TNA Impact Stars Part 2

Back to home

Now Welcome to the second edition of the Impact Stars! Today I'll finish base up on the last superstars who I think have made an IMPACT in wrestling!

Starting it all of we ended with AJ Styles: The Phenomenal One, now we start with!

-Rhino-

Rhino in 05 in TNA had hype, but not enough, but all that changed in one night when Rhino beat Abyss, Jeff Hardy, Sabu in a Monsters Brawl match, then later on a battle royal was held to see who would face reigning champion Jeff Jarrett in the main event. Rhino went through intense amounts of pain in the Monsters Brawl match, and ended up winning the Battle Royal to face Jeff later in the night. Rhino had the deck stacked against him, but he ended up giving Jarrett the GORE, to secure his first TNA World Title Victory! Since then Rhino has had two injuries, and has recently tagged up with Christian Cage! What will be in the future of the War Machine in late 08, year of 09?

-Jerry Lynn-

Even though he is no longer in TNA Wrestling, Jerry Lynn has paved the way for the entire X Division, along with AJ Styles and Low Ki with all the legendary matches that they had in TNA's inception in 02! Lynn aligned with his deadly Cradle Pile Driver has secured X Division gold on numerous occassions! Too bad "The Pioneer" cannot guide the "New League" X Division! But Lynn deserves Credit!

-Low Ki-

Senshi is his new name, but he is no longer competing under TNA Wrestling! Low Ki has great agility, speed, and athleticism under his belt, and can take unconsiderably amounts of pain in a match and still compete. The match that made Low Ki famous even though he lost was AJ Styles vs Low Ki vs Psicosis vs Jerry Lynn in a Four Way Double Elimination Match, and the Triple Threat Ladder Match for the X Division Title weeks after Jerry Lynn won the belt. Will Low- Ki ever step foot in TNA again?

-Jeff Jarrett-

Jeff in the business has over come so many problems, the biggest is the passing of his wife. Jarrett was scheduled to return to the ring until his wife tragically passed after a fight with breast cancer. Jeff showed great respect for wrestling and has been the "Main Reason" TNA is still going strong today. Jeff has accomplished TNA Gold and much more from being the "Most Hated" to "Most Loved." I can't wait till The King of the Mountain makes his Return!

and finally our last superstar of the series on Impact Stars:

-Christopher Daniels-

I have to give Daniels so much credit for being such a great in ring athlete, he has great integrity and respect for others, and I just have to laugh at something, in his first debut in TNA, he was all pumped and hyped, then he injured his neck doing something onto the rope in his entrance! Good first impression! But that didn't matter because he did shock and entertain the fans in matches with AJ Styles, LAX, and in Ultimate X Match ups! Now Daniels reigns as Curry Man" He's Hot He's Spicy, He's Curry Man" the gimmick is loved by fans but for me its not good for Daniels,

-WE WANT THE FALLEN ANGEL BACK AGAIN-

Points to show Vince Russo is a lunatic!

You fogot to mention thaty JJ owns TNA, for the most part thats why he always held the title and why he was gone for awhile.. which is to bad he left after Kurt and Sting got there

With a gimmick as popular as Curryman I seriously doubt we'll see the return of the Fallen Angel, especially since he was 'fired', a fact that I for one, can happily live with.

Curryman ftw.

Jarrett doesn't own TNA, he is a co-founder (with his father), but now only retains a position as minor shareholder and vp of the company. Panda Energy owns the company and consequently Dixie Carter (daughter of the owners) is the President of the company.
Jarrett has considerable sway, no doubt, but he doesn't own it.

I like the Curryman gimmick. Comedy wrestlers are in short supply and athletic ones are even harder to come by. But I'm still waiting on Curry hitting a BME and taking off his mask lol

Currman isn't Vince Russo's idea. Daniel's came up with that gimmick a long ass time ago in Japan.

I think tna needs to work on their characters gimmicks more. For one example shark boy

Shark Boy is an homage to John Tenta (though he wrestles like "Stone Cold").

Curryman has always existed. When Daniels fights in Japan, he fights under his Curryman gimmick. It's actually older then his Fallen Angel gimmick. So don't go blaming Vince Russo for this one. It was strictly Daniels who came up with Curryman.

Comedy wrestlers are in short supply, yes. And thank gods for that. Shark Boy jumped the shark a long time ago. Curry Man.... why? Please gods why? You want a comedy wrestler, get someone like AAA's Pimpenella. At least the exotics in Mexican Wrestling aren't taking away someone as exciting to watch as the Fallen Angel and putting in a joke.

Curryman's not a 'comedy' wrestler, he's simply not as serious and intense as most, which is good. Who wants to have a roster full of essentially the same person? Curryman provides some much needed variety to the TNA roster. Shark Boy's the same, even if I'm not a fan of thw whole Steve Austin parody.

Don't hate TNA. TNA is better than ECW and SmackDown! So go crap yourself #16!

Curryman can be kinda tough to get into, but hot damn power to christopher daniels for pulling it off each time he comes out. Did yall notice in the months before he got "fired" he kinda stopped trying? He was squashed horribly in a bad feud with sting and then i think i recall a promo where he went on a purpuseully awful "god hates you all so im a heel" rant, wich killed the fallen angel character but good. He just didnt feel like doing it anymore I'm supposing, and who knows. with all the new faces mayhap upper management felt there wasnt any real future for the Fallen Angel. And continuing to say having him and sharkboy is redundant, when was the last time we heard any shell yeahs? maybe the steve austin/john tenta tribute was the last salvo from the worn out gimmick, and the tag action was in place to ease in a replacement? just my 10 cents, though i have to admit i miss me some low ki
