Welcome to the home of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling! The Sacrifice PPV didn't feature any spectacular stipulated matches but it was still a solid show. Now you can catch all the aftermath that took place on Impact, right here on the TNA Report! - A few highlights from Sacrifice air followed by the fireworks going off which means that it's time to get started. Eric Bischoff makes his way to the ring with a piece of paper in his hand and it looks like it's time for TNA to announce their top 10 World Heavyweight Championship contenders from the internet poll rankings system. Without any further or do... here are the current rankings. 10: Samoa Joe 9: Rob Terry 8: Desmond Wolfe 7: D'Angelo Dinero 6: Abyss 5: Mr. Anderson 4: Jeff Hardy 3: AJ Styles 2: Kurt Angle 1: Sting All of the men except for Kurt Angle, line up at the top of the entrance ramp. The crowd makes their presence heard by chanting "we want Angle", at least until Sting is announced as the top contender and he makes his way to the ring. Sting will face Rob Van Dam at Slammiversary but tonight he will fight in the main event against Jeff Hardy. Sting doesn't take it well and threatens to put Jeff Hardy in the hospital just like he did to Jeff Jarrett at Sacrifice. Sting destroys the set and attacks Eric Bischoff but Abyss comes down to his aid. Sting grabs the bat to take out Abyss but Jeff Hardy is right there and rips the bat out of his hand. Jeff Hardy clearly has the advantage now but he drops the bat to even things out. It ends up back firing though and Sting delivers a low blow that drops Jeff Hardy. Rob Van Dam's entrance theme booms and here comes the whole FN show! Sting turns to the ramp and Jeff Hardy capitalizes on the distraction by landing a twist of fate on Sting. He is able to escape in time to avoid a Swanton Bomb but Jeff Hardy still has the momentum going into tonight's main event. - Commercial Break - We come back from the break and Eric Bischoff is in pain. Hulk Hogan says that Matt Morgan gets a rematch for his TNA Tag Team Championships that he lost to The Band last week. The only requirement is that he has to find a partner. - Madison Rayne vs Roxxi- Non-Title Winner: Roxxi Match Rating: N/A - Commercial Break - We are welcomed back by a Kurt Angle promo. Kurt Angle didn't come out for the contenders list but now here he comes to return for the first time since facing Anderson at Lockdown. The crowd starts chanting for Angle and it's funny how easy it is for the biggest heel to turn into a fan favorite. Kurt Angle talks about how he used to be one of the elite but now he is just another name on the TNA roster. He says that he wrestles not for the money but because he was bred to be a winner. He says that he has done everything that there is to do so he wants to start over from scratch. Kurt Angle is going to start at the bottom and face each and every member of the top 10 list, one by one. And yes its real... its damn real. - Commercial Break - Almost an hour in and still there hasn't been a match that I have considered watching. Rob Terry is shown backstage and he says that even though his knee is injured, he is going to smash Orlando Jordan tonight. He even kind of likes the pain but it's time to knock Jordan's teeth down his throat. - Orlando Jordan vs Rob Terry- Non-Title The bell rings and Orlando Jordan is already half way across the ring to assault Rob Terry. He targets the knee but Terry manages to put up a hell of a fight. He counters Jordan, beats him in the corner, and peels off a back drop followed by a short armed clothesline. He goes for a quick pin but Jordan is still in it. Jordan gets up and takes out Terry's knee. He continues to pin point it relentlessly and even tries for a submission move but Terry's legs are too strong. Jordan finally locks in a knee bar and the referee calls an end to the match even though Terry never tapped out. It may have been a good judgment call but Jordan refuses to release his ruthless grasp until four referees break it up. Jordan looks to finally leave the ring but it's no use as he just continues his assault on Terry and his knee. Winner: Orlando Jordan Match Rating: 4/10 - Commercial Break - Team 3D and Ink Inc. have a confrontation backstage and it turns bad. The two teams seem to no longer have an alliance as the segment ended with the four attacking each other. - Beer Money vs Rob Van Dam & Jay Lethal Jay Lethal managed to make a good choice for a partner but he can't save himself early. Robert Roode starts the match by going to work on Lethal. Jay Lethal is able to counter though with a dropkick but loses control shortly after when James Storm interferes. Rob Van Dam tries to help his partner but the referee catches him. Lethal finally gets the intense tag and RVD starts fast with a thrust kick that almost ends the match. Lethal tags in and hits Roode hard with a missile dropkick. Lethal then hits him with a Lethal Combination and RVD matches it with a rolling flip. Crossbody by RVD takes out Storm and Lethal is left in the ring with Roode. Lethal then locks in the figure four leg lock to call out Ric Flair and it ends the match. Winner(s): Jay Lethal & RVD Match Rating: 5.5/10 - RVD goes alongside the barrier with the crowd and celebrates with the fans. He keeps giving high fives down the line until he is bashed with a steel chair. Sting rips off his mask and jumps over the barrier. A fan gives him a light shove as he walks away. - Commercial Break - Jeff Hardy is on the microphone and he dares Sting to even try and attack him. He heads up the ramp and were taken backstage. Desmond Wolfe gets a knock on his locker room door and it's time to hand over Chelsea to Abyss. Meanwhile, Abyss makes his way down to the ring and he wants Chelsea immediately. Security practically drags her down the ramp and it looks like the 30 days of serving Abyss are about to begin for Chelsea. Abyss calls out Desmond Wolfe and Wolfe is furious. Wolfe refuses to hand over Chelsea and takes out security before slicing Abyss's arm with a broken bottle. A cut isn't enough to stop the monster though and Wolfe is thrown down by a Black Hole Slam. A deal is a deal and Abyss heads up the ramp while carrying Chelsea on his shoulders as Wolfe looks on. - Commercial Break - The Band and Eric Young enter the ring and Young gets on the microphone. He announces that he has officially joined The Band. They plan on taking over TNA and there isn't a damn thing anyone can do about. - Shannon Moore vs Eric Young Moore uses his highflying abilities and advanced arm drag skills to dominate the match early on. Eric Young fights back in but only for a quick second before Moore takes back the initiative. Kevin Nash tries to sneak in a hit with his title belt but the referee stops him before he executes. At this point, Eric Young has fought his way back into the match but Moore answers with a series of nice moves. A back elbow followed by a back flip from the top turnbuckle almost ends it but he only gets a near fall. Team 3D comes ringside to attack Jesse Neil which causes a distraction. Kevin Nash capitalizes and delivers the title belt shot to Moore. Eric Young hooks the leg and that's the match but the fight isn't over. Team 3D have an easy time taking out Ink Inc. but Team 3D doesn't seem to be on the same page. Winner: Eric Young Match Rating: 5/10 - Commercial Break - 8-Man X-Division Battle Royal Kurt Angle dropped himself out of the top 10 rankings system so now somebody has to take his place. That man will be the winner of this battle royal. Amazing Red is the first to be eliminated and Max Buck follows shortly after. Alex Shelley is eliminated and so is Jeremy Buck. Chris Sabin tries for a quick elimination but ends up getting taken out by Kazarian. Homicide goes to the top rope but Kendrick dumps him out of the ring and it's down to just two. Kazarian eliminates Kendrick and becomes the tenth man in the rankings system. Winner: Kazarian Match Rating: 1/10 (had way more potential) - Commercial Break - Sting vs Jeff Hardy The two circle each other in the ring and finally the two lock horns. Sting is the one to take the lead and gets Hardy in the corner but he breaks lose. The two start exchanging punches until Sting exits the ring for reasons unknown. Jeff Hardy loses his patience and slide kicks Sting into the steel crowd barriers. The match continues outside the ring and Sting seems to have control out there and uses the ramp as a weapon. The match goes back into the ring and Sting takes advantage there to. Sting uses the same strategy as Orlando Jordan and targets the knee of Jeff Hardy. Sting Splash in the corner to break the ice but Hardy uses it as a turning point to counter. An inverted atomic drop is landed by Hardy but Sting is able to fight back. Sting locks in the Scorpion Death Lock and we might have our third submission victory of the night. Hardy is able to reach the rope but the referee is dumped through the ropes. The rule book is thrown out the window and Mr. Anderson runs in and hits a Scorpion Death Drop on Sting. The referee re-enters the ring and Hardy picks up the win. Hardy gets up and is confused as ever. Anderson calls for the microphone but Sting drops him with a baseball bat shot as it lowers. Impact fades off the air with Sting standing tall over both Hardy and Anderson.
