Welcome back to the Righteous Rankings! Lately it has seemed as if the WWE tag team division is just about dead. There only life line at this point is a decent tag team and two jobber teams. Yes i'm talking about Hart Dynasty, The Usos, and the other team I cant even remember. But before the tag division went to garbage, it used to mean something. It used to be two guys battling it out together because they were to good for singles competition. Now they had to combine the tag team titles because they've lost so much prestige. But now I will break down the top 10 greatest tag teams in wrestling history. - Ranking: #10 Tag Team: Harlem Heat Both brothers Booker T and Stevie Ray formed to create one of the better tag teams in history and probably the greatest team in WCW history. The team worked together so dynamically that they fit together like a puzzle. Booker was the speedy and quick wrestler while Stevie was the more powerful. The opposite styles teaming up lead to a record 10 WCW Tag Team Championship reigns a multiple accomplishments. - Ranking: #9 Tag Team: Rated-RKO Here is a team that has made there statement but doesnt have the palmares left behind to prove it. But they spent a lot of time feuding with DX which is why the championships werent really coming there way. Although they are somewhat the reason that DX went so long without ever winning the belts. Rated-RKO had just one championship reign but still managed to be a dominating team. Edge and Christian was a great team that came to an end and Edge moved on to Orton. Now the two are more rivals than anything but both men still find singles success year round. - Ranking: #8 Tag Team: Brothers of Destruction With all the brother tag teams out there would this list be complete without the Brothers of Destruction. This team doesnt really get the recognition it deserves because both Kane and the Undertaker are singles wrestlers, but if you combine them then there is no doubt that there a force to be recking with. Overall the team had three tag team championship reigns. It started in 2001 when the two teamed up to eliminate just about the whole Royal Rumble field. They went on to dominate the tag division for the rest of that year until disbanding there team when Undertaker turned heel. Since they have had reunions as a team but nothing like in 2001. Ranking: #7 Tag Team: Steiner Brothers These guys appealed to me not only because there from Detroit like me but because they have a interesting style of wrestling that works. They never really did double team moves but instead just did it on there own. Scott would start the match with his powerful offense, then he would tag in Rick to do some damage, and then Scott would finish it all with the Frankensteiner. Despite there actual teamwork, the two still managed to win 10 tag team titles in NWA and WCW, and get some five star matches while doing it. - Ranking: #6 Tag Team: Hardy Boyz More brothers and I guarantee you this isnt the last family tag team on this list. The Hardy Boyz are probably the most respected tag team in history as they have been apart of making the tag division what it was in its prime. Both these men werent afraid to put there bodies on the line with there high flying attack and it only lead to success. The Hardy Boyz managed 8 championship reigns and took part in many more classic matches. Ranking: #5 Tag Team: Hart Foundation There has been different variations of the Hart Foundation but im referring to the original Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart. They may have only two reigns but they represent what any great tag team should. Both these men wrestled for the Hart name as a whole and not as an individual. That is what made them go on and now the Hart Dynasty has picked up as Unified Tag Team Champions. - Ranking: #4 Tag Team: D-Generation X These two might not be family but DX is probably the most known tag team on this list. Meaning that if you only recognized one of the teams on this list, then this would be the one. Also if you only know one team on this list then you probably dont watch wrestling. Many people have been associated with DX including Hornswoggle but the only two guys that have been in it from beginning to end is Triple H and Shawn Michaels. This team is so good that they dont even need to worry about the belts. The team took over 10 years to win gold but they still rank among the greats. - Ranking: #3 Tag Team: Edge & Christian I noticed that this team doesnt really get the credit they deserve. They werent only apart of the first two TLC matches but they won them both. And if winning two of the greatest tag team matches in history isnt enough then 7 championship reigns should be. Both Edge and Christian wrestler but unfortunately they are no longer a tag team. But either way there among the greats in tag team history. - Ranking: #2 Tag Team: Dudley Boyz They often label themselves as the greatest tag team ever. I wouldnt go as far to say that they are the best but I have them ranked damn close at number two. These two started way back in ECW, ran through WCW, found TNA and now they still fight together as a tag team! Easily the most hardcore team on this list by far. They even revolutionized the table in wrestling. If all that isnt enough then just add in the fact that they've been tag team champions over 20 times. I'm not exactly sure how this team came along but they got the job done and still do. - Ranking: #1 Tag Team: Road Warriors Over 10 championship reigns, the cover duo of tag team wrestling, and the greatest tag team of all time. Animal and Hawk started in AWA and worked as a team until the end. After jump starting the tag division and rising to the top, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind about this decision. When these two hit you with their signature Doomsday Device, there just was no getting up from it. Now there legacy shall forever be remembered as the greatest tag team of all time. - Thanks for reading and sorry if you disappointed. With many other great teams, this list was hard to break down but I think I did a pretty damn good job. Tune in next week to catch another top ten.

While I agree with ya that the tag team division is on the decline, there were 2 teams that were great in my book, (also I may be older than ya too to remember them, lol) but what about the Rock 'n Roll Express & the Midnight Express. Maybe Honorable mentions....lol

I don't know...Animal and Hawk weren't originally a team. Road Warrior Animal (managed by Paul Ellering) fueded with Hawk, for a LONG time, before they teamed up.

The Road Warriors started in the NWA. Georgia Championship Wrestling out of Atlanta in fact. There they won the National TagTeam Championship in their first match. Some months later they moved to the AWA where they won their first of many World TagTeam Championships.

I agree with these but it's kinds hard to determine only 10..
You should have included honorable mentions =P
Anyone remember
Los Guerreros or the
Angle and Benoit tag
Edge and Rey
Team Angle (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas)
Although these teams weren't together for long all of them worked very well together
