimmick. I personally hate it, I have no problem with short people, it is just that Hornswoggle should not even be in WWE. If WWE is going to have Hornswoggle just run and run from his opponents, just take him out of WWE. Let’s get back to Finlay. Finlay is perfect world championship material. This is his fourth year in WWE (again I do not care about WCW) and he is overdue for a title shot. The Elimination Chamber, Money In The Bank, Scramble, and Royal Rumble match I wouldn’t even count those as title shots. Finlay has competed in all of those matches, I am counting this years Royal Rumble match, but has not won any. I remember in the year 2000 Royal Rumble, Al Snow used his toy head as a weapon; he did not get disqualified. In the 2007 Royal Rumble, there was a chair and a table involved, no one got disqualified. In the 2008 Royal Rumble, Finlay got disqualified for using his shillelagh. I find that bad, that is the problem right now. If Finlay got disqualified for coming out early I would understand, but I specifically hear Jim Ross say “I have just been notified that Finlay has been disqualified for using his shillelagh.” Due to that fact that Finlay was able to control his anger, he deserves a shot, and also for the fact that he is a legend. Mark Henry versus Finlay versus Matt Hardy at Armageddon for the ECW Championship, HERE IS YOUR WINNER AND NEEEEEEEEEEEW CHAMPION, FINLAY.

The biggest joke on this list, who I have nothing good to say about, *sigh* Hornswoggle. I know you all on the comments are going to say “ HORNSWOGGLE?!?!”, and this time I do not blame you for that. Hornswoggle is untalented, unentertaining, and annoying, but by the looks of things Hornswoggle is going to ruin another title just like he did with one of my favorite titles, The Cruiserweight Championship. Hornswoggle has even made The Great Khali look bad. Since he ruined The Cruiserweight Championship, why not ruin The WWE Championship, the WWE Tag Team Championship, and my favorite title, the ECW Championship. By the looks of things, Hornswoggle, who is a one time Cruiserweight Championship holder, is going to ruin more titles. The reason why he is on this list is because WWE looks desperate. I do not want to talk about Hornswoggle again any time soon, so I will stop here.

My favorite current ECW makes this list for having one of the most impressive legacy. This man is a FOURTEEN time Hardcore champion (impressive), a one time ECW Heavyweight Championship, and a three time ECW World Tag Team Championship. The man is an ECW original, he is called the Innovator Of Violence, TOMMY DREAMER. Tommy Dreamer’s last title shot (I do not count the Scramble qualifying match) is when he fought Mark Henry for the ECW Championship, with a failed turn for Colin Delaney. That heel turn was SO pathetic that they had to fire Colin Delaney. After that Tommy Dreamer jobbed to tons of other wrestlers. Tommy Dreamer versus Jack Swagger for a title match at Survivor Series, where Tommy Dreamer prevails. Tommy Dreamer versus Matt Hardy at Armageddon, HERES YOUR WINNER AND NEEEEEEEEEEEEEW CHAMPION, THE INNOVATOR OF VIOLENCE, TOMMY DREAMER.

Now listen open your eyes and see, John Morrison is not the champ?!?! John Morrison is one of MY favorite heels. Although since he is a heel and most of you hate him and think he has no talent, think again. John Morrison (Johnny Nitro) is a one time ECW Champion, The WWE Tough Enough 3 winner, a two time Intercontinental Championship holder, and a four time WWE Tag Team champion. I personally like Johnny Nitro better than John Morrison. I do not like the fact that he is just copying Jim Morrison, but I like the person and the performer himself, I just do not like his gimmick. John Morrison has excellent storylines, feuds, segments, even though all three of those words have something in common, he still has that. What he lacks is respect. Hardly anyone respects the tremendous “The Shaman of Sexy” John Morrison. I feel uncomfortable calling another guy that. I feel like I need to…. never mind inappropriate for this, but you know what I mean. John Morrison deserves a BETTER push due to the fact that he is a good performer. John Morrison versus Matt Striker at Survivor Series for a title shot, where John Morrison wins. John Morrison versus Matt Hardy at Armageddon. HERE IS YOUR WINNER AND NEEEEEEEEEEEEW CHAMPION JOHN MORRISON.

That is how I feel what should happen at Survivor Series and Armageddon. I am sorry, but this is my last article on title pictures. I am proud of all four of them (including this one), although I had a lot of haters and mistakes, just like they say “everyone is a critic”. I would like to thank all the people who have posted hate comments, it motivates me, and of course the people who post motivating comments. Remember these are opinions, and all of these are possible outcomes of what could happen, so when you become a columnist, post whatever you want, but before I leave I am going to talk about one wrestler who is not quite ready for a title, but HE IS THE BOOGEYMAN AND HE IS COMING TO GET A TITLE. This man is my second favorite ECW superstar, he has never held a title for ECW. He is more comedic than title material, but I would like to see him get drafted to RAW to beat Santino Marella at Royal Rumble (in a one fall match) for the Intercontinental Championship. The Boogeyman deserves that kind of treatment. Now this concludes my article, until next time, goodbye.

Sir, you need to think again. Everything I see people saying on this site points to the fact that they LOVE John Morrison AND his character. You are the only one who seems to have issues with the role he plays. At least we can all agree he's badass. However its kind of insulting you'd assume most people don't like him because he is a heel. Verify the truth behind your opinions on other people on the site before stating them.

The biggest involvement that Finlay really had on a title picture was during Benoit vs Booker T best of seven back in the WCW days. They didn't want to bounce the television title back and forth between the two so they gave it to Finlay for a couple weeks.

crazy dude, umm Sabu is to old now and hes showing it in the ring, sorry man but hes not as good as he used to although i would like to see Dreamer as champ he wont be because he's was never that interested in winning championships, in the old ECW he never wanted the title but he defended it with honor. If you show passion then you deserve a title shot, Finley should be the next champ in my opinon but i might go to someone else.

I forgot to include this, but there was no way in hell Bourne was or is getting a major title that quickly, but he would've continued to get title shots because he's incredibley over with the fans, and pushing him more and more is just a good idea.

Finlay and Mark Henry, wrestling LEGENDS? nuh-uh. Evan Bourne deserves the title more than Hardy does. The fans voted Bourne in due to them actually "liking" his athletic ability.

Finlay doesn't need a title reign, he's really focused as a jobber in the WWE, he's bland to the fans, so they paired him up with Hornswoggle, who has a nice pop every now and again.

Henry only won the ECW Championship due to Michael Hayes' comments. He's not getting it again.

Morrison needs to be drafted to one of the bigger brands like a return to RAW, he has the potential to be a future WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Boogeyman will get a reign sooner or later.

Tommy Dreamer...c'mon man. Jack Swagger has a better chance than Dreamer.

No, Hornswoggle will never ever get the ECW Championship, unless Vince wants to spit in Paul Heyman's face...again.

So yes, I disagree about Bourne, Bourne is the second best thing on ECW after Morrison. However, most of the rest of it I agree with. Hardy is boring as hell. Hornswoggle sucks. I would mark out for a Dreamer title win.

I have a good match prospect. The ECW Original Jobber Tommy Dreamer in an ECW Extream Rules match to get a title shot against Matt Hardy. And who is Tommy's opponent you ask? HORNSWOGGLE!! In other words, a way of killing off this midget once and for all and to turn Tommy's career around.

Dreamer is only being used as framework management for ECW at the mo, and I honestly beleive the only time he has a chance of getting another title reign to his cedit is before he retires, as a thank you for being such a great worker for so many years.

Also, WWE's been trying hard to push they're tag team division to trump TNA's superior matches. Priceless, the Colons, Cryme Tyme, and above all others, Momiz have been having some of the best scripted matches throughout these past few weeks, most of them definitely TNA caliber, if not a tad watered down. Anyone who'se seen a Morrison split let corkscrew moonsaw executed in under 3 seconds can tell he's main-event caliber, but he's there for more important things. He's the Gail Kim of the new WWE tag team division, and he's slingshotting a talented and young mayhap Edge of tommorow at the same time.

And despite the fact that I wince when Hornswoggle pops out just as much as the next guy, as much as Finlay in bright orange wrestling boots makes me want to lob something with pointy tips through my television, I don't have an issue with him as a preformer for 2 reasons

1) Finlay is portrayed as someone wiht ring savvy, who's not as strong or fast as Mark Henry or Rey Mysterio, but can still tear ass because he's a nasty veteran. He'll use the ring apron, he'll scratch at the face, he'll turn anything into a cinched in submission, and he's got a lead filled stick and an methed up midget in case those don't do it for him.

A Finlay match isn't an average match where you go oooh at a powerbomb or a headscissors, it's a helter skelter free for all that'll mosh it's way on until the crowd's good 'n frenzied and that old irish bastard is victorious. Hornswoggle doe's nothing but add to the experience, and it it turns you off of it, you wouldn't have gotten it in the first place and have'nt lost anything

2) He's motherfriggin Finlay, and he seems to enjoy the gimmick. He deserves that.

There are alot of comments wrong in your whole segment, as I have seen in your recent title pictures, but I've chosen to stay queit, until now.

First of all, Matt Hardy, despite being a tremendous Mat wrestler, has been so Loyal to WWE of the past 10 to 15 years. Where his brother got all the fans, he was the one who stuck to the roster, and obayed the rules, somthing Jeff never done. He has been given (I use that term lightly as he does deserve it) the ECW Championship to proove how loyalty is never forgotten, however it took a Jeff Hardy drug abuse for WWE to see that. Matt Hardy will be champion until the Royal Rumble, at least.

Second of all, you say that Evan Bourne is not worthy of the ECW Championship right now. 69% of America's loyalist WWE fans, will disagree. Despite the fact he is young, he is talented. He wont be winning the title anytime soon, but Wrestlemania is a window of oppertunity for all cleans.

Number 3, you say that Mark Henry is deservant of another ECW title, well, can I just inform you that the only reason he got Micheal Hayes' racial comments. He cut down on Kane's 'thankyou' title time, showing that behind the cameras Henry is selfish. He has been a jobber since joining WWE, baring two main parts of his carrer, the Mae Young 'hand' insident, and the title picture. The rest of his years, he's jobbed. (please correct me if i am wrong)

Then, we come onto the 'fighting irish man' Finlay. Yes he has been in the buisness for years, but the only connecting before joining WWE, was WCW (again, correct me if I am wrong) and, he's already held the United States Championship, some time ago. People like Finlay don't get world titles, he's to bleak and bland.

Hornswoggle. The 4ft tall Irish Leprechaun. WWE fans are quite fond or Hornswoggle, and personally he's the only reason keeping Finlay in WWE. I can only see Hornswoggle winning the ECW title in a storyline, where he wins the title, and Finlay and him feud for it, where Finlay wins. Both will leave WWE after that storyline after about a year.

Tommy Dreamer has been in the buisness for years, and held his first ECW title for just 30 minutes (Correct me if I'm wrong) and ever since he's never hunted a title down properly. Dreamer is the highest class jobber/lowest mid-carder in ECW, and he loves it! He won't want the title, and the only chance he gets it, is in a thankyou-farewell run.

John Morrison has already held the ECW title, and doesn't need to ever again. He is a talented entertainer, and I hate the fact you judge 'wrestlers' on their face/heel. Morrison and Miz are doing great together, however, I think that they will go head to head, looser leaves the brand. John Morrison looses, and goes to RAW. He then will win the money in the bank (the next available one) and become World Heavyweight Champion - he doesn't need the ECW title.

The Boogyman? He wont be in WWE come 2 years time, and WWE know it, otherwise he'd have came back to RAW or SmackDown, and in a big way. WWE will give him the Tag titles with someone like Goldust, then, bye-bye Boogyman.

also, can you please stop saying "HERES YOUR WINNER AND NEEEEEEEEEEEEEW CHAMPION" it's so irritable, not to mention Lillian Garcia is the only one of three ring announcers to say NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW not a short, sharp NEW. The emphasis is always on the World title e.g WOORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIOOOOON, but thats still no excuse to write it.

Based on these comments, it seems that most want Hardy to hold the ECW Championship for just a little longer. But who does it go to next?
I personally say, Tommy Dreamer.
He's the last remaining ECW Legend on the ECW Roster (Correct me if I'm wrong) but become too much of a jobber.

He needs to have some extreme rivalries because we all know that the 'E' in ECW now simply stands for Entertaining Championship Wrestling.

I personally believe that the Extreme part of ECW died a while back and it won't be revived anytime soon, I don't think.

1) Evan Bourne may be a new wrestler in WWE, but the wrestling matches and athleticism he has shown in the ring thus far make him look way better than his couple months of WWE experience. The guy is FRICKIN exciting bottom line. Also, he is a former ROH star.
2) I actually respect Mark Henry as a powerhouse heel and he plays his everybody-hates-me-cuz-I'm-dominant-role very well. However, ECW mine as well not be televised if we see another Henry title reign soon. Especially, if we get no Bourne in the hour air time.
3)Finlay is a badass but I hate the Hornswoggle gimmick man. I wish Kane will Chokeslam him to hell or something.However, he is second to none when it comes to technique and in ring talent so I can see the ECW title around his waist in the foreseeable future.
4)Hornswoggle blows. The greatest moment in history was seeing Hornswoggle getting tore up in the cage by Mcmahon's orders. He is to wrestling title's what Brock Lesnar is to MMA.
5)Tommy Dreamer is an ECW Original and a shoe-in for the WWE Hall of Fame. However, I don't see any taste of ECW gold in his future. Just a bunch of feuds with up and coming ECW Superstar's and maybe a rekindled feud or two. He's basically the HBK of ECW ( definetley not the legend status of Shawn of course.) He is more or less there to train the future stars of the business so the future looks bright, even though it won't come off like that because he will always seem like a possible contender for a title.
6) I disagree with your assumption. Several wrestling fan die-hards on websites and forums actually believe Morrison is a badass and has great talent and promos. The fans that told you that are the same fans that probably think John Cena is a great technical wrestler. O and I do like the fact that he is impersonating Jim Morrison.
7)If Santino can get two IC title reigns, why can't Boogeyman get 1? I agree.

I do think Jack Swagger will be an ECW Champ within 18 months if he is still on the brand. Dr. Bombs, I MEAN SWAGGER BOMBS ARE AWESOME! GOOD ARTICLE!!
