There is a movie script being tossed around that would be a movie about Bruno Sammartino, from producer Scott Rosenfelt (Home Alone, Mystic Pizza). Sammartino has been approached about similar ideas, but pulled out when they (the producers) attempted to fictionilize his life.

Events planned in the screenplay: Bruno almost dying on a mountain when he was sick, and his family escaping the Nazis in Germany.
