Ladies and Gentlemen, we are one week from the Royal Rumble or in other words, the ‘official’ Road To Wrestlemania but before that we have one more RAW to get through. So let’s get things started.

I'm calling you out

The WWE Champion comes out, sits in his favorite position, and discusses his upcoming match at the PPV against Ziggler and more importantly the guest referee at the match -- John Laurinitis. He calls him a failure and also talks about JL’s confession last week when he admitted that he does intend to screw Punk off the title. Punk then challenges JL to come out and say that to his face. Needless to say the big man didn’t show up. Instead, the other John shows up. Cena. He has come out to state his demands: justice for Ryder, match against Kane and JL’s resignation.

Now JL does come out to say that he stands by what he said last week about Punk. As for Ryder he will face Kane in a Falls Count Anywhere match and if Cena interferes then Ryder will never get US Championship belt title shot. As for Cena and Punk they will team up against Vickie’s Posse.

CM Punk & John Cena vs Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger

 Cena starts off strong against Ziggler and quickly tags in Punk. The WWE Champion quickly tries to end things with a GTS but Ziggie dodged it. After the commercials Cena is back in the ring against Ziggler but loses momentum. Tag to Swagga who wears down Cena with a front choke. Cena countered that but wasn’t able to capitalize. Team Heel continue to work on Cena one after another until he was able to counter a bear hug by Swagga into an AA. Tag made on both sides. The champion goes to work on the challenger while Cena takes out Swagga outside. Punk goes up top to finish Ziggie off but JL distracts him. Ziggler rolls him up for the count.

Winners: Zigga & Swagga

Punk then challenges JL for a one-on-one match for the main event. JL accepts.

Silence will fall

Chris Jericho comes out for the Highlight Reel and asks for silence from the audience. Before uttering a word he goes back again to get a t-shirt thrower... then doesn’t throw the shirt. Then he grabs a camera from one of the cameramen and starts shooting stuff. Then shows a clip about his accomplishments. FINALLY he says, “This Sunday at Royal Rymble it’s going to be the end of the world as you know it.”

They show a clip about all the numbers involved in the Royal Rumble. It seemed a rehash of the one they showed last year.

Mick Foley gives tips to Ryder on fighting Kane. Eve tries to dissuade Ryder from competing but Ryder doesn’t give in. Cena also shows up and says he will have Ryder’s back but Ryder tells him not to interfere.

Zack Ryder vs Kane

So here’s what happened. Kane dominates. Kane dominates. Kane dominates. Kane dominates. Kane chokeslams Ryder through the stage.

Kane menacingly stalks Eve but stops when Cena shows up.

The paramedics strap Ryder to a gurney and take him to an ambulance. Eve blames Cena for everything.

Jinder Mahal vs Sheamus

Sheamus dominates the match initially. When Barrett turns up Sheamus gets distracted and Jinder takes advantage.  But he isn’t able to carry the momentum for long. Sheamus ends things with a Brogue Kick.

Winner: Sheamus

It's all about #1

Josh asks Miz about his match against R-Truth. Miz tells him that any partner of his who has tried to cross him has had his career ended. He says that he is # 1 in all of WWE. Truth shows up dressed as a geek with a clipboard in hand. On consulting said clipboard he announces that Miz is indeed #1. He stands #1 in most annoying, whining and also W.E.I.O (what else is on). They start arguing. JL shows up and says that whoever loses in their match will be the #1 entrant in the Royal Rumble match.

Funkasaurus match (this time in a shiny, white unitard)

The Miz vs R-Truth

Back and forth match up in the beginning. Miz finally gains the upper hand when he drops Truth on the ropes then spears him outside. He tries to wear Truth down but Truth easily counters. Truth kept trying to steal the pin count whenever possible with pin attempts. SCF attempt countered but Little Jimmy connects.

Winner: R-Truth

One fax to change it all

JL is all pumped up for his match against Punk. Otunga shows up with a fax which he says is of utmost importance. A look of concern shows up on JL’s face when he reads said fax.

Punk comes out to the ring with a look on his face that says Christmas just came early for him. JL comes out to the ring with Otunga and makes him read the fax. In short this was what it said: The Board of Directors of WWE are pissed at JL for his ‘questionable’ decisions as Interim WWE. And so he will have to undergo a job evaluation next week at RAW which will be conducted by the COO Triple H. Punk then goads JL by saying that if he tries to screw him off the title at Royal Rumble then he will get fired. JL tries to make nice with Punk and the WWE Universe by apologizing and allowing Foley to compete in the Royal Rumble. He says that he always planned to call the title match fair and square and only said what he said last week because Punk taunted him so much. Punk says he hopes Trips fires him on RAW next week. JL says that’s not gonna happen since he’s been in the WWE for so long and as for tonight’s match he will be replaced by Otunga. JL’s lackey sneak attacks Punk but not for long. Anaconda Vice makes him tap followed by a head kick, JL asks for a truce by offering his hand but Punk plants a GTS instead. As Punk is celebrating Ziggler comes from behind and hits a Zig Zag.
