Raw Coverage
DX's music hits and Shawn and Hunter both come out for tag team action. They both have mics and during the "Are You Ready?" part, Hunter stops and asks where the leprechaun is. Shawn says that he sent him home and that this is serious. He wants to know why Hunter can't understand the position he's in. He says that Hunter knows how much a match with Undertaker at WrestleMania is to him. He needs his shot to end the streak. "Is that too much to ask?" Shawn asks. Hunter says that it is too much to ask. He says that the jokes are all over...it's Rumble time. It should be everyone's goal to win the Rumble and headline Mania for a title and if it's not, they shouldn't even be here. He then says that they can go into the Rumble and throw out 28 other guys, but at the end of the day, it will come down to the two of them and if he has to step on Shawn's dream to get to him, that's exactly what he's going to do. Shawn says he understands and Legacy's music hits.
DX vs Legacy
Hunter and Rhodes start the match off. Rhodes starts off with some kicks, but Hunter turns him into a corner with some punches of his own. Rhodes tries a dropkick, but Hunter stops and Rhodes lands on his back. Hunter tries the Pedigree, but DiBiase grabs Rhodes' legs and drags him out of the ring. Cole then announces some breaking news about tonight's guest hosts and they have that information as soon as they return from break.
COMMERCIAL
We're back and Rhodes and Triple H are still in, but are both on their backs. Triple H makes the tag first and Shawn comes in with offense. Lawler announces that James Roday is not here and they'll find out why later. Bodyslam by Shawn and he goes up to the top rope. DiBiase tries to stop him, but he hits him down to the outside. Rhodes then slides out with DiBiase and Shawn hits a crossbody on both of them. Shawn throws Rhodes back in and kicks DiBiase off of him, but as he gets back in, Rhodes hits a swinging neckbreaker and turns the tide. Tag to DiBiase and after ramming Shawn's head into the turnbuckle a couple of times, he tags Rhodes back in.
Rhodes continues the attack on HBK with a couple of knee drops and nearfalls. Tag to DiBiase and he comes in with a dropkick. Cover, two count. Dibiase takes HBK down with a snapmare and then kicks him in the face and goes for another pin attempt, but only gets two again. Tag in to Rhodes. The offense continues, as does some more failed pin attempts, until Shawn hits a back bodydrop after Rhodes hits Triple H off the apron. There's no one for him to tag. DiBiase comes in and tries the Dream Street, but HBK reverses and goes for some Sweet Chin Music, but it looks like a botched spot and he tags in Hunter. He comes in with double spinebusters and as he's going for the Pedigree on Rhodes, HBK tags himself in. Hunter confronts him and Rhodes pushes them into one another. As they are staring each other down, HBK hits DiBiase with a superkick. Then, as Rhodes is about to hit HBK in the back, Hunter clotheslines him. HBK gets the pin and the three count.
WINNERS: DX
After The Match: The two of them shake hands and celebrate with their tag team titles, but you can tell there's some hostility on both parts. We then cut to a sneak peak of John Cena's appearance on Psych this Wednesday. Up next, it's MVP vs Big Show.

Same old tag team stuff. Cheating, countering, taunting and then winning. But this is totally helping to break up Legacy and everybody wants DiBiase to turn face and fight Randy Orton!

MVP comes out for his match with Big Show and grabs a mic first. He addresses Miz by telling him that he can keep hiding behind guest hosts and the Big Show, but he can't keep running away. He will become the new United States Champion for the third time because he's straight-up "ballin". Miz's music hits and he comes out saying he doesn't even know what "straight-up ballin" is. He says that he can't believe these people accept him after he's been incarcerated. And for some reason, they can't stand him. He's treated like an outcast. MVP says the reason everyone dislikes him is because he's a jackass. He says that Miz would be quite popular in jail and that leads to a gay joke about Miz and Show. Miz tells him that's enough and he would love to come down there right now and put the title on the line, but he's not going to because he has a friend that wants to make a statement. He tells MVP to enjoy his match with the Big Show while he's still the U.S. Champion. He's the Miz, he's awesome, and Big Show's music hits.
MVP vs Big Show
MVP ducks an early clothesline and lands a couple of punches before Big Show takes over with some headbutts. He pushes MVP back to a corner and slaps his chest. He whips MVP into the other corner and charges him, but MVP moves out of the way. He charges Big Show, but is caught with a chokeslam. 1-2-3, it's over.
WINNER: Big Show
After The Match: Miz comes in and celebrates over a beaten MVP.

Is WWE serious?! MVP vs Big Show in a One Fall match?! Man that was a complete waste of time! I liked MVP better when he was heel!

We see Legacy in the back and Rhodes is thanking him for taking Shawn Michaels' superkick and just as DiBiase is going to say something to him, Orton comes in and talks about the tension the three of them have had over the past few months. He asks where they were when Sheamus was attacking him last week. He tells them to accept the fact that at the Rumble, it's every man for himself. He then says he will win the title from Sheamus, with or without them.
We then cut to John Cena with guest host, Dule Hill. Cena says that people are talking about the season premiere of Psych on Wednesday featuring John Cena. He then asks where James Roday is and Hill says he had an operation and couldn't make it. Cena then tells Hill to make tonight's Raw his night. He leaves and Miz comes in and says that he can't believe Psych wanted Cena over him. He then talks about having to google Hill's name just to see who he was and before he could get too much out, Hill tells him that he has set up a match for Miz tonight (he sings "Tonight" a couple of times) against an opponent of his choice. He calls Miz a "joker" and walks out.

Maryse comes out ready for her match tonight and takes a mic. She says that the other divas with their little Championship dreams are wasting their time. She then starts talking French and an explosion takes place at the entrance ramp. It was apparently Dule Hill who was playing with buttons up there. He says he's sorry, but Maryse doesn't accept his apology. Eve's music hits and she comes out for the match.
Maryse vs Eve Torres
Semi-Finals of Diva Championship Tournament
The winner of this match goes up against the winner of Gail Kim and Alicia Fox. The bell sounds and we're underway. Eve starts off with some punches and kicks in the corner and then a dropkick. Cover but a two count. She continues her offense with a front flip onto Maryse. Cover again, but only two. She hits a clothesline and then a bodyslam. She goes to the top rope and tries a moonsault, but Maryse moves. She sets up for a DDT, but Eve counters into a pin, but another nearfall. Eve tries for an irish whip, but Maryse holds on to the top rope and then kicks Eve in the stomach. French Kiss DDT and that's it.
Winner: Maryse

Ok the Divas are pretty hot but the WWE needs to put more effort on the Divas too. Check out SD! At least they’re making a pretty decent feud Mickie vs Michelle! And we all expected Maryse to win anyway!

We cut to the back and Vince McMahon is on his way to the ring and his announcement regarding Bret Hart is next.
COMMERCIAL
Vince McMahon walks out to the ring and we see a replay of last week where the Undertaker called him a coward. Vince says that if Undertaker was here tonight, he would call him out to the ring, look him in the eye, and dare him to call him a coward. He says nothing could be further from the truth because let's face it, there's not one good reason why he would bring Bret Hart back. He says that Economics 101 says that you buy low and sell high. He tells the crowd that they had forgotten about Bret Hart until Shawn Michaels forced him to bring Bret back. He then asks rhetorically if there's a reason to bring Bret back and the crowd starts a "We want Bret" chant. He then tells them to be careful what they ask for and to listen to this announcement: Bret Hart will never be back in a WWE ring. He says that he's a businessman.
The crowd boos and he starts mocking them about being smart. He gets out and starts interviewing fans about why they think Bret should return. One guy says that Bret would beat him down in the ring. Another kid says that he's awesome. Another guy acted stupid and Vince said that he proved his point. He gets back into the ring and says that he didn't hear one good business reason to bring Bret back and that's because there's not. Bret is apart of the past and he's concerned with the present and the future. He then thanks them for their concern and their kindness, but before he can leave, John Cena's music hits.
John Cena says he's not out here to chance Vince McMahon's mind. He says that he never had a problem with Vince until recently. He reminds Vince McMahon of the gum analogy he made about Bret Hart and also remembers how Vince treated Roddy Piper. Cena says that he had a lot of help building the empire that he's created from people like Piper and Hart. He then throws them away whenever he wants and Cena asks him if that's how he feels about people like HBK, Undertaker, Batista, and him. Vince says he doesn't know what he's talking. Cena says that Vince just uses people to line his pockets. He says that Vince isn't a coward, he's pathetic. Vince asks what he called him and Cena says he heard him. He then challenges Vince to invite Bret to Raw next week to face him man to man and if he doesn't, he'll prove his point. Cena then adds that if Vince doesn't do that, he's going to find him on his 90th birthday, pick him up out of his wheelchair, and punch his false teeth down his throat.
Cena walks out and before he gets halfway up the ramp, Vince tells him to start. He says that he's going to invite Bret to Raw next week. He's going to call him out to the ring, face to face, and he's not even going to flinch. Cena smiles, but Vince McMahon then announces that he's in a match tonight against the man that took his WWE Championship away from him...Sheamus. Cena looks happy about it and we cut to break.

Miz vs Kofi Kingston
The two lock up and go through a series of counters. Kofi hits a couple of cross body splashes and tries a third, but Miz stops it with a kick to the face. He then applies a headlock. Kofi gets up, but Miz slams him down and then kicks him in the face again. Cover, but only a two count. As Kofi gets back to all fours, Miz delivers a kick to the stomach and then to the chest. He hits a knee drop and then applies another headlock. Kofi starts kicking his way back in the match. He goes to the top rope and hits a huge frog splash on to Miz's back, goes for a cover, but a nearfall. Kofi tries a spinning kick, but Miz counters into a backbreaker and a neckbreaker. Nearfall. All of a sudden, MVP's music hits. Miz looks up to the ramp, but MVP doesn't come out. Miz turns around and runs into a little Trouble In Paradise. Cover and the three count.
WINNER: Kofi Kingston
After The Match: MVP comes out and stares down the just-beaten Miz.

Kofi, I’d say, is a pretty good wrestler for his size, I just wonder why WWE isn’t pushing him mush anymore. And the match was alright!

We cut to Dule Hill and Carlito as Carlito is giving him a tour of the production truck. The production guy tells him what the buttons do and apparently, it is the wrestlers' graphics for the match previews. They pull up Carlito's graphic on one side and Carlito thinks that Hill should put him in a title match. Hill says he has a better idea. He's going to punch a random number in and whoever it is, that will be his opponent next. Carlito starts arguing until we see that it's Kelly Kelly. Carlito says that Hill may just be the best guest host ever and he leaves for his match.
COMMERCIAL
We're back with Carlito in the ring ready for his match. Kelly Kelly comes out with a concerned look on her face and before she can make it to the ring, Santino Marella's music hits. He says that the Best of Raw 2009 dvd is out and he's on there looking stupid. He's going to make it on to this year's Best of Raw dvd by taking her place, defeating Carlito, entering the Royal Rumble, and earning an express ticket to WrestleMania. He starts making his way down to the ring and is attacked by Jack Swagger. Swagger ends up ramming Santino's head into the steel post on the outside. He taunts Santino by doing pushups and then heads to the back.
COMMERCIAL
We see John Cena and Dule Hill again in the back. Cena talks about how great Hill is doing hosting Raw tonight and says that it couldn't get better, but then says that it could get better. He has James Roday on speaker phone. He makes a joke about Sheamus' skin and Alicia Fox comes and says that she hears Hill is a psychic. Roday starts talking saying that he's the psychic and Hill hangs up on him and turns his attention to Fox. She asks what he sees in her match later tonight. He says he sees a "fox" winning and he's going to be in her corner by her side. She says that's great, but if he's wrong...he flirts with her getting in her face asking what's going to happen and she shrugs and leaves. He then asks Cena what she meant by that and he names a few possibilities with the last being that she'll find Mark Henry, he'll find Hill, and tear his appendix out the hard way. Cena leaves by saying that half the fun is finding out.

Gail Kim vs Alicia Fox
Semi-Finals for Divas Championship Tournament
Dule Hill joins Lawler and Cole at the announce booth. Alicia Fox takes the early advantage until Gail Kim hits a big bodyslam. Fox then tries a small package, but only gets two. The finish comes with Gail Kim grabbing Fox's arm, putting her foot by her neck and dropping down to her back. Cool spot.
WINNER: Gail Kim
After The Match: Alicia Fox gets mad and goes to address Dule Hill. He's trying to explain that he's not really a psychic and she ends up slapping him. They show a replay and she hit him pretty good.

Sheamus vs John Cena
The bell sounds and they lock up. A power struggle that goes back and forth but Sheamus reverses it and swings Cena into the corner and then gives him a cheap shot and celebrates. They come together and again and Cena takes his back. Sheamus quickly grabs the ropes and Cena steps back and taunts Sheamus some. Running bulldog by Cena, followed by a pin and a two count. Sheamus ends up hitting a clothesline and taking control with some punches and kicks in the corner. Cena reverses an irish whip into the corner, hits a suplex, and goes for a cover. Two count.
Sheamus reverses an irish whip and hits a clothesline. He then hits a suplex of his own. Cover by Sheamus, but another kickout. Sheamus hits Cena with a few punches and then whips him hard into the corner. Another nearfall. Cena climbs up on the outside ring apron and Sheamus hits him off with a big knee. The ref starts counting and Cena gets back to the ring apron. Sheamus tries another knee to Cena's head, but Cena moves and lifts Sheamus to his shoulders. Sheamus counters into a DDT and goes for the cover, but only gets two. Bodyslam, but again, Sheamus only gets two. Sheamus applies an armbar.
Cena battles to his feet and powers out. Drop toe hold and Cena attempts the STF, but Sheamus counters and throws Cena out of the ring. Sheamus follows him out and throws him into the steel steps. Sheamus tells Cena to stay down before he climbs back into the ring and tells the ref to count him out. Cena barely makes it in at 9. Sheamus tries an elbow drop, but Cena moves. Cena reverses a bodyslam and hits a few of his shoulder blocks. Press slam and then the Five Knuckle Shuffle. He lifts Sheamus up, but again, Sheamus counters into a backbreaker. Cover and another kickout.
Sheamus starts stalking Cena as he gets back to his feet. He tries the big head kick, but Cena counters into the STF. Sheamus gets to the ropes immediately though and slides out of the ring. Cena follows him, but this time, Sheamus connects with the big kick to the head. Sheamus gets back in the ring and the ref again starts counting. The ref gets up to 7 or 8, but then Randy Orton comes out of nowhere and hits the RKO. The ref rings for the bell and Randy Orton gets on his fists staring at Sheamus on the ground. Cena is starting to get in and Randy Orton turns his attention to him. He's going for that delayed DDT, but Cena counters and hits the Attitude Adjustment. It shows Cena standing tall as we go off the air.

Same old Cena moves! Man Cena needs to come up with better moves, or make Cena, one of the most loved superstar, heel! Come on it can’t just always be Orton being the heel of Raw! And besides people cheer for Orton! I saw make Cena heel and Orton face! But of course Orton needs to face DiBiase before turning face heheh. But I just wish that WWE can do something right again!
