Backstage Heat Between WWE Announcers
According to The Wrestling Observer, there is legitimate heat between Raw's announcers Michael Cole/Jerry Lawler and Smackdown!'s announcer Matt Striker.
Lately, tension could be sensed when all three did a broadcast together.
Apparently, Striker often comes off as an elitist and Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler are apparently not too fond of him as they feel he is not worthy of the platform that he puts himself on. One source was also quoted as saying that "he has a long way to go to come off as good as he thinks he is."

Micheal Cole is the same way, except he has done a lot less than Matt Striker. I hate them both.

in defense of matt striker. He is easily, the most educated announcer wwe has. Offers more in depth wrestling knowledge then either other announcer. Use to be a wrestler, mroe then what cole can say.

I agree with comment #3, Matt Striker goes in depth when he's doing a match, something Micheal Cole and King dont do. Raw should have JR and Striker doing commentary and Micheal Cole and King doing Smackdown

Now wait just a minute here. I've held more titles than pretty much anyone in North America. I've run for mayor of my hometown to try and make some real changes, and I lost my spooning partner to another Bells Palsy attack. I think I deserve a little respect here. Just Cause Matt Striker was a school teacher who took sick days to learn how to job out to people doesn't make him a star. He's still worlds better than that moron, Cole though.
