It was reported here earlier that Ken Anderson has signed with TNA and is expected to debut at Genesis as "The Big Acquisition" that was teased on Impact! this past week. There is another candidate coming into the loop as that big signing, as all signs are pointing to Sid Vicious signing with TNA. Scott Hall has been asking that the company go after him, as Hall has grown to be close friends with Sid, after he tagged with Sid's son Gunnar in his wrestling debut in the summer of '09. Sid also recently posted a TNA logo on his MySpace account.

Break a leg?
And Senshi is with WWE and if he wouldn't have gotten an injury a in the summer he would have been on one of the shows by now. So don't get your hopes up

As long as Sid don't come in as a major player I have no problem with this signing. I think the way for TNA to get up there and challenge for #1 with WWE is to do a delicate balance of new talent and old stars. I started watching wrestling as a kid in the late 70's. Watched the "Rock & Wrestling Connection" when Hulk Hogan got big and wrestling was mainstream. Even as that what going on I still preferred to watch NWA every Saturday night. As wrestling hit the 90's I watched the Monday night wars but also preferred WCW to WWF. Once WCW folded and Vince totally screwed up any good angles with mixing the two companies I stopped watching wrestling. I would watch here and there a few minutes but for the most part I watched maybe 10-15 times over a 7-8 year period. I didn't know the new stars in WWE or even TNA when it started to get bigger. I did know Sting, Nash, Booker and guys like that though when I would watch TNA every once in awhile. When I heard they were going head to head a few weeks ago for the first time in almost a decade I sat there and watched the show all the way through and flipped back and forth to WWE like I did back in the late 90's. One thing people have to remember is not all wrestling fans are 17 year old kids who are sick of seeing "old guys" like Flair, Hogan, Sting, Hall, Nash etc. Those guys, may not be able to carry a company anymore but they can generate interest in older fans and if it's done right they can work well side by side with the newer talent. If you tune into WWE and were a fan in the 90's all you see is DX doing the same routine they did 10 years ago. At least on TNA there is 10-12 guys I remember from the WCW days as well as great new talent. To compete with WWE, TNA needs to keep the new fans and bring back the old fans.

comment 5, nto everyone whoz 17 ahtes the older talent. I am 19 and I ahv eno problem with the odler talent as long as they are entertaining. Where ar emsot of them lsot it when Ric Flair was wrestling for WWE a few eyars ago eh wasn't the best but he was good enough to be a mid carder and judging by his age thats awesome. but any video I ahve watrched of Hulk hogan as far as I can tell he doesn't ahve ANY TALENT. sorry guys

Whats wrong with all you people?I have no problem with the older guys coming back.I dont think Hogan and Bischoff are stupid enough to let them ruin TNA.I think they really want to give the fans and the wrestlers an alternative.I love the idea of bringing Sid back. You know why?....because Sid is the MASTER and RULER of THE WORLD!!!!!!
