Billy Kidman Promotion
According to the source, Billy Kidman is getting ready for a major promotion in the WWE. The former WCW and WWE star Billy Kidman is currently working in Florida Championship Wrestling as a trainer, but will be taking a new job on the main roster soon. Kidman is getting ready to take over for Gerald Brisco at the "Gorilla Position" at WWE events. The Gorilla Position is the name given to the person who stands backstage, right behind the curtain that the stars come out of. It is named after WWE Legend Gorilla Monsoon.

from what I understand, the person at this position tells the superstars what they did right or wrong in their match and such...

Kidman's knees are probably too f---ed up for him to wrestle. A lot of high flyers end up that way because splash moves are done so you land on your knees. Keiji Mutoh, inventor of the Moonsault, has tons of knee problems and it's severely affected his workrate (and yet, he's still better than anyone in WWE). Kidman probably enjoys walking painlessly, which is why he doesn't wrestle anymore.
He wasn't even that good in the first place, though. He wasn't BAD, mind you. But he was either mediocre or just didn't bother trying to put any effort into his matches.

One of the primary responsibilities at the Gorilla Position is working out timings for matches.
Billy Kidman has been working alongside Gerry Brisco in this position since at least May.
The main reason he's coming in is that Stephanie McMahon is trying to phase out Vince's cronies and replace them with her own crew - that's why some of the older road agents have been released this year such as Jack Lanza and Sgt. Slaugter.
