Booker T's WWE Negotiations Fail

According to ProWrestling.net, rumors that Booker T was very close to re-signing with WWE, and most likely would have returned to the company at The Royal Rumble were true.


However, negotiations fell through between both sides and an agreement was never reached.

The reason seems to be that Booker T was demanding a much lighter schedule, including tat of participating in less house show events. Booker T was asking for a schedule like Shawn Michaels got but WWE would not agree to the terms.

    Wow, The Stupidity of some of these comments is truly astounding.

    Booker Should have been given the schedule he requested. I feel he has earned it.

    Yeah, sure, ole Booker T *really* earned a legends schedule. It was legendary how he managed to be "the man" as WCW came crashing down. It was legendardy how Booker was finally given a title reign in WWE when the writers couldn't think of anything else. And lets not forget the tenure in TNA, where he brought in a belt and called himself a legend, while at the same time losing the ability to speak in any known tongue. I mean seriously? If anything, Booker needs to do himself a favor and just stop. If Booker T deserves a candy work schedule, then Hornswoggle needs to become the WWE and World Heavyweight champion.
