Hazed & Confused - An Interview with Colt Cabana

Hello, good Morning, Afternoon and Evening and welcome to another edition of Hazed & Confused.

Now as I've been and still dealing with health issues, this edition and a few following ones will be slightly different from what I've been recently doing. However people that read my articles around a year ago will remember something that I used to do that was quite popular and different from the rest.

So, with that in mind I decided to bring back the “Indy Interview”, which does what it says on the tin...

To restart these interviews I contacted a few wrestlers, three of which have so far agreed to be interviewed for this article. The first one is below and includes a guy who is not only an awesome talent in the ring, but is also quite hilarious as you will be able to tell from reading the interview....... On with the show!

After a year of not having any, welcome back once again to the Indy Interviews here at Hazed & Confused.

This time we are joined by a man many of you will recognize, be it from his time currently in RoH, his time as “Scotty Goldman” in the WWE or his time in WSX as Matt Classic.
Ladies and Gentlemen.... Mr Colt Cabana!

What to the is to the up

We've got a few questions for you, well start off with the wrestling based ones and end with some for fun.

1)Firstly, for those who may be unfamiliar with you, could you give us some background information about yourself?

I'm a pro wrestling Jew who battles crime for the sake of headlocks!
I've travelled the world including Highland Park, IL..
I once clotheslined Jordy Hertzberg in the back of the head in 2nd grade.
I've also lost over 10 contact lenses during high school football.

2) What do you consider to be "UNIQUE" about yourself that differentiates you from other wrestlers?

I got this mark on my butt from tanning too much.
It kinda looks like the WU-TANG symbol.
I'm not checking out all the other dudes butts or nothing, but I gotta assume that I'm the only one that has it.

3) Who do you consider to be the most influential people on your wrestling career?

Barry Horowitz.

4) What do you consider to be the greatest advice you have received in the wrestling business and from whom?

Jim Ross told me to workout my Shoulders and chest.

5) What would you see as being highlights in your career to date?

I lost to Umaga twice on both Smackdown & Raw under two different names.

6)What type of training/conditioning do you do for wrestling?

I sit on the couch a lot. I also watch a lot of TV.
I like to get a thing of peanut butter and dip protein bars into them.
Its delicious and good for you.

7) What do you consider to be the best thing about being a wrestler?

Wearing skin tight Lycra on my body and nobody judging me.
I had this weird thing as a kid. I knew I wasn't gay, but I always wanted to cover myself in Lycra and / or Spandex.
So now, I get paid to do it. Its the best!

8) Who have you had the most fun working with or teaming with?

I worked with this kid named James when I was working at the Park District doing camps.
Actually. We both hooked up with the same chick at the same time, so I'd even say we teamed together
(HIGHFIVES ALL AROUND)

9) And who, that you haven't worked or teamed with yet would you like to?

Uh, there was this dude Frank. He'd be sweet to team some young co-ed with.
In my humble opinion.

10) You spent some time in the WWE, were you ever at all awe-struck by the big names in the locker room?

Hell yea dude. Boogie Man. There he was. Right in front of me. I couldn't believe it.
I'd be like, "Yo, Trips, Look how cool Boogie is" and Trips would be like "don't be awe-struck bro".
I had to learn to fall out of love with the Boogs. It was hard, but I eventually did.

11) Also, talking of the WWE for a moment, at the time you were released were you more disappointed in being released or appreciative of the chance and time you had been given?

It was awesome. To have one goal for your whole life. To work that hard to get there and then it was taken away for you for no rhyme or reason....
It was awesomeballs!

12) And as a “victim” of WWE's creative names, what is your opinion on been given some weird new name by them, especially for people like yourself, Low-Ki and Brian Danielson who were quite well known before joining the WWE.

Actually Scotty Goldman was #4 on my list. The list went like this
1) NapkinMan
2) Hanz Moldman
3) Punchy McWrestlerface
4) Scotty Goldman.
So, I chose 4.

13) And do you still watch or keep in contact with people from WWE? Though maybe I should exclude CM Punk from the answer.

Yea. Me and Takes talk all the time. Also me and Vinny shoot the shit sometimes.
I play laser tag with Cena every once in a while too. Just like old times ya know.

14) Talking of Punk and going back to your days as The Second City Saints, would you ever like to team up with him again?

Hell no. He owes me 3 dollars.

15) And would we ever see the two of you taking on CP Munk and Colt CaBunny?

See Question 14

16) I have to ask as its quite recent, the Tila Tequila incident at Gathering Of The Juggalos... Was it as bad as its being made out by the media? Or did she really have no business being in a place like that?

She can do whatever she wants. She's a grown woman.

17) And finally, what would your advice be to anyone wanting to start in the world of wrestling?

Give Colt Cabana like 400 Bucks, he wants to buy a new TV

And now for some less serious questions.

Favourite TV Show?

Mama's Family

Favourite Band and/or Song?

Green Jello

Favourite sandwich filling?

Green Jello

Favourite Video Game?

RBI BASEBALL

You're given a monkey, some glittery shirts, a disco ball and $250. What do you do with each?
