THE SHOWTIME CHRONICLES: DESTINATION X PPV Preview

Welcome everybody to another edition of, The Showtime Chronicles. My previous article was about my predictions on what matches I think will happen at Destination X. Now the matches for Destination X are confirmed so I will give my own predictions on who is going to win. As always, I will talk about the people in the match and than give my prediction on who will win… Let’s get started...

Taylor Wilde, Roxxi, and The Governor vs. The Beautiful People (Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, and Madison Rayne)

This feud has been going on for a short amount of time and I think it will be great. Madison Rayne is the newest member of The Beautiful People but she hasn’t wrestled for long in TNA. The Governor is not as good of a gimmick… It is just my opinion. The whole Governor/Wilde/Roxxi feud against The Beautiful People is not bad so I think the match at Destination X will be good. As far as the winners, well I think The Beautiful People will win. Having Cute Kip at ringside usually helps a lot. Well probably with the help of Cute Kip, one of The Beautiful People members will get the win…

Samoa Joe vs. Scott Steiner

Well finally, Samoa Joe and Scott Steiner will have a match. Samoa Joe has been attacking Scott Steiner and now they have a match. We haven’t seen Samoa Joe wrestle for a while now because he was taken out of action when The Main Event Mafia attacked him. Samoa Joe is a great wrestler. He can be a heavyweight and sometimes a high flyer. Scott Steiner on the other hand is a wrestling legend. Scott Steiner has been wrestling for a long time now. Samoa Joe versus Scott Steiner should be a good match. Samoa Joe has is a former TNA X-Divison, World Heavyweight, and Tag Team Champion. Samoa Joe has shown a lot in TNA and I hope he becomes a champion once again. Scott Steiner is a great wrestler too. He has been in TNA for couple of years now and he has been doing great. This feud should be great. Both Samoa Joe and Scott Steiner can put on a great match and that is what I think will happen at Destination X. One thing I don’t want to see is The Main Event Mafia interfere in this match. I really don’t want to see anything like that. I want to see a clean fight and Samoa Joe win… Samoa Joe will probably deliver the Muscle Buster on Scott Steiner and get the pin.

Abyss vs. Matt Morgan (1,000 Tacks Match)

The return of the 1,000 Tacks Match. The whole Matt Morgan versus Abyss feud started when Matt Morgan hit Abyss with a Steel Chair. Before that, Matt Morgan and Abyss were a tag team. This feud should be great… One thing I didn’t get this week on Impact was the whole Lauren being Abyss’s girlfriend. She can be great in this storyline but the whole girlfriend thing sounds weird to me… I don’t know when but I hope Abyss’s therapist, Dr. Stevie (Stevie Richards) will be used. What I hope to see is him coming down to the ring at Destination X and help Abyss win the match. What I mean by that is, Stevie delivering a Super Kick on Matt Morgan. Well I know that won’t happen but I hope it does. I don’t think Matt Morgan has ever been in matches involving Tacks but now I hope he falls on them. What I think will happen this Sunday is Abyss will Chokeslam Matt Morgan onto the Tacks and get the win…

Awesome Kong© vs. Sojourner Bolt (TNA Knockouts Championship match)

Sojourner Bolt is a new TNA Knockout and she has been showing great action lately. I believe that she can be a great champion. Awesome Kong has been a champion for a long time. Sojourner Bolt was in the Kogtourage for couple of weeks and than she separated once she won the #1 Contender Battle Royal for The TNA Knockouts Championship. Awesome Kong is a two time TNA Knockouts Champion and she is impossible to beat for the title. As I have mentioned in the past, I don’t really like when people are champions for a long amount of time. I really hope Sojourner Bolt wins the title this Sunday. What I think is going to happen is Raisha Saeed will try to interfere but Rhaka Khan will stop her. Awesome Kong will get distracted and she will get pinned for the win.

Winner: Sojourner Bolt

Beer Money© vs. Team 3D (TNA Tag Team Championship/Off the Wagon Match)

This match will be a tough match. In this match if Team 3D wins, they become the TNA Tag Team champions but if they lose, the member that was pinned gets fired from TNA. The whole Beer Money off the Wagon Storyline is great. I would want neither Brother Ray nor Brother D-Von to get fired but in wrestling, everything is possible. I am sure that both teams will put on a great match but I just hope no one will get fired. Team 3D are one of the greatest Tag Teams in Wrestling History. Team 3D hasn’t won a championship in a year or more… I would want to see them become Tag Team Champions once again. Beer Money is a great tag team. They have been champions for a while now and I think it’s time they lose the titles. Both Storm and Roode have shown great wrestling action and they are a great tag team. Besides being a great Tag Team, they are also great Tag Team Champions. This Sunday at Destination X, I think no one will get fired. Either Team 3D will get the titles or win by DQ.

Booker T© vs. AJ Styles (TNA Legends Championship)

Booker T is the first ever TNA Legends Champion. He crowned himself the champion and no one has beaten him since than. AJ Styles stole The Legends Championship and he was attacking Booker T for weeks. Last week on TNA iMPACT, AJ Styles was arrested for attacking and stealing the title I believe. This week on TNA iMPACT, Jim Cornette told Booker T that if he wants hit title back, he must sign a paper stating that AJ Styles will be out of jail and he can’t press charges against AJ. Booker T signed the paper and than he also signed a paper for a TNA Legends Championship match against AJ Styles for Destination X. AJ Styles is truly a TNA Legend so the title will be perfect for him. AJ Styles helped TNA get where TNA is right now. If it wasn’t for people like AJ Styles, TNA wouldn’t have been as great as it is now. Booker T is still new in TNA and he is already a champion. AJ Styles needs that title. Who will win this match? Well AJ Styles will win and become the 2^nd TNA Legends Champion. AJ Styles will deliver a Styles Clash on Booker T and get the win.

Alex Shelley© vs. Chris Sabin vs. Consequences Creed vs. Jay Lethal vs. Suicide (Ultimate X Match for the TNA X-Division Championship)

The return of The Ultimate X Match! This is one of the best TNA matches. The people in it are all X-Division wrestlers so this match has to be… wait…it will be awesome! Once you look at the people inside the match, you can already see that the match will be great. What I love mostly about TNA is all of the X-Division wrestlers. They bring such impact to matches. I just can’t wait to see this match. There have been many Ultimate X matches in the past and I hope this one is as great as the others. Alex Shelley is the current TNA X-Division Champion so he has to defend his title against 3 other people. I said 3 and not 4 because Alex Shelley said as long as the title goes to The Motor Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) he is happy. This will be Suicides debut match in TNA. I expect to see great action from him. I really don’t know who Suicide will be behind the mask because lately, Christopher Daniels and Kaz have been Suicide but I don’t really care because both have been in an Ultimate X match before, and both have done awesome in it. As far as the winner goes, I think Suicide will win. I don’t know why but I have a feeling he will become the next X-Division Champion.

Kurt Angle vs. Sting© (TNA World Heavyweight Championship/ Jeff Jarrett as special referee and Mick Foley special enforcer)

This will be the Main Event of Destination X. Although Foley will be the Special Enforcer, I am sure that The Main Event Mafia will interfere in this match. Sting has been a champion for a while now and he has been a great champion. Kurt Angle has been in a feud with Sting since the last TNA PPV. One thing I dislike is the same storyline happening over and over again. Sting is a great champion and a great wrestler. Sting is an Icon. Sting is a big star in TNA and so is Kurt Angle. The Main Event Mafia might turn against Sting after Destination X and if they do, I will be happy about that. Sting is better on his own. He can have better storylines that way. At Destination X, I think that Kurt Angle will win after a good match. I know that Jeff Jarrett and Mick Foley will try to keep a good and clean match. If The Main Event Mafia interferes, I think that might distract Sting and cost him the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. As I said, Kurt Angle will probably win. I hope to see someone else a TNA Champion though… Kurt Angle will probably get the pin after an Angle Slam.

Well that was it. There you have it folks… Those were my winner predictions about Destination X. I hope you all liked my article…

   Hate to admit it, but with so few wrestlers and storylines leading up to each ppv, it's alot more apparent how easy to predict these ppv matches end up.
   
   At least with WWE there's so much stuff going on and the face change up so often it's not quite as obvious lol, plus it's rare that they have to use a ppv to push a wrestler.

   that's mostly the right calculations, but this should be righ...
   
   Sting vs. Angle Winner:Sting
   2 reasons why I say this.
   1-Sting has always been a better wrestler than Kurt Angle
   &
   2-Jeff Jaret (sorry If I mispelled Jeff's last name) will probably hit Angle with his ol' guitar, Mick will probably do the manible claw and Sting finish Kurt off to keep the World TNA title!! Though either Mafia or Jeff or Mick will assault Sting after the win.
