Cena gets major backstage heat

As you may have read earlier on, John Cena made some harsh comments about how he feels about The Rockin the UK's "The Sun". He said that he does not like how The Rock has turned his back on the wrestling fans by not appearing on wrestling related events, yet continues to say he loves the business very much. The Wrestling Observer newsletter now reports that Cena is getting some major backstage heat from veteran superstars, for talking so negatively about The Rock using such strong words.

It should be mentioned though, that the interview with Cena actually took place a while back, even before The Rock had agreed to come to the 2008 Hall of Fame. The Sun just released the interview only a few days ago, but that's no excuse according to the wrestlers that are currently upset with Cena's behaviour.

   I guess if you say something silly, you're bound to annoy people. It was pretty daft what he said about the Rock. Of course you can love something without doing it until you're washed-up and embarrassing to watch. Rock knew when he wanted to go in a different direction - and did it. More power to him.
   
   It's a shame this overshadows a couple of other very good points Cena made in that interview (at least, as reported on a previous news item here).

   See John you don't understand you cant hate the rock just cause he didn't come to wrestling event's. You dont understand the rock has a life, and world life, and wrestling fake anyway john. You dissapointed me
