Nice Job, I thought you weren't even gonna bother rating the first match or at least gibe it a 0/5 but I do agree, it was a terrible match

This was...somethin else. It seemed lazy just so you could get to your history lesson. The point is to report what happened on ECW kid, remember that, thats what people look to see.
Grade: C

wat the hell do u mean its come along way? ECW is nothing compared to wat it used to be ever since WWE took the rights to use the ECW name it has never and will never be the same the main thing that made ECW great was the hardcoreness about it... people getting hit with irons and chairs as u put it u realy dont know wat ur talking about wen it comes to ECW any true ECW fan would take the old ECW over the new s**ty version any day

I dont like the old ECW I feel it was a travesty to wrestling and was a waste of a bunch of peoples money and my viewing time.. Hitting people over the head with weapons and making people bleed isnt wrestling. At all

I agree with your opinions of ECW but, come on, there only had about 2 or 3 matches,2 out of the 3 will get F's and non related gimmick wrestlers like why would hornswoggle be wrestling a GIRL, and 1 out of the 3 matches will get a decent C, and usually a promo that is really good and saves an episode of ECW, like when Christian returns, or Punk slamming a guitar on Chavo's head but still all the wrestlers in ECW are suckish excluding Tommy Dreamer and Christian, Swagger made No Way Out one of the worst PPV of the decade!!! and sorry but ECW is going to die without good talent and some extreme

*sighs* I could give you a history lesson on your little story Johnny, but I wont because the pure awsomeness that the old ECW had will always be better than what WWE and Vinne Mac can put out. I give your article a Massive FAIL.

I know how you feel about "hardcore wrestling" and the like but I personally love it. I've gone face first into tables covered in tacks, jumped off of ladders only to miss terribly and hit the ground hard (planned of course... well most of the time), I've even had a few 2x4's wrapped in barbed wire broken over my head. I get why you don't like it and I know it's not for everyone but For those of us who loved it the original ECW was awesome. Anyway I respect your opinion and agree with the show report.

The thing is, and its very sad, TNA has become my favorite wrestling show recently. Why? Because they never bothered to go PG. Its still somewhat extreme.
WWE has a monoploy pretty much on the buisness. They now have four damn shows a week. They have the potential to satisfy everyone watching wrestling. Here's how:
1. Raw goes back to PG-13. Vince wants it to be the flagship of WWE. Fine. Then make it good, not this crap that were forced to listen to now. Its a sad day in Raw when The King can't yell "Puppies!!!". Bring back some Attitude. Also, get Cole outta here and get JR back where he belongs.
2. Leave Smackdown PG. Leave Superstars PG too.
3. Make ECW extreme again. No better yet, let Paul Heyman come back, and let him work his magic. Let him run the show the way it was meant to be. And bring back JOEY!!!
Everyones happy. Teenagers don't have to listen to childish storylines every show, WWE can still cater to the younger viewers, and the Extremist have something to watch.

i totaly agree with plague on this one tna has alo become my fave for the same reason because they havnt gone all PG and those 3 steps that are listed there would make the wwe great again it could cater for everyone easily so i dont see why they wont

Plague you're right, I think I said something similar in the past, about why ECW should have simply remained extreme. There is no reason at all that the ENTIRE WWE has to cater for the PG market. ECW's not even available to all viewers anyway, so put it on after 9pm or something, let the younger stars beat the hell out of each other with a bit of actual extreme, let them experiment a bit, and let some of the bigger stars come onto ECW occasionally just to mix it up a bit, so they might have some more entertaining matches.
Vince seems to have forgotten that wrestling works best when you target it at the 18-25 demographic, rather than the 8-13 one. I mean, it's fine having Rey Mysterio, a man with no mic skills whatsoever, as the face of a brand that's aimed at youngsters. He's a reasonable role model, and a constant underdog, and kids simply don't get tired of him flying around the ring doing the same stuff week in, week out.
But I mean for god's sake, they're not even letting Divas do Playboy any more... what's the point in that? No more bra and panties matches? Meanwhile they bring in a SECOND women's title... seriously, who on the creative team actually thought that people watch women's wrestling for anything other than a bit of eye candy for a couple of minutes? Out of all the divas they've had in the past 10 years or so that I've been watching, only about 10 or so could actually wrestle a decent match.
If ECW had a couple of extreme matches a week, the occasional bra and panties match (or bikini contests, paddle on a pole matches, or whatever else they could think of - they were usually at least mildly entertaining) with King shouting 'Puppies!', and normal singles matches the calibre of Bourne - Morrison the other week, which was the best match I've seen in a very long time (admittedly not seen HBK - undertaker, not for lack of trying) then they'd have a great show. Imagine this lineup, if you will:
Extreme Rules Match - Tommy Dreamer vs Tyson Kidd Bra and Panties Tag Match - Maria & Kelly Kelly vs Maryse & Michelle McCool (admittedly borrowing from other brands, but I didn't fancy Natalya vs Katie Lea...) Extreme Rules Match - Vladimir Kozlov vs Finlay ECW Championship Match - Jack Swagger vs Christian vs Hurricane Helms
I'd much rather watch that, and I suppose if you've only got an hour, take out one of those extreme matches - could always have that next week... they've got enough guys there to be able to rotate - no divas there any more though.

It's also a good thing to have history lessons like you did at the end, but just keep it shorter (Its not your fault this weeks ECW sucked, but try to do your magic with it)

Im going to jump on J Master and Plagues bandwagon here. ECW should be extreme, its why it got so huge in the first place, WWE have 4 shows they could easily keep most shows PG/PG-13 and have an extreme one to cater for us bloodhounds. also baring in mind Johnny Blaze is the same guy who says John Cena is the best wrestler ever, go figure

Thanks guys. General I agree with you about rey. Underdog, high flyer, and a big money maker too, those masks. He needs to go to ECW. Thats where he belongs, he doesn't need mic promos there.
Another good thing, if ECW goes extreme, buy the extra hour to give a good show. Multiple reasons for this. 1. More action. 2. More developemental people can come up. Improve ring work and promos, while going extreme.
And Ill add another match to your card.
Rey Mysterio vs Evan Bounre vs The Brian Kendrick Ladder Match, for the reinstated ECW TV Title. Or replace TBK with the extremist of them all, ROB...VAN...DAM!!!

Let me just explain something:
Writing a 1500 word article about an ECW show is EXTREMELY hard. theres usally like 3 or 4 matches and they are rubbish, so thats why JB is not able to do a show review like Smackdown or Raw articols.
