TNA Report 7/10/10

Onto business as usual. At the end of this article I’ll give a quick rundown on predictions for Bound For Glory.

The show starts with Abyss shouting at Dixie to shut up because she’s been “kidnapped” and is screaming for security. Abyss talks some more about “they” as he leads Dixie through the backstage out to the arena. Bischoff comes running out and convinces Abyss to let Dixie go.

COMMERCIALS

Sting, Nash and Pope are out in the ring to join Bischoff. They talk for a while then Samoa Joe and JJ run to the ring as well., there’s some more talking and Bischoff mentions that Hulk Hogan is in “intensive care” due to his latest surgery. Bischoff makes a handicap match for BFG that will see JJJ Vs. StingAsh and Pope.

We get cut to the backstage where Mickie James is arriving, looks like there’s a new knockout for the failing knockouts division.

Apparently so as they were in times square earlier this week talking about an announcement they have which will change the face of tag team wrestling forever and they’ll reveal it on 10/10/10

Rayne and Tara blind side Sky and Love as they are performing there elongated ring entrance. There’s nothing much to report on but Sky and Love hit a double team kick on Tara for the pin fall.

Bischoff’s secretary starts talking about the fatal 4 way match at BFG for the knockout’s title but Madison seems confused by this simple premise. It’s revealed that Mickie James is going to be the special guest referee for that match. MJ talks for a while and says she wants to be the first ever woman to hold every prestigious women’s title there is.

Mick Foley mentions how he has a last man standing match against Flair tonight.

Dixie tells Eric she wants Abyss fired tonight and Eric agrees.

Literally five seconds in and Foley is bleeding already. Foley pulls out his barbwire bat from under the ring steps and nails Flair with it … twice. This cuts Flair open as well. They take the fight over by the announce table then up on the stage. Foley gets thrown through a conveniently placed table from the ramp.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Back in the ring now and Flair gets some thumb tacks from under the ring and spreads them around on the mat. Foley manages to hit a back body drop which places Flair right into the middle of all those tacks. While Flair is down Foley picks up a barb wire board from under the ring and uses it to augment a knee drop to a bleeding Ric Flair who Is down on the bottom turnbuckle. Flair climbs to the top rope and splashes Foley through a table, The ref starts the count and Flair stays down for the ten count

Mick gets a microphone and reminds Flair about the stipulation they made that involved ass kissing. Fortune attack Foley from behind but EV2 make the save.

Bischoff comes out to the ring and calls out Abyss but he doesn’t show and RVD is out instead to say that if Abyss is fired then he leaves too because he doesn’t want to get
screwed out of revenge.

Eric Young is being taught how to throw a baseball by Orlando Jordan. This confuses me because I thought EY was dead, at least in the world of TNA anyway

EY starts off by giving everyone double high fives. EY tags himself in on Jesse Neil and tries to attack OJ takes EY back to his corner. OJ and Jesse fight for a while with neither one really taking control. Shannon Moore gets tagged in and starts to beat on OJ until OJ turns it round and tries to go for a dirty pin but EY informs the ref of the cheating the count is stopped. While the ref is busy with EY OJ hit’s a low blow on Moore and gets the three count.

When OJ is having his hand help up in victory EY decides to spear the ref and then get a microphone. He goes on to say that since he’s the leader of the tag team he would like to forfeit that match, He talks some rubbish about lawsuits and arranges a rematch for BFG.

Jay Lethal is showing a cameraman around his childhood house and reminisces about things like his first back flip attempt and his stupidly long drive way.

Dixie is backstage talking to RVD about how Abyss is getting fired after BFG regardless of his result in the match against RVD.

Some People called Cookie and Robbie E. come out to the ring to some weird French sounding electro music and Taz informs us they are the shore? I have no idea who they are and I’m not entirely sure I want to. The guy (Robbie E.) looks like a complete guido and apparently these guys are wrestlers? Could of fooled me. They cut a promo calling everyone hamsters and grenades, I don’t think these guys know how to use insults or am I missing something? They say next week on impact that “the party is going to be here, Bro”.

There is a small promo for BFG as if that hasn’t been mentioned enough already tonight.

Anderson is out first (There’s been a rumour that he got fired by Orton, Can someone let me know if that’s true?) and Angle follows him. They start off strong but Hardy is out after 45 seconds, AJ Styles enters,

COMMERCIAL BREAK.

We come back to see Doug Williams, Sabu, Dreamer, Max Buck and Chris Sabin are in the ring too now. Jay Lethal comes out looking angry, Jarrett enters, Pope enters, Robert Roode enters, Sting enters.

COMMERCIAL BREAK.

Apparently Jeremy Buck, Raven, Stevie Richards, Kaz and Abyss all have entered still with no eliminations, oh no, I wrote too soon. Sabu and Douglas Williams are out, Jay Lethal is eliminated by Abyss, same goes for Stevie Richards as is the case for Sabin (Abyss is on a roll) Raven’s taken out by Abyss. Everyone realises this and begin to all attack Abyss. They are split up though when Sting hit’s a stinger splash but is soon eliminated when he tries it again. Nash enters as does Matt Morgan, The two giants square off as Samoa Joe enters the match. Abyss eliminates both Morgan and Nash. James Storm enters the match. GenMe try to Eliminate Abyss but it backfires as they are both thrown over the top rope just as Alex Shelley’s music plays. Kazarian is thrown out as Rhino’s music plays but he’s not in for long as Abyss eliminates him almost immediately, Jarrett gets thrown out by Abyss as does Pope.

The match has run over into TNA Reaction again. I’m getting really annoyed with TNA because of that.

We’re back and Shelley it out thanks to Abyss as is Joe. Roode tried to eliminate his partner James Storm but failed and so they start pushing each other but soon hug and make up only to be taken out by Abyss. Dreamer hit’s a Dreamer Driver on AJ but is thrown out by Abyss straight after (I’m getting tired of writing that), The video skipped a bit so now we’re down to Abyss, Anderson and Angle. RVD comes out and eliminates Abyss so now It’s Anderson and Angle. Angle wins.

Don’t hold me to these as I may be wrong, but if I’m right then feel free to congratulate me.

I really don’t care but I think Pope’s team will win.

Either Rayne will win or Love will retain.

I think Fortune will win.

I reckon this will be a no contest.

If this match actually happens then I don’t know who will win but it will be very lulz worthy.

I think Anderson has been getting a serious push lately so he’ll win. I hope he does
anyway. It’ll make up for getting fired (If that actually happened, again, could just be rumours)

I want the Guns to win.
