Upcoming host of Monday Night Raw, Ben Roethlisberger, has defended his position saying that Vince McMahon called him up and asked him to be the host. He agreed. He had a talk with his coach about hosting the show but he didn't really ask for his permission.
He didn't feel as though he had to ask for his permission because it is the football stars "off day"
Roethlisberger says: "I talked to him (Coach) about it to get a feel if he was going to have a big problem with it. I figured that he'd tell me if it mattered to him. But like I said, it's our off day.

Hate the Steelers, and always will, but this might be interesting. McMahon always was a smart businessman. The NFL crowd will surely be drawn to RAW this Monday.
