It's been reported that John Cena's promo, when he mocked on Michael Cole, drew some backstage heat on Brian Gewirtz, the man who wrote it.
Apparently, Gewirtz's goal was to improve his relationship with Vince McMahon, who is not so keen on Cole.
As Vince McMahon hasn't been so communicative with the creative team lately, there are some rumours in the Internet that situations like this may keep on showing up.

Michael Cole deserves to be buried. If you don't want people to make fun of you, don't suck so much.

I thought it was hilarious to be honest, and the bit about Adamle was funny as well, even if it is true

Didn't you two just kinda miss the point? The heat seems to be about the reasons behind making fun of Cole... not the actual fun-making itself. Seems a bit pathetic to me to write a skit against someone just because someone you want to get matesy with dislikes that person... regardless of whether or not it ended up being funny (haven't personally seen it).

I miss the days when Micheal Cole would interview The Rock...
Oh, we are talking about Cena... who wants to talk about Cena?
