A Roddy Piper film's remake
It's been reported that Universal Studios is interested in purchasing the rights for John Carpenter's They Live, in order to produce a remake of the 1988 film.
They Live is a sci-fi/black comedy starred by Roddy Piper, in which he can see subliminal messages and disguised aliens walking the streets thanks to a pair of sunglasses he finds.

Actually it is also almost a cult classic and has one of the best fight scenes ever filmed. hopefully they don't ruin the remake like they have seveal other movies they remade.
