Bourne wishes he was on Iraq tour
In his WWE Universe blog, Evan Bourne spoke about about how the war in Iraq sparked off his interest in global affairs, as the war had a huge impact on his generation. He said he regretted not being a part of Tribute to the Troops this time around, but intends to head down to Iraq and support the US Armed Forces in the near future.
Bourne also blogged about how he was spending his time while recovering in rehab, and made mention of Smackdown VS Raw 2009 on the XBox 360, as well as comedy film The Foot Fist Way, starring Danny McBride.

Does anyone know if Evan is any relation to a former wrestler named "Maniac" Matt Bourne? The age would be about right for Evan to be second generation if he is.

His real name is Matthew Korklan and wrestled for IWA:MA, ROH and TNA under the ring name of Matt Sydal, so no releation whatsoever to Matt Bourne (tho would have been awesome if he was, we couldve had the 2nd coming of Doink The Clown!! lmao)
