CONFIRMED: Jim Ross's Contract NOT Renewed

What rumors were reporting for months, what fans could never believe would happen ... has just happened.

Jim Ross has been removed from WWE.com's Smackdown! roster as his talent contract has expired and was not renewed but is still employed with talent relations.

Jim Ross, a play-by-play commentator for WWE since 1993, confirmed this on his blog as truly disappointed he wrote: "My WWE 'talent contract' has ended after a 17+ year run with the company. Obviously, I would have liked to have had the ability to do a 'farewell broadcast' but that opportunity never occurred."
