Death of HOF: Baron Mikel Scicluna

As already announced, two days ago, the WWF Hall of Famer Baron (Baron is a title given to noblemen in Malta - Scicluna showed his royalty by wearing a blue or red cape in all his entrances) Mikel Scicluna died at the age of 80 after a long battle with cancer.

Scicluna is the only Maltese wrestler to wrestle with WWF (now WWE).

Others might know him by the names of Mike Valentino or as the Master of the 'Foreign Object' (because he used an object in the majority of his matches - nearly always a roll of coins) without the referee noticing. 

Something that made Scicluna's popularity was an episode where, in a match versus Gorilla Monsoon, the latter sent Scicluna over the top rope and Scicluna waved off his opponent and walked off, losing with a count out. After that, Muhammad Ali entered the ring from the audience to attack Monsoon but was hit by an airplane spin from Monsoon.

-> IWA (Australia) World Tag Team titles w/Cyclon Negro defeating Mario Milano & Dominic DeNucci (July 6, 1968) 
-> WWWF Tag Team titles w/King Curtis Iaukea defeating Rene Goulet & Karl Gotch (February 1, 1972) 
-> WWF Hall of Fame [ Class of 1996 ] (Inducted by Gorilla Monsoon)

   I know its lenghty, I know that alot has been taken off wikipedia (after fully checking with other sources to verify) but felt it was my duty to show you people who this guy was. the other report by my mate had no info. Couldn't let the ONLY Maltese guy to fight in WWE to pass this way. DONT WORRY, WONT COUNT AS MY WEEKLY REQUIREMENT

   I get that you were a fan, but this isn't news (except for the fact that he died, which was already reported). These news reports are supposed to provide current events, not history.

   As already said, this is not news (at least not my part of the 14 I need to do weekly) - only felt that a HOF should have more than a one liner about him.

   Don't complain lol! This man is one of those few Hall of Famers that no one really knows about. I'm from Malta as well and all I can say is that I have seen some of his matches and yes, he was very talented! RIP Mikel!! You have made everyone on this tiny island proud :)
