Foley’s Last Stand?
We start off the show with Mick Foley, who comes out with a busted up nose. Apparently he got stitches. He says that TNA isn’t designed to have two people making decisions, and he proposes to Jeff that tonight, one of them should step down for good. JJ comes out. Jarrett asks Mick if he ever thinks about what he says before he speaks. Which he doesn’t. Shocker. JJ went on a speech that they are both destined for glory, and Mick proved that becoming champ, but the story should’ve ended there. Now he put all of TNA in jeopardy for his rematch. Mick has nothing to prove to anyone else, and he’s a future legend. But Jeff asks him to do one thing. To think. About the company, and the future. Jeff says that together, they can take the company to new heights.
Mick jumps in and says that Jeff’s wrong about one thing. He has to prove to himself that the first title run wasn’t a fluke, and he wants to go against the best in the world. Mick decides to make the main event Jeff vs. Kurt. Jarrett makes a tweak, and makes it a 3 way dance. Mick, surprisingly, makes a tweak, that Angle can choose a special referee. So Jarrett makes the final tweak, that the ref can be MEM or Matt Morgan. Mick, out of respect, calls for JJ’s music. This’ll end well.
Lauren is with the British Invasion, more specifically Doug Williams. He has set up an open challenge ladder match for the X-Division title shot case. Blah blah blah,…America sucks…blah blah blah…fear us…blah blah…funny accents.

Match 1: Doug Williams vs. ???
Doug says that he doesn’t want another wannabe redneck joker, he wants a real wrestler. So, he gets Homicide. Woo!!! He’s back. He slides in and starts punching the hell out of Williams, clotheslines, a crazy spinning shoulder charge, and a monkey flip. Homicide still looks pretty good in there. He gets the ladder, and smashes it in Doug’s stomach. He sets the ladder up, and starts to climb, but Doug takes him down with a springboard tackle. Williams puts the ladder in the corner, and throws Homicide into it. He sets the ladder up and starts climbing. He’s almost at the case, until Homicide pushes the ladder, and Doug goes outside the ring into the other Brits. Homicide puts up the ladder and climbs again, Doug Williams slides into the ring, sorta, because 3D comes out and grabs him, and Homicide gets the case back!
Winner: Homicide Match Rating: 6/10. I love that in WWE, the ladder match is some crazy death chamber that’s never seen. In TNA, it’s the freaking opening match.
After the match, 3D is beating down the Brits, until Sheik and Kiyoshi come out and hit them from behind. So after that, it basically becomes a mugging.

Mike Tenay is with Suicide, who says the only clue to his identity is the music that he wrote himself. He reads some lines, and tells him that it sounds like a tormented and troubled soul. Suicide, or Batman (they sound the same), says he was in darkness, and that his torment is shared. He had two choices: life or death. Mike reads more lines, the recurring theme is that Suicide comes alive. Suicide says that he chooses to see the light, and that he is the Dark Knight. Sorry the Dark Savior. He says that he’s not the end, but the beginning.

Replay of the Sting/MEM situation.
Sting comes out. He tells Kurt to come out and get his belt, but until then, he calls out Joe. He obliges, and Sting says that he’s the reason that wrestling is as bad as it is, and why the Mafia started. He wants it all, but wont work. So he took a payoff at Sting’s expense, which was a mistake. He says that he can fight this fight by himself until things are right. He wants to know whose stopping Joe from doing something. Joe says that he’s been instructed to hold his temper, but Stings time will come. And that everyone will find out come Victory Road. Sting disagrees, and that he’s gonna find him, bring him out of the darkness and out to the ring, tear him apart, and feed him to the fans. Sting is just a total beast on the mike. Just saying.

Alex is back in, and they go for another double clothesline, but Roode pushes Storm out of the way, so they hit each other.
Roode gets the tag, and he comes in hot, clotheslines and punches. Roode hit’s a dropkick on Sabin, and then a big spine buster on Shelly, and gets a 2 count, broken up by Chris. Storm comes in and backs Sabin into a corner, and Roode does the same to Shelly. Money throws the Guns toward each other, who lock arms and spin around and run at Money, who ducks MMG’s clotheslines, then Money runs to the opposite corners, and the guns duck their clotheslines, and run to the opposite corner, who hits clotheslines on Beer Money. That was really hard to explain. Storm blocks a double team, and they hit a D.W.I. on Shelly.
