TNA IMPACT REPORT:
Jim Cornette announced two main events for TNA Lockdown! The first was Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle for the World Title! The second was Christian Cage's Team vs Tomko's Team to battle in a Lethal Lockdown Match! Both captains of the teams have to choose their partners by March 27th!
Karen Angle made her return to the Impact Zone and made a jaw dropping bombshell of an announcement to the Fans and to Kurt! That she wanted to separate from Kurt. Kurt came out to a chorus of boos, and he said that was a great idea, and that he could now focus on Samoa Joe, instead of hearing her whine and complain and listen to her problems. Karen didn't look as happy as she would seem, it seems like something that was involved in her plan didn't work!
Gail Kim took on Velvet Sky in one on one action! Gail Kim and Sky had a back and forth match, but Kim ended up getting the win in the end! Angelina Love and Sky both beat up on Kim, Kong came out and dished out her own punishment, until ODB ran down and chased off Kong. Winner: Gail Kim
The Rock N Rave Infection took on LAX, with both women, Hemme, Salinas in the match!
The Rock N Rave Infection picked up the victory after Hemme hit Salinas with a guitar and covered her!LAX had dominated part match but it ended up with The Rock N Rave Infection getting the upperhand as LAX weren't near by to interrupt the 3 Count. Winners: The Rock N Rave Infection
Rellik and Black Reign took on The Motor City Machine Guns in a tag team match.
Back and forth but in the end Rellik and Reign got the pin! Reign called out Super Eric, who ran down to the ring and cleared the ring of the "EVIL" monsters! This match was the most boring match of the IMPACT broadcast! Black Machismo and So Cal Val went on their first date! Looks like its getting hotter and hotter!!!
A Qualifying Match for Lockdown's Xscape Match for the X Division Title, Maple Leaf Muscle Petey Williams took on Curry Man! Curry Man got the upset and beat Williams who was handcuffed and a bag was placed over his head by Scott Steiner and Rock a Khan who kidnapped him, looks like the Initiation Test from Steiner hasn't sunk in to Petey yet.
The Main Event Match Up! Christian Cage and Kevin Nash took on the TNA Tag Champs AJ Styles and Tomko, Cage and Nash dominated the match but in the end Team 3D Ran out and attacked Cage and Nash, who were then helped by AJ and Tomko to annihilate Cage and Nash! Team 3D then attacked Survivor's Joel Anderson.. Stings Music Played but he didn't show, and it startled the heels.
Side Note: I don't know if any of you guys saw the Sting Titantron thing appear anywhere but from what I read in the spoilers it said it did, my DVR only recorded the one hour and 57 minutes of the show, so I did not get to see the end.
My Thoughts: Good Show, but not as great as the past three weeks shows. I just want to know if TNA will ever release a new CD anytime soon, Because I want AJ's new theme. I'm anxious to see how the So Cal Val and Black Machismo fling will work out, maybe VAL will con Machismo and then go onto date Sonjay Dutt?
But this Team 3D, Joel Anderson thing is not working and it won't work out at all, its just a dull waste of time! Also, I'm anxious to see how TNA Tag Champs Tomko and AJ will be able to focus more on the gold and tag competition instead of AJ worrying about Karen all the time, In time I think Karen will do the same thing she did with Trademarc at Hard Justice last year and end up screwing AJ out of a huge match, possibly he may go against Kurt for the title in the future, or Samoa Joe.
Impact I hope next week has a stronger broadcast!
