Let me start my second part with a side note to thank all those who are sending positive comments about my articles and those who are suggesting new ideas. But I HAVE to make something clear – I have nothing against WWE superstar but against those ruining them. I amNOT BIASED because I am speaking about what I see (I have seen more WWE shows –three per week- than TNA). So yes, these are my personal views which you have every right to disagree with (P.S. Flaming or name calling, in the comments, against me is not going to affect me – SIMPLE: I do not even care to read the comment)
I HAVE to address the people who commented saying: “If you do not like WWE, why continue watching it and come bitch about it” and the answer is simple: “Because I CAN – if you do not like my articles Why do you continue reading them and come bitch about them?”
Thanks to a reader under the name of Proactive Warrior who told me: “I think I should mention that the Boogeyman was released after he no-showed events legitimately”, I have to clear something I said about The Boogeyman. My comments on this superstar might have portrayed WWE as kicking him just because they did not want him and that is the truth. The Boogeyman was kicked from WWE on the 4th of March, 2009 when WWE announced that they had released Wright from his WWE contract. The case that Proactive Warrior is mentioning occurred before this last kicking, back in September of 2006 when WWE.com reported that Wright had been released from the company because of “doing the bare minimum in regards to getting back into shape and had missed several required doctor checkups.” Management warned him about this but failed to change his behavior and so they let him go.
The Abraham Washington [so-called] Show
And after a great request from MANY people over the TWG servers, I find myself talking about ‘The Abraham Washington Show. Well I prefer stopping here and let you say the rest but let me give my opinion.
I want to first ask the Texas people (the place where Brian Josse a.k.a Abraham Washington was born) whether you are proud of saying that an ECW superstar is a country man of yours. I mean … do you call that segment a ‘show’? And Abraham Washington uses the most recycled and unoriginal jokes I've ever heard like: "He's higher than Snoop Dog in a hot air balloon" (erm what was that?) and always repeating the same: "If you know what I'm saying” sentence. He is so nervous and the only thing that occurred during this show and can be called interesting is Shelton Benjamin’s gimmick change. So if nothing happened that changed anything apart from the mentioned Benjamin case … what is this ‘show’s’ point? I mean, if I wanted to watch a chat show I would watch Letterman or something else not wrestling!!
Well seeing the way Abraham Washington commented on how white Shamus is, shielding his eyes and even putting sunglasses on and saying he makes Casper look like a Brother... I ask whether this racism (towards Sheamus unless he approved it and the Irish) is allowed in a PG rated show. Why isn’t blood allowed when racial comments are?
And poor Tony Atlas, the announcer for "The Abraham Washington Show" segment, why did you ever dream of ruining your career like this? It’s a shame a hall of famer has to endure the humor every week of the fans instead of being recognized for his true talents. This is the guy who once pinned Hulk Hogan in Madison Square Garden and held the WWE tag team titles? Now he is only famous for his laugh every week. A Hall Of Famer portrayed as Abraham's sidekick and laugh at his jokes with a forced uproarious laugh. Always the victim of Washington's jokes and abused then being told to shut up when laughing at jokes against him. No wonder why the guests for this so-called ‘show’ side with him … who would laugh at Josse’s supposed to be jokes? Why would ECW waste precious time like this in a one hour show on a segment which I don’t think anyone bothers about if not to see some favorite wrestler? (I’m being pessimist? OK let me look at it positively: “Thanks ECW for a toilet break in between your show!”)
But well, ECW’s rating might increase because how many wrestlers are left from the approximate number of fifteen wrestlers ECW holds that have not been interviewed there? We should be expecting Abraham to move to RAW or SmackDown! very soon unless HOPEFULLY this guy changes his gimmick (very soon PLEASE).
Let me stop here by saying that I hope that as a General Manager of Florida Championship Wrestling he does not act the same way he does during his ‘show’. Why don’t we just respect Tony Atlas as a manager, wrestler and Hall Of Famer and forget this ‘show’ ever existed?
Poor Rey
Now we switched to ECW let me mention the Mike Knox matches … WWE just doesn't seem to get the concept of wrestlers that don't get over well with the fans. Mike Knox, for instance, keeps randomly getting thrown into these matches that make absolutely no sense. Like the Elimination Chamber? Where did he REALLY fit in there? And on WWE Superstars against Rey? I guess he's revisiting the feud that went nowhere the first time because Knox has zero charisma.
Any Human in WWE?
I think now I might ask you a question … is WWE made up of humans (apart from the wrestlers –or victims-)?
I was watching a documentary on the unfortunate accident involving Owen Hart. I do not think that I have to give background about that. A friend of Owen commented on something Owen was afraid of: heights. This guy said: “Hart just hated heights; he was terrified as he walked across the catwalk”. Close friends to Hart say that he told them he does not want to do it and hopes everything will be ok but he knew that telling Vince not to do it would mean risking his career he loved so much.
But why is Vince associated with Hart’s death when Hart thought of being a ‘cartoon character’ and a superhero? If you ask this, then you do not know that Owen planned to go down 80 feet from the top of the arena perfectly protected without a chance of falling down by a harness. This was already done once and worked but having a harness of this type meant that you would take time to unclip it. Vince thought this would not look good on screen because of the equipment’s slow release clip which took too long to disengage and so decided to use another harness. The harness WWF dreamt of was one people use for the quick release of a sail bow mast and would NEVER support a man’s 210 pound weight. Vince went around asking stuntmen after stuntmen and stunt coordinator after stunt coordinator whether he should use it and almost everyone said: “Are you crazy? We would never hook a human being to that.” But someone did accept to do it and Hart, standing some 80 feet on the arena twisted a bit to adjust his cape and that was enough to send Hart down screaming.
Well Vince wanted to entertain us (and get a better television product), but how can a person risk another’s life for entertainment?
And Umaga? How can WWE forget everything this guy did for them? Can a violation of the Wellness Policy by refusing to enter rehabilitation make WWE disrespect him so much by not even giving a minute for Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler to announce the news and pass on the condolences of the WWE to Mr Fatu's family? RAW did not even mention the star's death even though the guy loved so much the company that he was telling his friends of hoping in a return in next month’s Royal Rumble. A man headlined several WWE PPVs and was in a WrestleMania main event.
Even Ring of Honor the Saturday night after the death, in Chicago opened the show with a 10-bell salute to a guy that had never worked there, just because he is a member of the wrestling fraternity.
And to make it worse, when contacted by The Sun newspaper, all theWWE’s representative had to say was: "We are not able to provide comment or clarification on this story." No wonder then why fans became furious and The Sun called this “A completely disrespectful and classless act".
And Dawn Marie? She was released from her WWE contract on July of 2005 while on maternity leave, as she had recently gotten pregnant which led her file a complaint against WWE in January 2006 with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, claiming that her contract had been wrongfully terminated as a result of her pregnancy and that she had suffered mental duress as a result of the release.
How come did WWE never come with Dawn Marie’s idea to start a Wrestler’s Rescue (aiming to create awareness and raise funds, to put into place a financial advisory to educate wrestlers about planning for their future and to set in place a health care program that can be bought into at a group rate so that the community can afford care for themselves and their families) after all these wrestlers did to WWE and their contribution in making WWE a billionaire company.

"1. Fire or lose its’ top superstar names to a rival company (Hogan, Angle, Lashley, Tazz, Raven, Richards, Burke, Rhino, Team 3D, Booker T and Foley)"
Half the names there are hasbeens that thank god! are not with WWE anymore....so totally disagree here.
Agree that PG rating and awfull DX sketches + too short matchups are killing wwe fun at though, if i wanted to see short comedy like that i would turn on Cartoon Network every suny morning...it seems if i wanted to see fighting i turn into Hells Kitchen instead of WWE Raw:(
I actually hope someone would write where in the world TNA is going with this Black Machismo challenge. First fat Anvil, then fat Tatanka beating Black Machismo with a very limited moveset? -Sigh-

Win, lose, or draw, this'll be a challenge for everyone; TNA trying to compete with WWE, WWE trying to keep their viewers, and me trying to watch both at the same time!
Oh, anyone notice this? The intro for WWE, when they compile the catchphrases of famous superstars? Did anyone else notice they took out Hogan's and replaced it? At least I think they did...

Horrible, ignorant, and uneducated. This article is beyond beliefe, I almost followed and bought into it till you showed your age.
First of all, many "old fans" do not want to see Undertaker on a bike again, that was the worse move Marc ever made in many opinions. Old undertaker is more like the one now than ever. Secondly, I agree in hating the pg rating, but TNA is no more "Pro Wrestling" than WWE. They are both just "ENTERTAINMENT". If you think they are having "REAL" rivalry, matches, or fights, you're sadly mistaken. Jeff Jarret is just as fake as Triple HHH, just not as rich.
So I dont like the "softer" new direction, I'm still not going to turn my back for a lower rate program that really can't even provide as good of entertainment. TNA is an eye sore, while WWE at least still has faces i'm familiar with reprising roles I "DO" want to see them in. As for the fresh talent and role changings for stars like cena, perhaps you young whipper snappers have forgotten I went throught this articles same disgust just 5 or 6 years ago when the "Attitude Era" cam to an end and Cena started to rise. I hated him and many other of your new favs. But i've learned to accept, and expect change. It's still better than anything else in Wrestling Entertainment.

FYI, Jeff Hardy isn't going TNa because it's better.
He violated his contract for a third and final time When he was arrested round Sept. or Oct. (whenever it was) last year.
His arrest was for possession. Not sure what all he had, but I now Meth was on the police report. This is against one of the new policies of WWE. WWE is very much about no more drug use and allows very little room for violation. All violations are answered with rehab if not firing.
Jeff has failed this twice already.
I'm a huge fan, but if he can't enjoy the great money he's makin with WWE and keep from getting arrested and do his shit in his own time, then he doesn't need to be around to disappoint me later.

You're still being biased!
This article is not written from a neutral perspective, you're just questioning WWE's decisions. Not only do I disagree with all of them but they obviously offend the WWE. "Knox has zero charisma" You can't tell me that you're not being biased if you say that, along with practically everything written in this article.

good article. And giving AN opinion is not being biased.
Don't know much about the WWE/TNA war except what I read here and there; but thay got a bunch of popular OLD wrestlers (HBK, Taker, HHH, maybe even Jericho) who can STILL give quite a show, some middle aged talent (Edge, Cena, Orton among others) who are the backbone ... it's the "newcomers" they don't know how to use: either they put them in spotlight way too soon, or they are sparcely used and quickly forgotten.
in my own Pearsonal opinion, what they lack are storywriters who are in touch with the fans, who are there because they are themselves fans of the game and not simply to collect a paycheck.
Truth to be told, i've seen better RP in some of the fantasy feds here than good "acting" in the WWE shows. Why so? Because the guys behind the fictional wrestlers are WRESTLING FANS first, they are dedicated to give their best to entertain, to surprise and to amuse EVERY week.
There has been interesting characters turns in the two Feds I play in, well build feuds which where given time to grow, fun/emotional/intense promos.
Why can't it be the same in WWE? Maybe because we just try to have fun and we aren't hungry for money as Mister Mc Mahon...

I think MVD is writing great articles that not only give his opinion but also states facts.
Now onto the the Jan 4th Monday night "War" (if you can call it that yet) I think WWE wont lose much ratings any if all but I think during the diva matches and possibly ad breaks fans might switch over and watch some TNA, in this time I think many, many people will be impressed with what they see if they actually know what professional wrestling is. I think gradually over time people will start watching TNA full-time and on TNA ads they will switch back over to WWE. First will come the actual TNA fans, then the true wrestling fans will realise if they don't already know what TNA is, and after that I feel more mature people e.g NOT CHILDREN will start tuneing into TNA.
As for part 1 many people are blubbering on about TNA buying WWE's washed up wrestlers. Hmmm, lets see. Kurt Angle, in no way is this man washed up. He is easily still one of the best wreslters there ever was. Bobby Lashley is another that comes to mind, although he is leaving for a serious career in MMA he loves TNA and the true professional wrestling but wishes to fight the best MMA stars at Strikeforce.
Now I wish to dicuss the young-breed or fresh talent TNA has and this will be the factor that puts TNA ahead if they are managed and used right. I have one name that people may have or not have heard of and that is "The phenomenal" AJ Styles, if you have seen 1 of hes matches you know why he is called Phenomenal. Not many people if any could pull of a spring-board 450 splash, he is their greatest talent and they have used him perfectly. Another great talent is that of Samoa Joe. He was outstanding when he was beating all of the MEM ( main event mafia ) but that all went a but down hill when he handed the TNA WHC to Kurt in the King of the Mountain match. Since then the mafia has disbanded and with him winning a WHC title shot in Feast or fired he is back on track. As for some of TNA's other young talent, TNA has to look no futher then the X-Division, this was once basically all TNA was. They had the X-Division maineventing and that is because the talent they have here is and was amazing, TNA fans lets go back to Bound for Glory and see the Ultimate X match between Christopher Daniels, Amazing Red, Suicide, Homicide, Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin. This was the first match of the night. To be honest if not for Sting vs AJ Styles for the TNA WHC i'd say this deserved to be mainevent. This match had more OMG moments than I have seen in a while ( long while compared to WWE ) . So for all those Anti-TNA, WWE supporters watch the highlights of this match on youtube and tell me if bar 2 WWE superstars could do anything close to this. Im now going to list the TNA talent to all those that think TNA is just old WWE/WCW wrestlers.
AJ Styles - TNA World Heavyweight Champion
Samao Joe - I'd say hes No.1 Contender atm
Christopher Daniels - Lost to AJ in a great match ( WWE has nothing on AJ's Matches) at the last PPV Final Resolution
Matt Morgan - Started in WWE but was only their for a short amount of time, easily had the potential
Desmond Wolfe - Only new to TNA but has had an extremely good fued with Kurt Angle
Eric Young - Being mentored by Kevin Nash I assume has been here since the start with AJ
Alex Shelly - Motor city machine gun, High-flyer
Amazing Red - One of the fatest moving wrestlers i've ever seen, X-Division champion
Chris Sabin - also part of the motor city machine guns, Multiple time X-Division champ, once called the future of TNA.
Hernandez - Former member of LAX which was once one of the best tag teams in TNA, had extremely good feuds with Team 3-D ( the Dudley boyz ). Maybe one of the only BIG guys to fly over the top rope.
Suicide - Is Kaz, puts on great matches everytime hes in the ring, former X-Divison champ.
Now another topic I want to talk about is Female Wrestling. Unlike the WWE, TNA actually has Female Wrestlers that can wrestle and not botch every single move. These "knockout" matches are actually watchable not just for the women but they can hold a storyline pretty well.
Now if you compare matches I would say hands down TNA could put on better, more exciting matches then WWE almost everyday of the year, bar 1 (wrestlemania HBK vs Taker) In my eyes 2 things will happen either TNA will eventually overtake WWE in ratings or Vince will buy out TNA and make another fail show out of it. Anyone remember WCW-Smackdown? ECW? Goodjob Vince you fail.
Now to all those haters out there I too once had love for the WWF/WWE but the stuff their putting out is not wrestling anymore and I am a true Wrestling Fan. So i've made the move and if you do to, you won't regret it.
TNA!

I can't belienve that some of u think that WWE is better!TNA now have some amazing stars like Hogan, X-Pac, RVD, Scott Hall,AJ Styles,Kurt Angle, Daniels and Samoa Joe. Whilst WWE have The Same Thing All The Time! John CenA Loses Title, Wins Title Back, Then Loses It Again! Watch The Far Better Show, TNA
also I am not being bias I used to like WWE but They Have ran out of good storylines and they have gotten rid of the Wrestlers With Potential.

Even with the support of Ted Turner Hogan, Bischoff and Russo weren't able to put WWE out of business. Why would it be different this time?
I agree some of the TNA talent is really great but the writing for TNA sucks. And honestly I dont care to see guys like Nash, Foley, Team 3D and so one anymore. If they want to compete with WWE they should use their own talent. I even fear Hogan starting to wrestle again, which in for me would be the nail in TNA's coffin.
Unlike many say I think Vince takes the thread serious. Cause TNA got Hogan, which is the biggest move they could make, and Vince responds by bringing Bret back. So whats TNA gonna do to top that? I can't think of anything better. Some of you might be thinking Flair but is that really better?
And for everybody who feels I'm pro WWE and therfore anti-TNA, bite me. I watch do watch TNA and they do have some great matches, but with lame storylines it just doesn't work for me. Then I'd rather watch the indies, cause that's where the true pure wrestling is. Not TNA. Not WWE.

I feel WWE can future can be good only if they do the following things
1) Remove PG ratings..(when i was kid i loved the violence, so i think the present day kids will also love it)
2) Do some good story line, experiment things instead of always using DX,Cena. They are great but shouldn't be used too often, that too with the same gimmick
3) Use the talented wrestlers they have,to their fullest value. Chavo,Kane,Finlay,Shelton Benjamin,Charlie Hass,Matt Hardy are great wrestlers and they can be put to great use. But WWE is not doing this. Where as TNA is using all of its wrestlers.
For eg. consider Daiwari in WWE, he was just used as a jobber. But TNA turned him to Sheik and made good use of him

It sounded more like someone that didn't see what happened during the Monday night wars. WWE will do just what they need to do. One of these "new" superstars will end up being a household name ala Stone cold Steve Austin. And to say the WWE is making the same mistakes as WCW?? Last time I looked it was TNA making those mistakes. They should be using their younger talent A Lot more. Not signing WWE castoffs.

People have to relize that WWE can't always be doing hardcore matches and extreme rules stuff anymore because there Stars will get injuried. Also, I don't feel that TNA is getting better or even going to beat WWE, I mean, WWE has such a huge fan base with thousands at the arena watching. TNA, well, only about 800 fans go to watch live. WWE will win on Monday, I don't think Raw is that good, because it has pretty short matches, but I like watching just grappling on WWE, then hardcore viloence and that.

In all honesty MVD yes you are bitching about absolutly nothing seriously. WWE is still attracting tons of fans rather it be kids rather it be parents or adults. TNA has good wrestling don't get me wrong but it is not as big and attractive as the WWE is. WWE is not going any where for a long time. WWE is the NFL of prowrestling and it is still drawing good crowds and it is still very good wrestling buisness. TNA is only going to make WWE better because of the competition. You can whine and complain all you want on the WWE but your right on one thing its just your opinion just like its my opinion that TNA will be just another WCW down the road.

Well just like I feared would happen, TNA now resembles WCW of the late 90's. I hope Dixie Carter has deep pockets because she is going to need them.
On the possitive side though..in between the wrestlers being laid out in the back NWO style the matches were very good. Capped off by what I think was TNA's best match ever AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle for the belt.
I thought Eric B. was going to be kept off of TV? So much for that.Eric and Hogan made the announcement together that EVERYONE was going to have to earn their spot with TNA. I can't wait to see how the cast of Hogan Knows best is going to earn their spots..oops I forgot they are his friends.
So where does that leave a lot of the other talent? I'm sure Vince will take any of the popular guys that they let go. And make no mistake about it there are going to be bunches let go. He's going to have to make room for Hall, Waltman, The Nasty Boys Probably Beefcake and a whole host of others that will be invading TNA very soon.

Exact quote from the beginning of your article. I started laughing when I first read this, because you are right on one thing. Article writers can not be biased, and must show proof of why they think their way. Then and only then is your way of thinking unbiased. Clearly though you're biased for the people who send you positive comments, and absolutely refuse to read the negative ones, but yet you don't know that they're negative until you read them right? Which means you did read them, which now makes you a liar. And you know what? I already know I'm going to get a lot of attacks, mostly saying that he's doing a job that I don't have. Well honestly, if there was something more other than supporter, I would be the best damn reporter TWG has to offer. I at least believe that this mini article is better than yours due to the fact that I supported my comments with your words, and I displayed them in a manner that anyone can go back to and read them again in case they forgot.
So come on, hate mail toward me and positive feedback are all welcomed and all will be read. I'll even thank you for the negative comments. At least then if I made a legit mistake I won't next time. Oh and Falco Fusion is my real in game name, so I'm not hiding behind anything either. Great article, DX is boring and wwe managment is un-human. But Im 18 started watching wwe around '98 but started watching regularly from 2001 to about the begining of 2006. I bought svr2010 a month ago and after playing I was like hmm.. let me check out WWE and see what its all about. I was getting ready to watch Raw last monday bc I heard about the whole Brett Heart thing, but I also heard about TNA and Hogan. After watching both I concluded that (UFC is the best, thats obvious it shouldnt be compared to WWE/TNA) TNA is for people who miss the "old" wwe like great main event matches, more action/hardcore macthes, and like to see the youth in the business being developed nicely. And WWE is for kids, seriously its target audience is kids and should be. The only reason to watch it is for entertainment and the older you get the more you miss your favorite old wrestlers. So your article may be true but you just have to realize the target audiences. The best part about Raw btw is the divas haha
