According to the source JBL will be making an appearance at the 10th anniversary of Smackdown Taping next week.
In other news Michael Cole is said to be doing commentary for the night, and WWE has some other surprises set as well.

It would not suprise me..
JBL could be good, hopefully Michael is there to take a clothesline from hell, and JBL does commentary for the night. Vinces way of punishing him for his mistakes.

I really hope that JBL comes back as a full tiem color commentator. I don't care what brand he's on but the ringside commentating teams suck. Cole keeps botching, Lawler has no more charisma, Grisham is just plain boring, JR(with all due respect) is boring too, Josh Matthews and Striker are the best team right now, but there on ECW....which sucks. JBL was funny as hell when he was color commentator! I like to watch MVP in his early days ion the WWE solely because of how JBL always made fun of him.
