RAW RECAP! Commercial free, should be a good one, right? Only time and patience will tell … Promo #1 Bret Hart comes out to start off the show to welcome his home town crowd. He talks about how he was surprised that The Miz wanted to fight him instead of Tyson Kidd or David Hart Smith. Bret goes on to say that he won’t fight The Miz, because that’s not how he wanted to go out. Before he can finish, Chris Jericho comes out and starts to compare him today to his old self. Jericho even had the cahones to call Hart a has-been, and a hypocrite … His ego must be too big to see that he just described himself … Anywho, Jericho goes as far as saying that Bret deserved to get screwed in Montreal. JerichoJericho finishes his bad mouthing by asked Bret why not make the match a No DQ match, which Bret agrees. So it’s The Miz v. Bret “The Himan” Hart in a No Disqualification match. tells Bret that his dad (Stu Hart) would be ashamed of Bret were he still here. Pick Your Poison: Edge v. ??? – Randy Orton’s Pick Edge comes out with more cheers from a group of fans than he’s ever had. Edge starts talking jibberish about Orton when he’s interrupted by a fellow Canadian … Christian! Captain Charisma comes out and the bell rings, signaling he was Orton’s choice … and a good choice as Christian and Edge were one time tag team partners (Seven Time Champs). Edge and Christian work on each others soft spots, with neither man appearing to be able to win. Many of their moves were countered in this match, and that’s where the advantage of tagging all those years ago kicks in. Edge’s Spears were countered a number of times, as well as Christian’s own Killswitch being countered a couple of times. But, in the end, Edge was able to counter a Killswitch and Spear Christian for the win. Winner: Edge Rating: ★★★☆☆ Orton comes on screen after the match and congratulates Edge, but says he wonders why Christian was out there. Orton tells Edge that’s not who his poison was … as the Undertaker’s music plays. Pick Your Poison: Undertaker v. Edge Undertaker comes out and greets an unbelieving Edge. Edge climbs out of the ring after the bells sounds off, and awaits a count-out. As the ref gets to ten, amidst boo’s Edge starts to celebrate. Unfortunately for him, Christian was still at ringside … and Christian send Edge into the ring. A waiting Undertaker gladly takes Edge out with a Choke-slam. Winner: The Undertaker (Count-Out) Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ Promo #2 Maryse is seen backstage with a magazine with Trish Stratus on it and starts to laugh. She says she can’t understand why Trish is treated like a celebrity in Canada. Maryse goes on to say that she’s French-Canadian, which is apparently better than regular Canadians. Eve sneaks up on her, dumps powder on Maryse’s head, and slams her head into a table before staff break them up. Promo #3 Buzz Aldrin (Apollo 11) is seen with his wife in his “office” when a familiar sound is heard … Excuse Me! Vickie Guerrero comes in, but with a softer than usual tone and asks why is all of Aldrin’s stuff in her office. Aldrin goes on to say that he knows two things, that he walked on the moon in ’68 and that Vickie quit last week. The Bella Twins come in and escort Vickie out, by the request of Aldrin. Promo #4 Mark Henry’s music plays, and he walks out to the ring taped up and bandaged. As he gets half way down the ramp, Batista comes out and takes Henry down with a 2x4 shot. Batista goes on working on the injured shoulder of Henry before flattening him out on the steel steps. Batista’s ego gets the best of him, and he demands a spotlight as he flexes on the turnbuckles. Yoshi Tatsu v. Ted DiBiase - (Ted v. R-Truth at Over the Limit is announced) DiBiase comes out first, with the ORIGINAL Virgil, bragging about his trust fund that just kicked in. Before he can continue, Tatsu comes out and the match starts. DiBiase starts off swinging, but Tatsu’s able to come back with a couple of drop-kicks for a near fall. Tatsu’s able to take DiBiase down with a kick to the jaw, and roll him up for a near fall. Eventually, DiBiase would counter another kick from Tatsu to hit the Dream Street. Winner: Ted DiBiase Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ DiBiase starts directing his words to R-Truth. He says he found someone not ashamed to be the new Virgil … the old Virgil. Really? Seriously, I love Virgil man … but he looked like he could topple over at any given moment. Promo #5 A reporter tries to talk to The Miz as he’s walking to the ring, but Miz shuns him and takes the microphone. The Miz starts rambling about how epic it was going to be when he beat a Hall ‘o Famer, country hero, and former champion with one win. As he arrives to the ring, although boo’s are still echoing, the crowd chants in for a trademark Miz move. “.. and I’mmmmm Aweeeeesoommeeee !” The Miz (c.) v. Bret “The Hitman” Hart – United States Title “The Hitman” comes out, and before the match starts The Miz calls out Regal and Kozlov to the ring to make sure Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith don’t interfere. Kidd and Hart Smith jump over the barricades and take out Regal and Kozlov as Chris Jericho hops in the ring. Natalya comes in the ring and when Jericho tells her to leave, she slaps him. Jericho grabs her up as Bret hits Jericho and takes him down. The Miz is able to drop Hart and starts to apply the Sharpshooter. Kidd dropkicks The Miz though, and it’s all downhill from there. After realizing Kidd and Hart-Smith hit the Hart Attack, “The Hitman” goes on to apply the Sharpshooter for the win. Winner: Bret “The Hitman” Hart (NEW US Champ!) Rating: ★★★☆☆ At the end of the match, Bret is embraced by the Hart Dynasty as well as the cheers of his hometown fans. Lay-Cool & Maryse v. The Bella Twins & Eve Lay-Cool is sporting TWO Women’s Championships? Eve and Maryse start a fight before the match can be officially started. Eve and Layla start off the match and the two go back and forth until Eve’s able to down Layla before tagging in Brie Bella. Layla’s able to distract the ref, allowing McCool to take out Brie. McCool and Nikki Bella come in and square off, and Nikki makes the mistake of knocking Maryse off the apron. McCool’s able to tag Maryse in, who hits the French Kiss for the one two three. Winners: Lay-Cool & Maryse Rating: ★☆☆☆ Pick Your Poison: Randy Orton v. ??? – Edge’s Pick Orton comes out, with that usual sinister look of his before he’s met by the one and only “All American, American” Jack Swagger. Jack dominates most of the match, working all of Orton outside of the match as well as inside. Swagger was able to get numerous two-counts, and no matter what he did he seemed unable to get the final three-count. Orton’s able to battle back with a hard DDT into a RKO … but out comes Edge. Edge’s able to take Orton out with a Spear to end the match. Winner: Randy Orton (DQ) Rating: ★★☆☆☆ The match concludes with Edge standing over a downed Orton as his music plays. Promo #6 Buzz Aldrin is out, and talking about how much of a good time he’s having. He talks about Canada and the space programs as well. I’m sorry, but if you don’t mind my saying … the whole time he was talking he looked like he was about to fall over too. So disrespect, Aldrin and Armstrong have been and always will be heroes of mine. But out comes Ryder and Alicia Fox. Ryder says that the lunar landing was staged, and that he would rather be homeless than live in Canada. Buzz shows Ryder the video of him punching a reporter that said the same thing about Apollo 11, and backs Ryder up against the ropes as Evan Bourne comes out. Gail Kim & Evan Bourne v. Alicia Fox & Zach Ryder The girls fought most of the match, Gail having the advantage. After Gail’s able to take out Alicia, however, Ryder takes down Gail. The guys come it and duke it out, Bourne able to win over most of the battle and takes Ryder out of the ring and the match as the ladies tag up. Gail’s able to hit a finisher to win. Winners: Gail Kim & Evan Bourne Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ Gail, Buzz, and Evan all celebrate in the ring after the match. How much more damage to Ryder’s morale can be done? John Cena v. Sheamus Cena has never beaten Sheamus, understandably so … just look at the guy! Sheamus and Cena start off the match on the ground, sending each other into steel steps and the guardrails. More that 50% of the match was fought outside the ring. Cena kept sending Sheamus out of the ring over and over before he was finally met by resistance. Sheamus dominated over Cena like very few people can or could have in the past. In the end, Cena ended up being met by a Spine-Buster by Batista. Winner: John Cena (DQ) Rating: ★★★☆☆ In the end, Batista hits a couple more Spine-Busters on Cena, and applies an STF like move on Cena. Batista yells for Cena to quit, but Cena pushes on and the show ends with Cena still in the hold. Show Rating: ★★☆☆☆ Best Performer: Bret “The Hitman” Hart Best Match: Christian v. Edge One of Raw’s more interesting shows in recent weeks, can’t wait to see what they’re going to do with the Bret Hart storyline. Thanks for reading, and I hope to catch your eye next week!

Bret Hart is a Hypocrite. No, I'm not some stupid fan who goes "WHAT I THINK IS RIGHT, WHOEVER YOU LIKE IS STUPID AND SUCKS BALLS"
I'm a huge fan of The Miz, but I'm glad he dropped the title. He is done of the U.S Title, he is now going to Main Event Status, Daniel Bryan should have taken it though. Bret Hart says "I don't wanna be a old has-been who keeps holding on" Bret Hart is a has-been holding on.
Want more moments, Hart? You might as well go with TNA with all the other old has-beens such as Hogan, Hall, Flair and them.
This is also a good time for Ryder and Bourne to get a push and face for U.S Title.
Also, article rating: C-
Also, noticed JerichoJericho part in this.

How can you rate The Miz vs. Bret Hart anything higher that 0/5.
Also, how can you name him top performer!
I love Bret Hart, but it's embarrasing he cant win a match without help from The Hart Dynasty
If anything the match should be frowned upon, If Bret Hart can't get his balls in order, and wrestle a match, then retire, or go to TNA with all the other old has-beens (Hogan, Hall, Nash)

i dont think bret hart is techincally allowed to wrestle because of the insurance settlement he got from lloyds when goldberg ended his career. thus, why his matches this year have not really been matches.
