-Slammiversary- TNA Slammiversary was in mind a really great Pay Per View, it was set up really well. The matches were classics. And it really entertained the fans. Though right here I want to say that my prayers are with the crew member that died's family. It's very tragic to lose a member of your team and I give my condolences. Anyways we saw A Tag Team Bout that showed great effort, we had a back and forth X Division Match, we had a breathtaking King of the Mountain Match, and we had a really great classic match with Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. All matches were very heated and it proved to be the successor to TNA's accomplisment for a great PPV. X Division Title: Kaz vs Petey Pump Williams A really great back and forth match, though I had my eyes set on Kaz to win, Petey impressed me in the match. He showed effort and never looked back the entire match. But eventually the KAZ was busted open by a lead pipe which allowed Petey to get the win. -Winner: Petey Williams- Thought: I thought this was a 3 star out of 5 match. After the Match: Abyss made his return and cleaned house by beating down Scott Steiner, Rocka Khan, Petey Williams. Team 3D vs LAX This match was mainly about revenge. It was such a great tag match, back and forth action. It made me think Team 3D would win after they took out Hernandez. But Homicide fought back and got the role up, but I don't think that it settled the rage between the two teams, we are going to have to wait for another match between these two teams. -Winners: LAX- Thought: I thought this was a 4 star out of 5 match ODB, Gail Kim, Roxxi vs Beautiful People,Moose: Gail Kim and ODB showed great effort in the match along with Roxxi, ODB finished off The Beautiful People's new muscle Moose with great strength. Sorta made it seem that the new comer who is the new Muscle could just easily be beat. -Winners: ODB, Roxxi, Gail Kim- Thought: Boring Match 1/5 stars -Awesome Kong's Challenge- One woman challenged Kong and started wailing out until she got put out with the Awesome Bomb. Then a woman who looked like Jazz took the challenge and went hay wire on Kong, and made it seem that Kong would finally get beaten. But Kong pwned her in the end. Eric Young came out and introduced Elvis which was stupid. Elvis got in the ring and was destroyed by Kong. -Lethal/VAL Wedding- Val was eyeing Lethal in love, and wouldn't stop smiling, right when they were about ready to say I Do, Dutt interrupted and said she won't marry Lethal tonight, she'll marry him instead and cracked Lethal in the back with a stand used for the wedding set up. Koko B Ware, Kamala beat down Dutt for a bit until he escaped. Val runs out crying her eyes out. -AJ Styles vs Kurt Angle- One of the greatest matches I have ever seen in TNA. AJ worked the match so well, along with Kurt. Kurt had one half of the match while AJ had the other, and then AJ hit a front suplex on Kurt of the top rope. Kurt came back with a top rope belly to belly suplex. Kurt locked in the Ankle Lock 3 times but AJ didn't tap. AJ accidently knocked Kurt into Earl Hebner. Karen came down with a chair and made it seem like she'd be screwing over AJ in the match, she went to hand the chair to Kurt but she held on and pulled away as AJ came up and hit a Styles Clash and the ref counted for the 3. -Winner: AJ Styles: Thoughts: 5/5 match awesome can't wait to buy the DVD. King of the Mountain: I thought it was just too random and boring. Rhino got put out, Booker got put out, Roode, Cage got put out, then Booker clocked Nash with the belt then climbed in the ring to hang it, but Nash didn't allow that and gave Booker a Jacknife off of the ladder. Joe climbed up and hung it to become the first ever champ to retain in KOTM. -Winner: Joe- Thoughts: 3/5 Views: 1,241

I thought the whole TNA program turned out to be a big waste of my 29.99 would have been better off finding grass and watching it grow and saving money.

WWE is a rip off of the NWA, if you look at it that way. Oh well.
Nice report, although I would have given Kaz vs. Petey 4 /5, it was better than I was expecting, not to mention the crowd got really into it which always adds to a match.
I didn't think the knockouts tag match was boring, but I've seen better from them.
I totally agree with you about Elvis though, I would give that a negative 5/5 if it were a match.

For me Petey Williams - Kaz match was the best of this all along with AJ - Kurt. I expected more from King of The Mountain. Maybe they would be able to make it better if they hadn't used so much time for crap like fake Elvis and marriage.

Well I did like the Kaz match but it just wasn't 5 stars in my eyes, but very close.. as a four star match!
TNA IS BECOMING VERY GREAT, AND BETTER, I think its only a few years before we have a ratings war between Raw, Impact.

I would rate the King of The Mountain match 4/5. It was obvious from the start that Joe would keep his title.
I'd give the Kaz Vs Williams match 4/5 too because of the nice blood :)
AJ Styles Vs Kurt Angle gets a 6/5. Match of the Year. Don't know if we'll see any better.

See it as a whole thing, slammiversary was a good ppv, even though it had the usual problem just like WWE that the match results we're all too predictable.
The only match we're i didn't bet the right result was Williams vs. Kaz, which shouldn't have surprised me because of Steiners presence.
I would rate the PPV a 3,5 / 5 with Styles vs. Angle beeing the special candy.

I thought it was a good PPV. This is the third ppv in a row I have bought from TNA. WWE I usually only buy the big 4. Everyone is entitled to their opinions but both WWE and TNA generally suck at times. However, the difference is the dumb parts of WWE is using Cena, Khali, or Snitsky in the main event of a PPV and TNA is just Russo's script. Fire russo and bring in heyman or let cornette book it. OVW under both men was far superior to WWE.

Even though i think TNA is leagues above WWE, thought this ppv was shoddy. Ok, Kaz and Petey were awesome and it was good to see Abyss back, but why is everyone raving over the AJ/Angle match? Angle is obviously in such bad shape that he looked really thin and ill and none of his moves had any snap to them. Ending was awful as well but what do you expect from Russo? A clean finish?

ABYSS IS BAAACK... thats awesome... Joe shouldnt win... it would be great if Rhino would win because then Cage would blame Rhino about GORE, Booker would complain about screwing up but Joe would start a feud with Nash because he didnt helped him :D
Kaz/Petey match and Kurt/AJ match was really great... but still i say that Lockdown matc Joe/Angle was match of the year...

I seem to be the only one that thinks this, but here goes anyway. Even though I was bored at the stupid "finding Elvis" segments during the shows leading up to the PPV, and even though I was dismayed that Eric was basically taken off of a number of impacts AND the ppv because of the whole ridiculous thing... when he finally did introduce the fake Elvis, and fake Elvis inexplicable went into the ring and got nailed by Kong... it was one of those hilarious moments where I knew exactly what was going to happen but still couldn't help laughing out loud at it anyway. Just the sheer nonsensical madness of why this fake Elvis would be heading into the ring to greet Kong. It really tickled me. Still a shame for Eric tho.
