The Round Table Vol. 2 (Part 1)

Greetings one and everyone.

Welcome to the 2nd edition of the Round Table. I am of course joined by the magical and slightly tanned Joose. And for this session, we are joined by long time writer, Dominican Daredevil!

Without further or do let's get this started.

Let's start with my favourite news of the week, Nigel McGuinness is returning to the ring.

DD: All you can really say is, "FINALLY NIGEL MCGUINNESS HAS COME BACK....TO THE RING"

Joose: Brilliant news and happy to see him back, ok its only with HWA for now and doing a training camp but nice to see him. Very talented guy and its a shame the health proplems came along when they did.

Nem: Haha. Not in that sense. I always loved the McGuinness/Danielson rivalries.

Yeah, I know its just a training can but he's one of the best that this industry never really managed to see the full potential on the main stage.

Joose: However, from what Ive heard, RoH dont seem to be interested in booking him at all... which seems a bit strange to me, you would think they would be all over him

Nem: Wasn't he Colour Commentator with them?

Joose: Honestly, no idea... but why would you pass on someone as talented as him?

DD: I don't see why RoH wouldn't pick him up to wrestle, if he can go, I'm betting they'd be the first to set up a dream match with someone on the roster

Nem: No idea. Maybe the same reason WWE fired Danielson. He choked out the wrong person with a tie.

DD: Joose it's the same reason TNA passed up on his talent and just made him just another enhancement talent to make everyone else look good

Joose: Maybe that reason for TNA, but RoH wouldnt misuse him.... Or Id like to hope they wouldnt

DD: they already did, making him a color commentator almost seems demeaning for someone like him

Joose: But then again they seem to be more focused on the whole Steen angle still... to be honest I dont catch much RoH so I guess I have no idea what Im talking about :P

Nem: Haha :P

Anyway, onto the next bit of news...

Joose: Batista has a new haircut?

DD: I thought Undertaker was the one with the new haircut?

Not entirely... possibly worse...

It is being reported that DX is likely to return in the coming weeks to co-inside with the Nash/HHH storyline

Nem: PLEASE GOD NO!!

DD: DX coming back again? How many times will they do that? AND bring back Kevin Nash? he needs to stay in that retirement home and stop buying the stock of Just for Men in stores

Nem: Its like CM Punk said "My sister sent me a text. OMG! Big Nash, wat a shock, thought he was dead, LOL."

Joose: Oh is it that time of year again already? The time that WWE creative sit there and go "mmmmm, our viewing figures could sure be better, what do the fans want? Well they like this CM Punk guy.... they LOVE that Ryder guy, lets push him.... oh wait... how about... WE BRING BACK DX!!!!".... urrrrggghh why oh why do we have to go through this again?

Nem: Because we're not the 8-13 demographic?

DD: Because CM Punk didn't teach WWE Creative or the big bosses a damn thing, they keep doing the same system over and over and over again no matter how tiring it is

Joose: Apparently this is mainly as theyre rolling out some new DX Merch soon.... why?!? They're not relevant at the moment, are they?

Nem: Where are my ice cream bars?

DD: They haven't been relevant since the Attitude Era....

Joose: Ok, 15 odd years ago the DX thing was funny, and honestly I preferred the incarnation without Shawn, but now? Its just two middle-aged men trying to be “shocking" (and I use that term loosely) with male anatomy and fart jokes

DD: It's almost like they want to be the NWO :P

Joose: Or maybe, just maybe, HBK will swerve us all and join Nash

Nem: Just so I can clarify here though.

They've got a Mexican heel champion feuding with Superman.

They've got an internet sensation who can't win a belt that he didn't buy.

So they bring in an old guy who has a grand total of 7 moves (if you don't believe me i'll tell you bout it) and then bring in a guy who retired 18 months ago and a guy who is in his 40's and is on the way out to headline the company and take the focus away from everything else?

Joose: oh wait, didnt that happen in reverse years ago? gah! Stupid WWE rehasing old storylines!

DD: ESPECIALLY Triple H, he freaking buries everyone....glad CM Punk gave him a taste of his own medicine....

Nem: except CM Punk has now lost twice in a row on PPV in matches involving HHH

DD: I don't see the logic in having Cena win the title anymore.

I mean every time he loses the belt he never says he's mad, frustrated about the loss. No passion about being or even wanting to be WWE Champion, so why the hell is he always in the title picture? I know he's the go-to guy but that pisses me off that he can just be given every title shot and Punk has to climb for it....

DD: Punk turned WWE upside down for nothing now, Triple H killed all that steam he had

Joose: From the rumours though, they may be keeping Cena out of the title picture now to build up steam for his Mania match, which could be a good thing, as long as HHH stays away from it too, put some new blood into it

DD: I just want Triple H out of WWE tv, it's better without him, he BURIES everyone so much. Remember that broom joke? That was GOD AWFUL

Joose: I was honestly shocked that The Awesome Truth won last night, thought they wouldve been buried for sure

DD: They practically were, there was no heat for that match last night. I didn't see the point in them fighting because CM Punk got what he wanted and that was Triple H to not be the COO anymore, and then when Awesome Truth got fired and then were brought back....there was no follow-up

Nem: DD, that's WWE for ya!

DD: you forgot the occasional big boot before the *CLIQUE....CLIQUE....CLIQUE*

Nem: Ah, take out the hair flip then lol

That technically isn't a move as such lol

Joose: What about the "menacing fist in the hair with mad shouty face"?

Nem: Just include that in "Knee into Ribs" Joose :P
