SvR's Juggernaut Numbers

Back to home

The "SmackDown vs. Raw" video game sales in 2007 were $232 million, up from $166 million in 2006 and $135 million in 2005, proving the popularity of the series is ever-increasing.

WWE will leave the THQ franchise in 2010 ... something THQ probably won't be happy about considering SvR's $232 Million net gain in 2007 was 25% of the company's profit.

THQ has picked up some UFC deals but they aren't expecting it to come close to replacing WWE.

Wait, why is SvR letting the THQ deal slip away? That's an ugly gamble. If you go to a new company, the game's going to have a very different feel. Either it'll have a lot more success, or it's going to be an unrecoverable plopper.
