Tag Team Domination: Latin American Xchange

Hello and welcome to the 2nd addition of Tag Team Domination and once again I am “The Masterpiece” Masked Legend and I will be selecting another tag team from the randomizer.

*Spins the randomizer*

And it lands on the Latin American Xchange

Introduction to LAX:

.

The Latin American Xchange (frequently abbreviated to the LAX) is a Hispanic tag team formed by Homicide and Hernandez who currently work for Total Non-stop Action (TNA).

.

The LAX Gimmick:

The LAX Gimmick is denounced the perceived repression of ethnic minorities by NWA Championship Committee and TNA Management, The whole point of their gimmick is military street thugs but after becoming heroes they decided to drop the militant street thug act and the group continued to stand out as proud proud street Latin Americans.

History:

LAX emerged out of the break-up of the 4Live Kru (Newly added member Kip James), which was the result in Konnan getting frustrated of the the annoying stuff done by B.G James and Kip James. When Kip James was permitted into the 4Live Kru. It was the last straw at Turning Point in 2005 when Konnan attack B.G James and Kip James with a chair, signalling the end of the stable coming to an end. Throughout December “Bullet Bob Armstrong the father of B.G James tries to get the 4Live Kru back together after there break-up. On December 31st, 2005 an episode on TNA! Impact, Bullet Bob encountered Konnan, who expressed himself that he had a change of heart but later on in the show two Latinos, the returning of Apollo and the debuting of Homicide, ambushed Bullet Bob backstage at the command of Konnan. As a result of B.G James getting angry because of the attacking the rise of a feud was about to begin. That is how it all started for the lead up of the feud between LAX and the 4Live Kru.

The Militant Thugs (2006-2007):

In 2006 an issue between LAX occurred as they refused to wrestle. Claiming that Latinos were discriminated in TNA. The storyline borrowed heavily from the current controversy surrounding Illegal Immigration. During that time Konnan established a “border”. Around the Spanish announcer area. (Where he gave the Spanish fans commentary obviously translated into Spanish alongside Moody Jack Melendez). And only allowed entry to Latinos. (They usually use the word Gringo referring to American Wrestlers or non-Latino individuals).LAX usually jumped any wrestler who crossed the border. Who even went close to the area? On June 29 episode of Total Non-stop action, Jim Cornette announced every time Homicide entrance started to play Melendez will have to do the introduction in Spanish.

Now all of you might be thinking? WHAT IS LAX THINKING!!!!

Are we possibly going to see another member?

Konnan then later made an offer to Ron “The Truth” Killings to join LAX. But sadly for LAX Killings rejected the offer. LAX then assaulted him, LAX was then thinking of attacking Sonjay Dutt after his match but their plans got FOILED!! as Killings ran down the entrance ramp and saved Sonjay Dutt.Which then led onto a tag team match at Victory Road featuring Homicide and Hernandez Vs Sonjay Dutt and Ron “The Truth Killings”. Hernandez picked up the victory for LAX via Border Toss to Sonjay Dutt.

The Heroes of the Latino Nation:

Despite Konnan leaving TNA.Hernandez and Homicide continued working for TNA as LAX. On July 26, 2007 edition of iMPACT! The LAX became heroes after attacking The Voodoo Kin Mafia for assaulting the Puerto Rican flag. At Hard Justice LAX beat VKM. But originally Kip James hit the fame easer on Hernandez and pinned him but then Hector Guerrero, the one Latin American who LAX actually feuded with (although loosely) during Konnan reign as leader. Hector Guerrero complained about VKN using Powder. The match was then restarted with the result changing via Homicide doing a roll-up on Kip James.

The possible breaking up of The Latin American Xchange:

On the January 15 2009, Hernandez cashed in his Feast or Fired case against the TNA World Heavyweight Championship but for Hernandez that was a wrong choice as the rest of The Main Event Mafia interfered in the match making Hernandez the winner by DQ but the match wasn’t a no disqualification match.

On January 29 2009 show of Impact Mick Foley announced that Hernandez will get a rematch for the interference of The Main Even Mafia.

The success was carrying on for The Latin American Xchange when Homicide cashed in his Feast or fired case for the X Division Championship successfully beating Suicide

HHHERE IS YOU WINNER AND NEEEWWW CHAMPION!!!....HOMICIDE!!!

After returning from a neck injury Hernandez. The team went inactive as Homicide was the X Division Champion and Hernandez getting another shot at the world champion. Both of the members went they own ways resulting in both becoming single wrestlers.

The heel change for Homicide:

Homicide turned on Hernandez and joined the faction World Elite effectively ending the partnership between the two. On September 10 2009 there was signs of anger between them two when Homicide tuned on Hernandez giving him a devastating chair shot.

On March 2010 there was no sign of anger as Homicide jumped the crowd and helped Hernandez while he was getting laid down by his partner Matt Morgan.

Just so people don’t get confused when Homicide turned on Hernandez. Hernandez went on to find a new partner which was “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan

In ring wrestling moves:

Finisher:

5150 (Elevated Cutter)

Borders toss by Hernandez followed by a frog-splash by Homicide.

Signature Move:

Drive – By

Catapult by Hernandez into a clothesline by Homicide knocking the opponent backwards followed by a running senton draped onto Hernandez knee.
